Previously Unreleased Footage Surfaces

Chuck Keeler released previously unreleased footage on YouTube showing suspect Tyler Robinson heading toward the Utah University campus around 11:44 a.m. The video captures Robinson stopping at an intersection when a mysterious vehicle appears to pull alongside him. The footage provides several interesting details that warrant closer examination.

The Inconsistent Limp Pattern

As Robinson enters the frame and passes the first white vehicle, he's walking downhill. At this stage, the limp that becomes more evident later in the footage is not as apparent. However, it does seem to reappear as the footage progresses. When examining the video at quarter speed, Robinson appears to be dragging his right leg ever so slightly. The right leg doesn't seem to go as far forward as it normally would—the movement appears somewhat unnatural.

What's particularly striking is how the limp changes depending on the terrain. While walking downhill, the limp is barely noticeable. However, as soon as Robinson reaches flat ground, the trouble starts. The difference is dramatic—what was barely noticeable moments earlier becomes much more pronounced. This is just around the corner from the famous TMZ footage where Robinson is seen staggering across the road, in complete contrast to what appears just minutes earlier when he's walking downhill.

Possible Phone Activity

At one point in the footage, Robinson appears to be receiving a phone call. While the quality of the footage is poor and grainy, making it easy to see something that may not be there, the sequence suggests phone activity. Robinson appears to be walking along, then looks down at his phone and takes a call. It's difficult to determine whether he's using his left or right hand, but the pattern seems fairly evident: the head goes down, the phone comes out, he takes a call, and then the phone goes back in the pocket.

The phone appears to make a reappearance as Robinson approaches the intersection. He could be checking where he's going, checking the time, or looking at anything else. When played at normal speed, the action is incredibly quick—almost instantaneous. But when slowed down, it appears he quickly looks down at the phone. The sequence shows him pulling the phone out, looking at it, bringing it up to his head, and then putting it back in his pocket.

The Mysterious Vehicle

As Robinson stops at the intersection, a mysterious vehicle comes along. The vehicle appears to pull to the right and slows down right by where Robinson is standing. It passes the suspect, and it's evident the vehicle pulled to the right because the driver has to come out to the left to avoid a dark car ahead. The vehicle can be seen turning left and coming back out onto the road.

The timing raises questions. Robinson is seemingly walking toward the university campus when there's a quick check of the phone, possibly a quick phone call. The phone goes back in the pocket. He walks past a blue car and gets down toward the intersection, where he checks the phone again. The phone comes out of the pocket, he checks it, and stops at the intersection. At this point, the car pulls into the right-hand side alongside Robinson, seems to slow right down, and then moves off to the left, back onto the road and past the dark vehicle.

Waiting at the Intersection

Robinson stays behind a pole for a matter of seconds. As the car drives off, it appears he may be looking down at his phone, possibly checking something—his location, the time, or perhaps receiving a message. The footage is grainy, making it hard to tell definitively. He remains there for approximately 10 to 15 seconds before deciding to continue onward. The phone goes back in the pocket, and off he goes.

As Robinson continues down the road, he takes a left toward the university campus car park, where he's caught on following CCTV footage. The limp is much more exaggerated at this point as he's about to enter the university campus.

Questions About Coordination

The sequence of events raises questions about possible coordination. Is there some connection with the vehicle? Was Robinson dropping something off, picking something up, or passing on some sort of message? Why is he using his phone at these specific moments? Who might be calling him, and why? Is he making a call himself or letting someone know where he is?

While it cannot be definitively stated that these events are connected, the coincidences are notable. After the first apparent phone interaction, the phone comes out again at the intersection. He waits, the car comes along and slows right down, then drives off. The limp starts to reappear, and off he goes.

Vehicle Identification Attempts

Research into identifying the vehicle suggests it could be a GMC Yukon XL Denali. However, when shown to others, the consensus is that it's not quite right—not the same vehicle. The identification remains uncertain, and anyone who recognizes the vehicle is encouraged to provide information.
