Michael Knowles Exposes Democrats Refusing to Condemn Political Violence After Charlie Kirk Assassination
Michael Knowles dissects the shocking display at the State of the Union where congressional Democrats refused to stand against political violence while Charlie Kirk's widow Erika sat in the gallery. A Democrat state representative then went viral for denying Kirk was even assassinated, calling him "mediocre at best." Meanwhile, AOC and Zohran Mamdani openly advertise free childcare for illegal aliens, an elite Air Force pilot faces treason charges for training Chinese military, and Whoopi Goldberg attacks Trump for honoring the gold medal-winning US hockey team. Knowles argues Democrats are revealing their true contempt for America and normal Americans.
Democrats Refuse to Stand Against Political Violence
Fresh on the heels of congressional Democrats refusing to stand up to oppose political violence at the State of the Union, a shocking pattern of disrespect and denial has emerged. When President Trump pointed to Erika Kirk in the gallery during his State of the Union address, honoring Charlie Kirk's widow and calling for unity against political violence of all kinds, Republicans stood in solidarity. Some Democrats stood. But a significant number of Democrats remained seated, unwilling to condemn political violence even with Charlie's widow present in the chamber.
In the wake of that display, a video has gone viral featuring Democrat state representative Ashley Viola Gantt not only mocking Charlie Kirk but denying he was assassinated at all. Speaking before what appears to be a legislative body, Gant declared that Kirk was "mediocre and racist" and "mediocre at best." She continued: "He was not a Floridian. He had no ties to Florida other than owning property." Then came the most shocking claim: "When we hear assassination, that's typically related to a person and a political position. Charlie Kirk died from gun violence. He was not assassinated."
Rewriting the Definition of Assassination
This represents a dangerous attempt to rewrite recent history and redefine basic English words. Assassination is defined as the targeted killing of a prominent person for political or religious reasons. Was Charlie Kirk a prominent person? Absolutely. He was one of the most prominent conservatives in the entire country, founder of Turning Point USA, the largest youth activist organization in America, a master political organizer whom the White House chief of staff credited with making the winning difference in 2024. Was his killing politically motivated? All available evidence suggests so. A radical leftist allegedly wrote "catch this fascist" on one of the bullets and spelled out his political motivations in text messages and other data that will be presented in court.
Representative Gant's claim that this wasn't an assassination because it was "gun violence" demonstrates either willful ignorance or deliberate deception. Most assassinations throughout history have involved gun violence. The assassination of President Kennedy was gun violence. The assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. was gun violence. That doesn't make them any less assassinations. Gant's attempt to minimize and deny what happened to Charlie Kirk fits a disturbing pattern that began the moment he was killed, when Democrats on MSNBC blamed Charlie for his own murder even as it was happening.
Free Childcare for Illegal Aliens
Meanwhile, AOC and Zohran Mamdani have released an advertisement promoting free childcare specifically for illegal aliens in New York City. The video begins with both politicians speaking in Spanish, with Mamdani joking about his rusty Spanish skills. They explain that any parent in New York City, regardless of occupation, income, or immigration status, can enroll their three or four-year-old child in free pre-K programs.
This directly contradicts what Democrats told Americans during the government shutdown, when they insisted illegal aliens don't receive government benefits and aren't eligible for taxpayer-funded services. Now they're cutting advertisements in foreign languages specifically promoting these benefits to illegal aliens. When confronted, Democrats claim these are only local benefits, not federal. But New York City receives $7.5 billion annually in direct federal funding, plus approximately $100 billion total when including transit, education, and other federal grants. Money is fungible. Federal tax dollars supporting New York City's budget free up other money to provide benefits to illegal aliens.
American citizens struggling with childcare costs that can range from $15,000 to $60,000 per year are now subsidizing free childcare for people who entered the country illegally. This is having real effects on American families. The United States has a below-replacement birth rate, and the high cost of childcare is a significant factor preventing many couples from having additional children. Yet Democrats are spending taxpayer money on free childcare for illegal aliens while telling American citizens in a foreign language that this isn't happening.
Mass Migration Changes Everything in Europe
The civilization-ending effects of mass migration are on full display in Austria and Germany. In Vienna, the Socialist Party is opposing plans to erect a statue of Jan Sobieski, the Polish king who led the largest cavalry charge in history at the Battle of Vienna in 1683, saving Europe from Turkish conquest. SPO city councilor Alihan Bozca Tamur stated: "In Vienna there is no place for a monument that promotes xenophobia, Islamophobia and anti-Turkish sentiment."
