Charlie Kirk Shooting: Security Plan Denied, New Angle Evidence Emerges From Utah Valley University

A shocking development in the Charlie Kirk shooting investigation reveals Utah Valley University has denied public access to the security plan under state records laws. New video evidence shows multiple potential vantage points where a shooter could have had a clear line of sight to Kirk during the rally. The university's handling of security arrangements raises serious questions, especially considering standard security protocols at major universities typically include detailed plans for public figures. With hundreds of witnesses present and the security team's failure to cover critical areas, the investigation takes an increasingly complex turn as experts call for 3D modeling to determine exact shooting angles.

University Denies Access to Security Documents

Utah Valley University has taken the unusual step of denying Fox 13 News's request for a copy of the Charlie Kirk rally security plan. The university cited a provision in state records laws that keeps confidential "security measures," claiming that releasing the information could hurt the ongoing investigation. This denial has raised eyebrows among security experts who note that such transparency is typically standard at university events.

A former university administrator with over 10 years of experience working at MIT, Boston University, Northeastern, and Harvard explained that something appears fundamentally wrong with how this event was handled. Standard university event forms typically include a section requesting security arrangements and detailing what protection is needed. In this particular case, that standard inquiry was mysteriously absent from the documentation.

Security Failures at the Rally

One of the most troubling aspects of the incident involves the absence of security personnel on the roof where the shooting allegedly occurred. Charlie Kirk's security team has stated that Utah Valley University was supposed to handle roof security, yet no one was positioned there during the event. This represents a significant breakdown in security protocol.

Adding to the complexity, the same security team that failed to protect Kirk is now providing protection for his wife, Erika. The university has either been unable or unwilling to explain why standard security measures were not in place, leading to speculation about whether they have been legally restricted from commenting by the investigating judge.

New Video Evidence Reveals Potential Shooting Angles

Recently obtained video footage shows a previously unconsidered angle from which the shooter may have operated. The footage reveals a pole near a waterfall and courtyard area, with Kirk clearly visible from that position. The distance from this vantage point to Kirk's location measures approximately 94 feet, making it theoretically possible for a shooter to have a clear line of sight.

The video shows the area was packed with students and attendees. People filled the stairwells, crowded the tops of buildings, and occupied spaces all around the concrete walkway that circles the area. Anyone positioned on either side of this concrete structure, or on the upper level, could theoretically have taken a shot at Kirk. However, the presence of hundreds of potential witnesses in these areas complicates the theory that a shooter could have operated undetected from these positions.

Analyzing Multiple Possible Shooter Locations

Several locations have been proposed as potential shooting positions. Initial theories suggested the shooter may have been positioned on a plant area or top patio, but more recent analysis points to the edge of a building overlooking the courtyard. The challenge with determining the exact location lies in establishing whether a shooter could actually see Kirk through the tent and around the crowd.

From certain angles on the building's side, Kirk's head and neck would have been clearly visible, making those positions viable for a shooter. However, the same cannot be said for all proposed locations. Some vantage points that appear plausible on Google Earth may not have provided an actual line of sight once the tent structure and crowd are properly accounted for.

Another theory, proposed by Dr. Chris Martinson of Peak Prosperity, suggests the shot may have come from a different building entirely. Without proper 3D modeling that accounts for the tent structure, crowd positioning, and elevation differences, it remains difficult to definitively rule in or out various shooting positions.

The Need for 3D Modeling and Reconstruction

Security analysts and investigators are calling for detailed 3D modeling of the entire courtyard area. Such a model would need to include accurate scale representations of the tent, a properly positioned dummy representing Kirk's location, and all surrounding structures. This would allow investigators to test every potential shooting position by virtually recreating the scene.

With accurate 3D modeling using software like AutoCAD or 3ds Max, analysts could examine every spot around the courtyard to determine which locations would have provided a clear shot. The modeling would also help establish whether people in the crowd would have blocked the shooter's view from various positions, and whether shots from certain angles match the reported trajectory of the bullet.

Such detailed reconstruction would also help evaluate whether shots from the Losee Building or other surrounding structures were feasible, taking into account the positions of attendees and the tent structure that may have obscured the shooter's view.

Questions About Standard Security Protocols

The absence of standard security measures has become a central issue in understanding how this incident occurred. Former university security personnel note that when public figures speak at universities, security is routinely provided regardless of the speaker's level of fame. The example was given of Matt Damon speaking at an MIT commencement, where security personnel were positioned everywhere throughout the venue.

The fact that basic security protocols appear to have been ignored or inadequately implemented at the Kirk event represents a significant departure from standard university practices. The refusal to release the security plan prevents the public from understanding what arrangements were actually made and where the breakdown occurred.

Ongoing Investigation and Community Involvement

As the investigation continues, members of the online community interested in the case are being asked to contribute their expertise. Specifically, anyone with experience in 3D modeling or computer-aided design is being encouraged to create detailed reconstructions of the scene that could help establish the facts of what occurred.

The RangeDayBro channel, which has been conducting its own analysis of the shooting angles, has been asked to repeat their tests with properly scaled models of both the tent and a human figure positioned as Kirk was during the event. Such testing would provide much more reliable data about whether the proposed shooting angles are actually feasible.

Until more detailed forensic reconstruction work is completed, many questions about the shooting will remain unanswered. The combination of the university's refusal to release security documents, the apparent failures in basic security protocols, and the multiple potential shooting positions makes this one of the most complex security incident investigations in recent university history.
