Charlie Kirk Supporters Gather to Bring Flowers and Pray at Turning Point USA Offices
Supporters of Charlie Kirk gathered outside Turning Point USA's offices in Phoenix to pray and leave flowers after the conservative activist was fatally shot, with people of all ages dropping off bouquets and hats bearing handwritten messages. Phoenix police officers were seen coming and going to keep a close watch on the buildings throughout the day. Several mourners shared personal stories about rallies and events where they first heard Kirk speak, describing how his opening speeches and willingness to give people a platform to make their case, even when he disagreed, drew them to his movement. Mourners said Kirk had done a great deal for their community and described him as a kind man who engaged respectfully with disagreement rather than shutting it down, with several expressing that silencing his voice through violence was simply not right.
Flowers, Hats, and Prayer Outside Turning Point USA

Personal Stories From Supporters
Everyone interviewed had their own personal story about a rally or event where they had seen Charlie Kirk speak. One supporter described not knowing who Kirk was before hearing him deliver an opening ceremony speech, but said the speech fired her up and immediately convinced her that he was special. Another described Kirk as someone who had done a great deal for their community and called him a very kind man.
Reflecting on Kirk's Approach to Debate
Supporters described Kirk as someone willing to sit and give people time to make their point, offering a rebuttal if he disagreed but still providing them a platform to speak. Several mourners said Kirk spoke up when others felt they could not, and argued that responding to that with violence to silence his voice was simply not right.
Increased Security and Limited Access
Although Turning Point USA's parking lot was blocked off and security at the offices was increased, staff allowed some of Kirk's supporters to walk up to the building's front door to grieve together.

PEOPLE OF ALL AGES HAVE SHOWN UP
HERE DROPPING OFF FLOWERS,
HATS WITH HANDWRITTEN MESSAGES
ON THEM.
AND STOPPING TO PRAY TOGETHER,
WE'VE ALSO SEEN PHOENIX POLICE
OFFICERS COMING AND GOING,
KEEPING A VERY CLOSE EYE ON
THESE BUILDINGS.
EVERYONE I TALKED TO HAD THEIR
OWN PERSONAL STORY ABOUT A RALLY
OR AN EVENT THEY ATTENDED WHERE
THEY SAW CHARLIE KIRK SPEAK,
AND FROM THE MOMENT THEY HEARD
HIM,
THEY SAID THEY WERE DRAWN TO HIM
AND HIS MOVEMENT.
HE COME OUT TO THE STAGE AND
GAVE THE OPENING CEREMONY SPEECH
AND
AT THAT TIME I DIDN'T REALLY
KNOW WHO HE WAS,
BUT THAT SPEECH JUST FIRED ME UP
AND RIGHT AWAY I WAS LIKE,
THIS GUY IS
SPECIAL.
WE ARE VERY SUPPORTIVE OF
CHARLIE KIRK.
HE'S ALWAYS DONE A LOT FOR US,
OUR COMMUNITY.
AND HE WAS A VERY KIND MAN.
YOU COULD DISAGREE WITH
SOMEBODY,
BUT THIS IS TAKING IT TO ANOTHER
LEVEL.
HE WOULD LITERALLY SIT THERE,
GIVE YOU TIME TO PROVE YOUR
POINT.
AND
HE WOULD REBUTTAL IF HE
DISAGREED WITH IT,
BUT HE WOULD GIVE YOU THE
PLATFORM TO DO SO.
THE FACT THAT HE SPOKE UP WHEN
OTHERS
DON'T FEEL LIKE THEY CAN,
SO THIS IS THE WAY OF SILENCING
THAT VOICE,
AND IT'S JUST NOT RIGHT.
IT'S NOT RIGHT.
ALTHOUGH TURNING POINT'S PARKING
LOT HAS BEEN BLOCKED OFF
TODAY AND THERE IS AN INCREASED
SECURITY PRESENCE,
