Did UC Berkley Intentionally Sabotage TPUSA'a Charlie Kirk Memorial Event?

[00:00] Friends, the Charlie Kirk Show team

[00:02] here. America's debt bomb has blown

[00:03] [music] past $37 trillion and it's

[00:07] climbing every second. President Trump

[00:09] is fighting for [music] fair trade and

[00:10] strong borders to slow the train wreck.

[00:12] But the numbers don't lie. When debt

[00:14] grows this fast, it can threaten your

[00:16] savings and your family's future. That's

[00:18] why more Americans are turning to real

[00:20] assets like [music] gold and silver. I

[00:22] work with and recommend Preserve Gold.

[00:24] They make it simple to own physical gold

[00:26] and silver, even inside your retirement

[00:28] accounts, like an IRA or 401k. Text

[00:31] [music] USA to 5050,

[00:34] for their free wealth protection guide.

[00:36] With a qualified purchase, you could

[00:37] [music] get up to $20,000 in free gold

[00:40] or silver.

[00:45] We do have the great Andrew Cipher,

[00:47] however, and we have the great Joe Bob

[00:49] and the great Mikey. Yeah, we could just

[00:51] keep talking about Berkeley because

[00:52] Andrew, I mean, you planned that.

[00:55] >> Okay, this this actually is a good

[00:56] point. Give me the the rundown of what

[01:01] actually happened because you and I

[01:04] talked two two different times. You're

[01:05] explaining how this kind of sabotage

[01:08] happens. Give us the rundown.

[01:10] >> Well, it's kind of to be expected at

[01:12] this point with the UC schools. Anytime

[01:14] you're going to a University of

[01:15] California school, you just know that

[01:17] they're not going to cooperate legally.

[01:19] They're bound to. And so they're going

[01:21] to do what they must at a minimum.

[01:23] >> Mhm.

[01:23] >> But that's it. At a minimum. Yeah.

[01:25] >> And so day of a couple weeks out, they

[01:28] decided to switch the ticketing policy

[01:30] on us.

[01:31] >> Um it's a it's it's kind of par for the

[01:34] course. They always liked, oh, by the

[01:36] way, no longer can we use your ticketing

[01:37] system. You have to use ours. We're not

[01:39] going to allow standby tickets anymore.

[01:42] Um and then we fought them on that.

[01:44] Okay, we'll give you 150 standby

[01:46] tickets. We're like, well, you do

[01:47] realize this venue, you know,

[01:51] accommodates 2,000 plus people and

[01:53] there's 6,000 people that want to come

[01:55] than we have on the on the books. And

[01:57] that's just who we have on the books. We

[01:58] have way more thousands more that wanted

[02:00] to come on top of that. So, we knew the

[02:01] games they were going to play day of,

[02:03] they brought in the entire police squad,

[02:07] not just their campus police, but they

[02:09] they contracted other police, other

[02:11] security. They blocked off the entire uh

[02:14] quad right in front of the entrance of

[02:15] the of the theater. And they had four

[02:18] entrances that they were going to use,

[02:22] but they decided to go with one one

[02:24] entrance which created a Vshaped funnel

[02:27] to get into the theater.

[02:28] >> We've seen this before. And where did

[02:30] the protest set up? Right next to not

[02:33] just right next to right in front of the

[02:34] one entrance that they gave for our

[02:36] attendees.

[02:36] >> What do they call the free speech plaza?

[02:38] >> Oh, they free speech zone. They they

[02:41] designate police will designate a free

[02:43] speech zone protesters garbage dude.

[02:46] >> And by the way, at every other tour stop

[02:48] >> where they've done this, they've always

[02:49] put the free speech zone away where they

[02:51] cannot obstruct the attendees.

[02:53] >> Well, yeah.

[02:54] >> And also just for safety, just to keep

[02:56] them far enough away from each other so

[02:57] you don't see what we saw the other

[02:58] night, which was

[03:00] >> people confronting each other.