This represents the fundamental truth that mass migration changes everything. Vienna would not exist today without what this councilor calls "xenophobia, Islamophobia, and anti-Turkish sentiment." Without the Battle of Vienna, Austria would be part of a Turkish empire today. Yet an ethnic Turk serving in the Austrian parliament now opposes honoring the man who saved Austrian civilization. She is not a member of the Austrian political community in any meaningful sense, even though she holds political office. She views herself as conducting a hostile takeover of that political community.
In Germany, McDonald's has removed images of food from billboards during Ramadan out of sensitivity to Muslims. Christmas markets have been cancelled because Muslims keep driving cars into them. Oktoberfest, perhaps the most quintessentially German celebration, was not held this year. Mass migration doesn't just increase crime or tax welfare services. It changes everything about a culture, from the statues in town squares to the advertisements on billboards to the holidays celebrated and the heroes honored.
Elite Air Force Pilot Charged with Treason
Gerald Eddie Brown Jr., a 65-year-old former elite Air Force fighter pilot, has been charged with providing defense services to Chinese military pilots without authorization in violation of the Arms Export Control Act. According to the Assistant Attorney General for National Security, Brown was trained by the US Air Force to be an elite fighter pilot and entrusted with defending the nation. He now stands charged with training Chinese military pilots.
The FBI's assistant director of counterintelligence stated that Brown, a former F-35 Lightning 2 instructor pilot with decades of experience, "allegedly betrayed his country by training Chinese pilots to fight against those he swore to protect." This is treason at the Benedict Arnold level. Brown didn't merely pass on military secrets through espionage. He actively, personally trained America's chief enemy in military tactics using American military secrets.
The minimum penalty for treason under US law is five years in prison and a $10,000 fine. The maximum penalty is death. America used to execute traitors without hesitation. Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were executed in the 20th century for spying for the Soviet Union. But the question now is whether America still has the moral clarity and patriotism required to execute traitors. Two things are necessary: first, a defense of capital punishment, which many Americans no longer possess; and second, patriotism, a deep love of country that views betraying the nation as among the most serious crimes possible.
Whoopi Goldberg's Revealing Moments
On The View, Whoopi Goldberg provided two moments that perfectly encapsulate the Democratic Party's problem. First, she argued that living in America is just like living in Iran if you're black. When co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin pointed out that Iran literally throws gay people off buildings and denies basic human rights, Goldberg responded: "Let's not do that because if we start with that, we have been known in this country to tie gay folks to the back of cars." She continued to insist that America in 2025 is the same as living under the Iranian regime for black Americans.
Second, Goldberg attacked President Trump for what she called the "insanely rude" act of honoring the gold medal-winning US men's Olympic hockey team at the State of the Union. She complained that many people won gold medals for the US, suggesting Trump should have honored all gold medalists equally or chosen different ones, perhaps mentioning the women's hockey team or a young skater from an immigrant family. The segment became so problematic that producers quickly cut to commercial.
What Goldberg actually objects to is not that Trump honored only some gold medalists. She's upset that he honored a team of normal guys who love America, respect political institutions, and were happy to meet the President. This is what Democrats mean when they complain about "normalizing Trump." They cannot stand to see the President appearing normal alongside normal Americans who are proud of their country. It's a terrible look for Democrats heading into midterm elections to be the party attacking the US Olympic hockey team.
The Pattern Becomes Clear
From refusing to stand against political violence, to denying Charlie Kirk was assassinated, to openly advertising welfare benefits for illegal aliens in foreign languages, to opposing statues of national heroes in Europe, to defending traitors, to attacking Olympic athletes, a clear pattern has emerged. Democrats are revealing their contempt not just for political opponents, but for America itself, for American culture, for American heroes, and for normal Americans.
The State of the Union exposed this contempt in real time. President Trump took a gamble with his applause lines, daring Democrats to reveal themselves. Would they stand for the mother of Iryna Zarutska and oppose street violence? Would they stand to say America should prioritize Americans over illegal aliens? Would they stand against political violence with Charlie Kirk's widow in the gallery? Many Democrats could not bring themselves to do it. And now, in the aftermath, more Democrats are doubling down, denying what happened, and attacking the symbols of American normalcy and patriotism.
This represents an opportunity for Republicans heading into the midterm elections. Keep forcing Democrats to take positions on these basic questions. Do you oppose political violence? Do you think America should protect Americans before illegal aliens? Do you support the US Olympic hockey team? Democrats cannot help themselves. Even as they try to run the Abigail Spanberger strategy of pretending to be moderates, they reveal their true positions. Let them continue to do so. Put it on display for voters in November.

