Erika Kirk Delivers Emotional Eulogy for Charlie Kirk, Vows His Movement Will Never Die

Erika Kirk stands before a grieving nation to eulogize her husband, thanking the law enforcement officers, first responders, and Turning Point USA staff who supported her family in the days after his assassination. She speaks openly about her husband's faith, recounting his final witness for Jesus Christ and describing him as a devoted father and husband who asked her daily how he could serve her better. Erika reveals Charlie's private hope to one day run for office with a mission to revive the American family, and shares his favorite Bible verse and his motto of never surrendering. She addresses her husband's killers directly, warning that his assassination has only strengthened the movement he built, and commits to continuing his work through Turning Point USA's campus tours, AmericaFest, and his radio and podcast show. The eulogy closes with a personal, tender moment between Erika and her young daughter, and is followed by a personal reflection from a longtime viewer processing the loss alongside her.

Gratitude to Law Enforcement and First Responders

Erika Kirk opens by thanking the local, state, and federal law enforcement officers who worked to capture her husband's assassin, along with the first responders who fought to save Charlie's life and the police who acted to prevent further victims that afternoon. She also thanks the officers who protected the Turning Point USA family in the days that followed.

Thanking the Turning Point USA Family

Erika expresses gratitude to the Turning Point USA board, COO Justin Streiff, and Charlie's chief of staff, Mikey McCoy, for providing stability to her family and the wider organization. She thanks the staffers of The Charlie Kirk Show who helped him broadcast every day, and the millions of people in Phoenix, across America, and around the world who have shown their love for Charlie.

Thanking Vice President Vance and President Trump

She thanks Vice President Vance and his wife, Usha, for their love, support, and for bringing her husband home, calling them tremendous. She also thanks President Trump and his family, saying her husband loved him and knew that love was returned.

Charlie's Final Witness and Faith

Erika shares that two days before the eulogy, her husband went to see the face of his savior. She says Charlie always wanted to be remembered for his courage and his faith, and that one of the final conversations he had on earth was a witness for Jesus Christ. She describes him now standing at his savior's side wearing what she calls the crown of a martyr.

The Man Charlie Was

Erika recalls the things her husband loved: life, America, nature, the Chicago Cubs, and the Oregon Ducks. She says most of all he loved his children and loved her completely, recalling that he asked her daily how he could serve her better and be a better husband and father. She describes him as the perfect father and husband, and says he believed God's design for marriage and family was the greatest joy of his life, often encouraging young people to marry and raise families.

A Private Hope to Revive the American Family

Erika reveals that Charlie privately told her if he ever ran for office, his top priority would be to revive the American family. She shares his favorite Bible verse, Ephesians 5:2, about husbands loving their wives as Christ loved the church, and says her husband lived out that covenantal love by laying down his life for her, their children, and their nation.

Addressing Her Husband's Killers

Erika says the people responsible for her husband's assassination do not understand what they have done, noting that Charlie was killed for preaching a message of patriotism, faith, and God's merciful love. She warns that they have unleashed a stronger, louder, and greater version of his mission across the country, and vows that the movement he built will not die.

Charlie's Legacy Continues

Erika commits to continuing Turning Point USA's campus tour this fall, with more tours planned in future years, and confirms that AmericaFest in Phoenix this December will go on, along with the radio and podcast show Charlie was proud of. She recalls his favorite word, earn, and his call for people to be people of action.

A Call to Get Involved

Erika encourages young people in high school or college to find or start a local Turning Point USA chapter, pastors to join TPUSA Faith, and parents to attend AmericaFest in December. She urges anyone who isn't part of a church to join a Bible-believing one, saying the movement's battle is spiritual above all else, and that no one is ever too young or too old to learn the gospel or get involved in saving the country.

A Private Moment at Home

Erika closes with a personal memory of coming home to her daughter Gigi, who asked where her father was. She recalls telling her daughter that her father was on a work trip with Jesus, and reflects on witnessing her husband now alongside his savior, saying his mission was always about making heaven crowded.

A Viewer's Reflection

Following the eulogy, a longtime viewer known as CV shares a personal reflection, saying Charlie Kirk inspired him and his wife to start a family this past year despite a miscarriage, and that they plan to keep trying. He encourages older viewers to consider growing their families and raising their children with conservative, Christian values rather than joining a campus chapter. He mentions plans to attend a Turning Point USA event at Colorado State University on September 18th, where he plans to hand out memorial hats reading I am Charlie, and reflects on the heaviness felt across the country since the assassination alongside a sense of renewed resolve.
