Charlie Kirk Predicts Eagles Victory Over Chiefs in Super Bowl Rematch Fatigue

Charlie Kirk shares his frustration with the Chiefs appearing in yet another Super Bowl, making it their potential third consecutive championship and at least their fifth or sixth appearance in recent years. Despite his disdain for both teams and the repetitive matchup with the Eagles from two years ago, Kirk offers his prediction for the big game. He also highlights Saquon Barkley's inspiring comments about faith and God being central to his breakthrough season with the Eagles.

Super Bowl Fatigue Sets In

Is it just me or is this the same thing every single year? How many times have the Chiefs been in the Super Bowl in the last five years? It feels like at least their fifth or sixth appearance, and they're going for three in a row. It's impressive, but come on NFL, get your act together. It's enough of the whole Mahomes thing and the whole Taylor Swift bit. It's just too much.

There isn't a sports team I detest more than the Philadelphia Eagles. My prediction? They go into the ninth overtime and both forfeit after a tie. This is another Super Bowl with the same people, same characters. Wasn't it just the Eagles-Chiefs Super Bowl two years ago? It's like deja vu all over again. Come on Bears, get your act together.

The Power of Great Coaching and Quarterbacks

This just goes to show the preference that having a very good coach and a very good quarterback can give you in the Super Bowl. Patrick Mahomes was asked who his favorite referee was that helped the Chiefs win games. This has to be a Dave Portnoy question.

Mahomes responded professionally: "All the refs are great man, all the refs are great. They do the best they can and go out there and play the game the right way." When asked if there's one he gives a Christmas card to every year, he said, "Possibly not that I can remember. I'll have to talk to some of my teammates, we can kind of figure it out."

Patrick handled that well, but let's be honest - they get every favorable ruling. That was a first down Josh Allen got, you can't convince me otherwise.

Saquon Barkley on Faith and His Breakthrough Season

The great Saquon Barkley, who by the way the New York Giants never should have traded, shared beautiful insights about his relationship with God: "I don't think it's ironic the year that I try to really hone in and grow my faith, I happen to have my best season. I don't think that's ironic at all."

He continued: "I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I know the Bible 100% like in and out. It's something I'm learning, I'm challenging myself to get better at with my family and my friends. It's really lucky that my agent, he's a pastor, and I'm able to have Bible studies with him. But just growing, and I think that's a beautiful thing about it. That's what religion and faith is - having a relationship with God and understanding who Jesus is. That's what I've been trying to do this year and I'm going to continue to try to get better at it. But my faith is everything and I know that I wouldn't be here without the man above."

Okay, go Eagles then I guess. That was beautiful.

Players React to President Trump Attending

Jalen Hurts was asked if there's pressure with Trump attending. His response was simple: "No man." Fair enough, not that bad, somewhat polite.

Travis Kelce, who I think is really overrated for the record, had this reaction to finding out President Trump will attend the Super Bowl: "It's a great honor. No matter who the president is, I'm excited because it's the biggest game of my life, and having the president there in the best country in the world, that'd be very cool."

Final Prediction

All kidding aside, here's my final prediction. I don't think it's going to end in a tie even though I'd like to see it end in a tie. I really struggle to pick against the Chiefs, I really do. But Saquon Barkley, who by the way is related to Evander Holyfield - very famous boxer, I think it was his uncle, he's the nephew - I think that the Eagles are going to win on a field goal. That's my final prediction.

It's really hard to pick against the Chiefs. Mahomes is special, but the Chiefs have all year seemed just not as good as they have in years past, even though they were like 17-1 or whatever, 16-2. But every game is just so close. The Eagles look like they're playing great football and I think they really, really want it.

Watching From Home

I will not be attending the Super Bowl. Instead I'll be watching at home like all the rest of you guys. Afterwards I'm going to do an entire reaction on all the Super Bowl commercials. Here's just a little teaser, a little taste of some of the Super Bowl commercials they leak early - this is the new strategy. It's good to see Martha Stewart out of jail.