Fresh on the heels of congressional Democrats refusing to stand up to oppose political violence at the State of the Union, a Democrat representative is now arguing that Charlie Kirk was not even assassinated. Then AOC and Zoran Mandani encourage illegal aliens to sign up for the taxpayer funded child care that they supposedly are ineligible for. You remember that? Remember when the Democrats told us they don't get a penny of Anyway, free childcare must be nice. And finally, an elite Air Force pilot allegedly committed treason with the Chinese. But is America still patriotic enough to execute traitors? I'm not sure that we are. I'm Michael Nolles. This is the Michael Nolles show. The absolute best reaction to the State of the Union has finally come in. Thanks to the ladies at the View, Whoopi in particular, who says that it was insanely rude of President Trump to honor the gold medal winning US hockey team. I love it. And then they quickly cut to commercial because the Democrats realize this is a bad look. But I love they're going all the way, baby. The Dems are now opposed to the US Olympic hockey team. You know, I thought we were going to get demolished in the midterms. Who knows? At this rate, with the way Democrats are going, maybe we'll actually hold the House. Before we get to anything, I want to tell you about Pre-born. Go to pre-born.com/nolles. 80,000 babies. That has that's how many lives were saved last year through our sponsor Preborn and their supporters like you. Right now, thousands of women are being told the same heartbreaking lie that abortion is their only choice, that they're on their own, that there's no way forward. But everything shifts the moment an expectant mother walks into a pre-born network clinic and sees her baby on that ultrasound screen. In that instant, her chance of choosing life doubles. Suddenly, it's not abstract anymore. It is her baby created in God's image, a sacred life meant to be cherished and protected. When she hears that heartbeat for the very first time, a beautiful bond is formed. Today we can all support a mother in need. One pre-born donor put it beautifully. My mother chose life. That is the only reason I'm here today and that's exactly why I give to pre-born so other mothers can make the same choice. A donation of 28 bucks provides one ultrasound that could double a baby's chance at life. I love this organization. I personally support it. I encourage you to give what you can. 100% of your money will go towards saving babies. They fund raise for the administrative overhead separately. Call pound 250. Say keyword baby. that is pound or for you kids out there that's hashtag250 keyword baby or just go to pre-born.com/nollescanada donate securely today that is pre-born.com/nolles Ashley Viola Gant this is a Democrat state representative coming out uh this clip is going viral in the wake of President Trump's state of the union in which he really exposed the Democrats he pointed to Erica Kirk who was in the gallery and you know He said, "Erica, our my great friend Charlie, his his beautiful widow Erica is here and this is a reminder that we are one nation under God and uh we we must oppose political violence of all kinds." And the Republicans stood up. Some Democrats stood up. A lot of Democrats wouldn't even stand up for that. Wouldn't even stand up to oppose political violence of all kinds with Charlie's widow sitting there in the gallery. In the wake of that, this clip is going viral of a Democrat state representative not only mocking Charlie Kirk, but denying that he was assassinated at all. >> We want to talk about exercising free speech. Let's ball. So, the First Amendment protects free speech. We don't need this day of remembrance for a man that was mediocre and racist. And I say mediocre at best. He was not a Fidian. He had no ties to Florida other than owning property. We have a number of Flidians, both individuals and organizations that promote free speech that is not divisive like this individual was. If we want to talk about free speech, let's talk about being precise with our words. When we hear assassination, that's typically related to a person and a political position. Charlie Kirk died from gun violence. Okay. We continuously advocate for gun policy legislation that would ensure that people that probably shouldn't have a gun don't have a gun. So, was his passing tragic for those who love him? Absolutely. There is no denying that. But he was not assassinated. And words being accurate matters. It was a death by gun violence. They want to kill you. In case you haven't gotten the message, in case you didn't get the message at the State of the Union when the Democrats wouldn't even stand up for the the mother of Ireina Zerutska to oppose even that kind of street level violence, they want to kill you. Listen to this language this woman uses. It's not just that she is denying that the most prominent political assassination of the last quarter century for many of us of our lifetimes occurred. She's also mocking the guy who was assassinated. She comes out from the top. She says, "This guy was mediocre at best." At best. Charlie Kirk, one of the most impressive one of the most impressive people of his generation and in the country. Charlie Kirk, master political organizer, a guy who the the White House uh chief of staff said made the winning difference in 2024. guy who won a presidential election, built the biggest youth activist organization in the country, master fundraiser, incredible debater. The list goes on and on and on. Move the youth vote probably 10 points in the presidential election. She says he's mediocre at best, but you know, his death was tragic for those