[03:01] >> Well, and again, I I don't want to sound

[03:03] repetitive, but they do this at all the

[03:04] UC schools. At UC Davis, it was the same

[03:07] thing. All of the attendees got funneled

[03:09] through the one spot that all of the

[03:12] Antifo people were. This is we're

[03:14] talking deterrent. It's a deterrent.

[03:16] It's a big place.

[03:16] >> Do you think the police do that on

[03:18] purpose?

[03:21] >> I think the police cooperate with the

[03:24] administrators.

[03:25] >> I think the administrators are saying

[03:26] this is what we want to do. The police

[03:28] will then sign off on it because here's

[03:30] the thing.

[03:31] >> Be so mad. standby people and our

[03:33] perspect all attendees that wanted to

[03:35] get in, they weren't ushered in until

[03:37] the police took over.

[03:39] >> Once the it started to get a little

[03:40] chaotic, there was violence happening

[03:42] when they were imitating gunshots,

[03:44] imitating reenacting essentially

[03:46] reenacting

[03:47] >> the assassination of Charlie. They're

[03:49] playing clips and then they had a car

[03:50] backfiring at the end of Charlie's live

[03:53] uh recording of that day. Um, at that

[03:57] point the everyone was starting to freak

[03:58] out because they thought it was

[03:59] gunshots. People were running.

[04:01] >> They were running. And at that point,

[04:02] the police said, "Administrator, stand

[04:04] by. We're taking charge. We're letting

[04:06] everybody in."

[04:07] >> Good. And so it was the police that came

[04:10] to our aid in the name of safety.

[04:11] >> Yeah. I think the police will step in

[04:13] and do their job if they're the if

[04:15] they're given the ability to, right? So

[04:17] it's it's I'm told, by the way, we're

[04:19] close to getting Ally. This is a hint of

[04:21] the administrative state

[04:23] >> both on college campuses in the UC

[04:26] system, but then also in our government

[04:28] like when when administrators get

[04:29] involved, things go south.

[04:33] >> But I think you're totally right. All of

[04:34] the police officers and the police

[04:35] presence there were were working their

[04:37] best to actually get people into the

[04:39] venue. But I do think they were

[04:40] positioned in a terrible way. And it's

[04:43] either incompetence or

[04:46] I'll take the ladder.

[04:47] >> I I agree with you. I think so, too. But

[04:49] those are the only two options.

[04:50] >> Here's the other I we always say big

[04:52] government sucks around here. The

[04:55] college administrations and institutions

[04:57] as a whole are so bureaucratic that they

[05:00] don't even know who is their boss.

[05:02] >> When you're at this event, there are

[05:04] literally so many staffers and policemen

[05:08] that if you go to them, you say, "Who's

[05:10] calling the shots here?" They're like,

[05:11] "I don't know.

[05:12] >> I don't know." Uh,

[05:13] >> and so when chaos is happening, which it

[05:15] was on, when it started to unfold and

[05:17] they, you know, the imitated gunshots,

[05:19] everything, no one knew what to do

[05:22] because they all had four different

[05:24] bosses and they didn't know who to go

[05:25] to. And when you went to that boss, they

[05:26] said, "Well, I have to get approved by

[05:28] my other boss." And then that person has

[05:29] to get approved by another boss. It just

[05:31] goes to show how ineffective these

[05:33] events if they just refer defer to the

[05:36] experts, which we are, defer to the

[05:38] campus police,

[05:40] >> these events could be run so much

[05:41] smoother as they are in every other

[05:43] state.

[05:44] >> Is California the hardest state to work

[05:46] with when it comes

[05:46] >> by far. By far it's not even close.

[05:48] >> Gavin, it's Gavin's fault.

[05:50] >> Oh, it's because his son is a huge fan

[05:52] of Charlie Kirk, but now he doesn't want

[05:54] to admit it.

[05:54] >> Yeah,

[05:55] >> that bothers me so much, by the way.

[05:57] >> Me, too. He's just lying.