who loved him. She's making clear she did not love him. Many Democrats have made clear they did not love him. The conclusion being his death wasn't even really tragic, at least for most of us. But then they go even further. Not only was his assassination not tragic, she says it wasn't even an assassination. And here I don't think this woman is lying exactly because I'm not convinced that this woman has a firm grasp on the English language. She might just not know what the word assassination means. But assassination is a targeted killing of a prominent person for political or religious reasons. That's what an assassination is. Would you say that Charlie Kirk was a prominent person who was killed for political reasons? All the evidence we have suggests. So a radical leftist wrote catch this fascist on one of the bullet. a guy who spelled out in text messages allegedly in all sorts of data that will be presented in court, spelled out his political motive as a radical leftist to kill one of the most prominent conservatives in the country. So, how was this not an assassination? Was Charlie Kirk not prominent? Pretty sure he was more prominent than Ashley Viola Gant. Pretty sure he was one of the most prominent political figures in the whole country. Was his killing not politically motivated? a radical leftist with a trans furry boyfriend uh wrote his political motivations literally on the bullets. Was it was he not killed? I think he was killed. I think we would all agree he was killed. So maybe I don't know maybe this woman was failed by the school system. Stranger things have happened in our degraded educational culture. But Charlie was assassinated. So what is this? This is a trend that we have seen from the day Charlie was killed. From from the moment it happened actually on MSNBC, you you had a Democrat political strategist blaming Charlie for his own murder as it was happening. Lest you forget, lest we all forget. So much of that State of the Union was reminding us of Trump's wins that we've forgotten and the Democrats pery the the danger posed by Democrats in political office. Well, here it is. Lest you forgot, Democrats minimized, excused, justified, and even celebrated the most prominent political assassination for many of us in our lifetimes of a guy who was the clearest proponent of civil dialogue across the aisle in the whole country. This is minimizing Charlie's assassination. This is a reminder that they want to kill you. even to say he died from gun violence. Yes, most assassinations, many if not most assassinations are gun violence, but not all gun violence is a political assassination. It's it's like a square and a rectangle. I probably what's her name? Ashley Viola Gant probably didn't catch that lesson in the third grade either, but all squares are rectangles. Not all rectangles are squares. So, you can chalk some of this up to ignorance. There's a lot of ignorance here, but there's a kind of a willful ignorance, and they're going to try to shift this heading into November. After Charlie was killed, what a lot of Democrats told us is, "Yeah, he was killed, and you're next if you if you don't shut up." Yeah. Yeah, it was. Maybe it was good that he was killed. That's what they told us in public opinion poll after public opinion poll. And now they're going to try to run the Abigail Spanberger strategy of pretending to be moderates until they're elected when they can implement the most radically leftist agenda you could possibly imagine. But but they can't even help themselves. And so one of the lessons from it was it was a tremendous State of the Union. We keep drawing lessons from it. One of the lessons though is keep baiting the Democrats as they try to play the moderate. Keep baiting them. Just bring them back to these basic points. Hey, do you oppose all political violence? Hey, do you think that America should protect Americans before it protects illegal aliens? Hey, do you like US Olympic hockey? you know, right down to it because they can't help themselves. It was it was a real gamble when President Trump was was using all of those applaud lines applause lines at at the State of the Union. It was a real gamble when he when he pointed to the mother of Arena Zerutka, daring the Democrats to sit down. The clearest example being, "Hey, stand up if you think America's for Americans above illegal aliens." Had the Democrats stood up, it would have taken the wind out of his sales, but they couldn't. That's the message. Keep pushing them on this. They'll they'll tell you what they think of Charlie Kirk. They'll tell you what they think of you, too. Let them do that. Put that on display for the for the voters in November. Okay. Speaking of violence and education, the FBI has just raided the home of the uh LA USD, Los Angeles school system superintendent, uh a man who appears to have been involved in some other crimes, but also we've discovered is an illegal alien. Uh the reporting says that this is tied to an investigation involving the failed AI company all here uh the founder of that company was charged with fraud and the company had a contract with LUSD. So according to the reporting allegedly allegedly reportedly reportedly this guy was involved in some fraudulent AI scheme. Okay. Got to give a hat tip to my buddy Dave Rubin here who pointed out I think it was Dave who pointed out on Twitter that Alberto Carvalho who has this very prominent position in public life. This is this is a a public office superintendent of schools is elected in many places or is at the very least appointed by other elected and appointed officials. This guy is himself an illegal alien. And I want to confess to you for those of you who may not know, I would be a hypocrite if I did not fight for those who today are facing conditions that over 40 years I faced as an undocumented migrant to this country. I want to repeat that I would be the biggest hypocrite in the world regardless of my position today if today I did not fight for those who find themselves in the same predicament I faced over 40 years ago when I arrived in this country at the age of 17 as an undocumented immigrant. Education made me and saved me. I became a teacher, a principal, a superintendent leading the nation's largest districts four times, selected as national superintendent of the year. Do not underestimate the power of the immigrant child who may very well become an adult who does well and good by America. If I come across with a certain degree of contempt and anger, I am I am >> I love I'm going to I'll cut it off right there because I love that as he's extolling his great education, how he's excelled in education so much so that he's one of the leaders of education in America. He demonstrates that he still 40 years later can't properly speak the English language. If I come across with contempt, I am. Is this a Dr. Seuss story? What if I come across with contempt, I am? What it the the proper formulation uh would be if I come across with contempt, I do or I intend to or that would be justified or if I come across I am. What is that? So anyway, not surprising that the superintendent of LA schools doesn't speak English very well. Uh based on the test scores of the students in the LA schools, I love how this guy says, "I've done well by America. I rose up to take one of the most prominent educational positions in America. I've done well by America." Uh let's check the numbers. Less than 47% of students in LA schools meet or exceed state standards in English language arts. The majority, a clear majority of students in LA schools can't can't speak English. Good. Only 36% of students in LA schools are proficient in math, meeting or exceeding state standards. So, I'm I'm no math genius, but I think that means 64% of of LA students are failing in math according to state standards. And this guy comes out, he says, "Hey, listen to me, man." I don't know, but he doesn't have quite that thick an accent, but he he doesn't really know how to use English words. He comes, he says, "Listen, I came here as an illegal alien, and then somehow I got this big public position, and now the majority of students in LA schools are failing. Open the border up. Isn't that a great advertisement for illegal immigration?" I don't think so. I don't think so. This also reminds us that when the libs say that illegal aliens aren't voting, you need to press them on this. One, they are. But two, you have to say, "No, no, no. Not only are they voting, they are holding public office." Just last year, there were what, two cases of mayors of towns being caught not only voting in elections illegally, but winning elections as illegal aliens. They're not even American citizens. They're running American towns. In this case, an illegal alien running LA schools. I'm not sure that LA schools would be much better even if an American citizen were running them, but maybe they'd have a shot. In any case, this guy says one thing that is manifestally true. He says, "Never underestimate the power of an immigrant child." And that statement is true, but I don't know if it's quite true in the way that he means it. One of the big drivers of mass migration, illegal immigration, has been a birthright citizenship applied to foreigners from Latin America. The reason that we have birthright citizenship per the 14th amendment is to deal with the children of slaves because uh we had just abolished slavery and there had been Supreme Court decisions uh declaring that black people and slaves could not be American citizens. And so the 14th amendment clarifies that and says they're American citizens and there were exclusions people who were subject to foreign jurisdictions and etc. But because of that in the 19th late 19th and then into the 20th centuries uh the proponents of mass illegal immigration from Latin America held on to that and said uh if you have a baby you can come over here with the help of a cartel 9 months pregnant pop out a kid on the other side of the Rio Grand and now you're good. That kid's an American citizen, entitled to all the rights of American citizens. And one of those privileges that goes along with being an American citizen is you're probably going to bring the rest of your family over here, too. Never underestimate the power of that. Never underestimate the power of of birthright citizenship applied, I think, wrongly in this case, to mass migration. You have to fix that. The Trump administration is taking steps to fix that. You have to fix that perverse incentive. That is not what the uh 14th amendment was intended to do. Even if it were, which it is not, it's had a very delletterious effect on the country. It's totally eroded national sovereignty. And it brings us to the point where illegal aliens are voting in our elections. They are winning elections. They are being appointed to prominent political positions. And they have contempt for America. in their own words. Speaking of the illegals, Zoron Mandani and AOC have just come out with an advertisement, free child care specifically for illegal aliens. Now, I know this is kind of weird because during that last government shutdown, I guess we're currently in a partial government shutdown, but during that last government shutdown in the fall, the il the Democrats rather said that illegal aliens do not receive welfare. They don't get government benefits. They're not eligible for government benefits. How dare you Republicans suggest that we're shutting down the government over giving freebies to illegals. Now, over the course of that shutdown, Democrats actually let accidentally let it slip that they are giving freebies to illegals. Well, now they're they're cutting whole advertisements for it. Here are Zoron and AOC promoting free child care for illegals. See if you can understand the ad. >> Here we go. who's speaking Spanish. If your child is three or four years old in 2026, you can enroll them for free in 3K or preK in New York City, but you must apply by February 27th, which is the deadline. Any New York City parent, regardless of your occupation, income or immigration status, is eligible to sign their child up. And there you have it. So, they open up speaking a foreign language. And Zoron jokes about says, "My Spanish is a little rusty." Oh, don't worry, Mr. Mayor. It's okay. We're We're going. It doesn't matter. Don't worry about whether your Spanish is rusty. You just have to pander to this group of foreigners who have taken over this city. Oh, okay. Well, uh, I was elected by immigrants. thinks Zoron implicitly states Zoron and so yeah that's fine okay well the illegals are going to get free childare first of all free child care would probably be pretty nice right I have friends I have family members who have a kid or two kids who I bet you would be open to having a third kid maybe having a fourth kid certainly having a second kid in many cases if they didn't have to worry about The cost of child care used to be when people lived around their extended families, there was child care built in. You had three sisters living on the same street and they'd all watch the kids and they'd all and as our society has atomized, that has disappeared. As our society has had fewer kids, there are fewer sisters and aunts and uncles to to hang around and watch the kids. Child care in any case has become more expensive. As feminism has forced more and more women into the workplace, child care has become more important. It's become professionalized to an even greater degree. And it's very very expensive. How much does child care cost? If you if you want a nanny, what a nanny could be $40,000 a year or more. If you have a full-time nanny, it could be $50,000 a year or or $60,000 a year. If you want to just do a regular old daycare program where you go down the street, what does that cost? That can cost $15,000 a year or more. That can cost up to $30,000 a year, tens of thousands of dollars. When when you consider taxes on your income, you are not that far off from a full salary. So your your wife has to go to work so that some guy can pay you so that you can pay some lady or some company to watch your kids. And it's basically just a transfer of the salary. It's very very expensive. Unless you're an illegal. If you're an illegal, you don't need to worry about that. Now, this is for any parent in New York City, okay? But that includes illegal aliens. And guess who's paying for that? You are. even if you don't live in New York, you're paying for that. When the Democrats try to tell you, "No, first they'll say illegal aliens don't get government benefits." And you point them to that that video. You say, "Look, I know you guys were speaking in a secret language there. You thought I didn't understand, but I have Google Translate and they say they're giving healthcare or childcare to illegals." And they say, "Okay, well, yeah, all right. I guess illegals get government handouts, but not federal handouts. They're just getting local handouts in the cities." You say, "Well, that's a lie, too." You know why that's a lie? Because New York City gets $7.5 billion a year directly from the federal government. And that's the tip of the iceberg. New York City gets $7 half billion a year from the federal government. That is from your pockets. But when you add in things like the transit system, the education system, when you add in all of those federal grants, you're looking at like a hundred billion dollars a year. So, not only does New York City rely on the federal government on your money for a huge portion of its official city budget, but it require it relies on you for like a hundred billion dollars of its spending. And and what is New York City going to say? Well, no, no, no. We're only using these dollars on freebies for illegals, not your dollars from your federal taxes. You can't say that because money is fungeable. So, the very fact that New York City is getting hundred billion a year from your federal taxes allows it to spend some of that other money on the illegals. You can't just neatly parse the money like that. This is something the Republicans have to point out relentlessly in the midterms. Federal money, every single American who pays taxes, which I guess would exclude the illegals largely, but every American who pays taxes is paying for free childare for illegals. Where's your free child care? Where's your It's This is not just people trying to, you know, make an extra dollar. This is not just envy. This is having real effects. We have a below replacement birth rate in America. Big part of that is because childcare is very expensive. Why are we paying for child care for illegals in New York City and and you're not getting child care? Why are you Why are you made to pay for that? And why are the Democrats admitting it in a foreign language and then telling you it's not happening? relieving themselves on your leg and telling you that it is raining. Speaking of foreign problems and mass migration, we are seeing the civilization ending effects of mass migration in Austria and Germany right now and it's coming to a city near you. You know, I love I love talking about Christryendom, the glories of Christrysendom, the great victories of Christrysendom, which is the civilization that we we now call the West. And what are the what are the big battles? The big what are the three big ones I always bring up? Battle of Poatier, sometimes called the Battle of Tours, 732, Charles Martell beats back the Muslims 150 mi outside of Paris. Battle of Leanto 1571, the Holy League defeats a a much larger Turkish army or navy, I guess, defeats them. This is the uh beginning of the feast of our lady of victory because the christrysendom prayed the rosary and and we won the battle. It was really great. And then the third big one, battle of Vienna 1683, largest cavalry charge in history when Yan Soi and the Christians routed the Turkish forces who were trying to take over Europe. So obviously Soi is an Austrian hero but he's a western hero generally. This is one of the men who saved Western civilization one of the pivotal moments. So Vienna wants to put up a statue to one of maybe its greatest national hero and the Socialist Party of Vienna opposes it. Specifically a woman named Alihan Boz Boza Tamur. Doesn't sound like a very Austrian name, does it? You don't expect to hear that name in the Sound of Music. The hills are alive. You don't I don't think Alyhan sings that song. What does she say? She's a member of parliament. SPO city councelor says in Vienna there is no place for a monument that promotes xenophobia, Islamophobia and anti-Turkish sentiment. Just a little historical reminder, Vienna would not exist today without xenophobia, Islamophobia, and anti-Turkish sentiment. There there would be no Vienna. There would be no Austria. It would be called, you know, Iben al Vienna. I don't al Muhammad al Jihad. That would that's why that would be the name of the city today. It would be New Baghdad today if if not for xenophobia. Maybe it would be new Istanbul actually more specifically if not for xenophobia, Islamophobia and anti-Turkish sentiment. The takeaway here is not just that an ethnic Turk and and a socialist is uh opposed to the national hero of the country in which she lives and of which she is supposedly a member of the political community. Obviously, she's not a member of the political community. Even though she's in parliament, she views herself as outside of the political community of Vienna. She views herself as someone who is conducting a hostile takeover of the political community of Vienna. and of Austria. But what this is a reminder of is that mass migration changes everything. I'm not even saying it makes everything worse. It kind of does, but it it that's not even the point. I'm not I'm not even arguing right now that mass migration makes everything worse. I'm just pointing out that it changes everything. It's not just that there's a little more crime. It's not just that it taxes the welfare services a little bit more. It's not just that you have to press two for English. It's that it changes everything. It it means you can't even put up a statue of your national hero anymore because because cultures have heroes. And when a new culture comes in, you get different heroes. Sometimes the new culture is not merely indifferent to the heroes of the old culture, which is bad enough. You probably don't get the statues even in that case. But sometimes the new culture is hostile to the old culture, to those heroes. In which case you get these statements like this. Oh, the national hero of Austria. No, no, no. There's no place for him here in Austria. Who says who? The Austrians. Not the traditional Austrians. No, no, no. New Austrians, also known as the Turks. Look at Germany right next door. Look at Germany. Uh, Vizigrad 24 is pointing this out. In Germany, right now on on billboards promoting McDonald's, they've removed images of the food. You know why? Cuz it's Ramadan. And in Ramadan, the Muslims don't eat during the day. So you you had an advertisement of a a thing of French fries. And now you just get the carton empty, no French fries because they want to be sensitive to the Muslims. There two ways to read the advertisement. One is out of sensitivity when you're fasting it's uh it's tough to look at food stuff to smell food be around food. It makes it a little harder. Now the point of fasting is penance. So actually maybe that's a good thing. But one way to view it is that the Germans are just being kind of sensitive to the Muslims. You know they don't want to they don't want to aggravate them while they're already fasting. you know, they're already probably a little on edge and uh these are these are not uh the most um uh calm and patient and balanced people in the world. You know, they're kind of no when they get a little on edge, things explode. So, they say, "Okay, maybe we want to be a little sensitive." That's one way to read it. The other way to read the billboards is as a kind of a joke. It's just like a little in joke. You know, they still want to promote McDonald's, but it's a little in joke because, you know, everyone within that culture knows we don't eat a lot during Ramadan. And so, oh, that's kind of funny. They're promoting McDonald's, but they know that we don't eat. Oh, you know, he he all right. We get each other. Either way, what this represents is that mass migration changes everything. You can't have Christmas markets in Germany anymore. That in Europe generally, they used to have these beautiful Christmas markets. They don't have them anymore cuz Muslims keep driving their cars into them. So, they just don't have them anymore. Sometimes they don't have New Year's celebrations anymore cuz Muslims keep driving their cars into them and blowing stuff up. They didn't have Oktoberfest in Germany this year. Is there anything more German than October Fest? It's words that are too long to express ideas that are too complicated and Oktoberfest. Those are the two most German things in the entire world. and they don't have it anymore. And when you object to this, the libs tell you that you're being petty. We've seen this in America with a hostile takeover of a liberal secular atheist culture. We see it with the the Starbucks cups at Christmas. This was a major culture war issue for years and years and years. It's abaded a little bit in recent years, but previously you had Christmas cups at Starbucks and then as as atheism and secularism advanced, they took away some of the Christmasy stuff and it became a culture war issue. The war on Christmas and the the libs said, "Oh, you're being so silly. You're being so petty. Who cares? It's just a coffee cup. Who cares? Oh, it's just a sign in the public square." Because really, the war on Christmas was in the public square. It was in schools. It was in advertising. They changed it. It went from merry Christmas everywhere to 15 or 20 years ago to happy holidays. What's the holiday? There's no there's the only one major holiday at that time. And the major holiday is Christmas. Kwanza is totally fake. Hanukkah is a minor holiday for a religious minority. But even even if it were a major holiday for the religious religious minority, you could maybe make sense of it, but it's a minor holiday. What else is there? The new year comes later. What is what is there? It's just Christmas. But it's the holiday that cannot be named. It just it's when you object to that, you are totally justified because what what is culture? Culture is all the little things. That's what culture is. Culture is all the little things. All the little things that we just move around in that we're not even aware of most of the time. It's the statues in our town square. It's the turns of phrase that we use when we say goodbye to the cashier or when we see someone on the street that we don't even think about. That's what culture is. Formal political actions, you know, legislation, all the laws that those are those are more conscious th we're more aware of those. But culture is all the little things. It's the French fries in the McDonald's advertisement. And mass migration radically changes the culture immediately in ways that are often imperceptible, which makes it frankly even more of a threat than overt political action. It's more insidious. It's just like changing the air out in the room from nice fresh air to a myasma of feted gas that uh soon enough either you know kind of stinks up the whole place uh radically changes your culture to the point that you can't even recognize it or just totally kills your culture. You swap out the fresh air for carbon monoxide or something like that. Not good. Have I made my point forcefully enough? Okay. Speaking of foreign affairs, a an American Air Force uh fighter pilot seems to have committed treason with the Chinese. We'll get to that momentarily and whether or not we can execute him. First though, The Daily Wire is celebrating Black History Month, just probably not the way that they were hoping. Streaming right now on Daily Plus, the brand new three-part original series, Black Lives Matter, hosted by Professor Wilfr Riley. The breakout voice the world met in one of the biggest documentaries of the decade, Amiracist. Watch as he dismantles the mythology of systemic racism as it is sold today. Separating fact from fiction, data from grievance, and history from hustle. If we're going to have the conversation, we're having the whole conversation. Black History Month wanted recognition. We're giving it to them. Watch Black Lives Matter now only on Daily Wire Plus. My favorite comment yesterday is from Metal Crow 1879, who says, "President Trump should have said, "Remain seated if you agree I'm the best president ever." That's look, he basically did that. He dared them with the the bluntest kind of statements you you could I think stand up if you agree with the statement that America is chiefly for Americans and not illegals and they couldn't even but yes it would have been okay now now sit down if you really like me what do we what do we am I supposed to what do we do they told me not to stand up okay Gerald Eddie Brown Jr. 65-year-old, a reportedly elite fighter pilot, former fighter pilot. You're usually not an active fighter pilot at 65. He has just been charged with providing and conspiring to provide defense services to Chinese military pilots without authorization in violation of the Arms Export Control Act. So, according to the assistant attorney general for national security, the US Air Force trained Major Brown to be an elite fighter pilot and trust him with the defense of our nation. He now stands charged with training Chinese military pilots. When US persons, whether military or civilian, provide training to a foreign military, that activity is illegal unless they have a license from the State Department. The National Security Division will use all tools at its disposal to protect our military advantages and hold to account those who would violate the AECA. So, this guy betrayed his country. In fact, the DOJ, the FBI, is using that exact word. Uh Roman Rosavvski, assistant director of FBI's counter intelligence and espionage division, says Gerald Brown, former F-35 Lightning 2 instructor pilot with decades of experience flying US military aircraft, allegedly betrayed his country by training Chinese pilots to fight against those he swore to protect. Okay, so that word betrayal, traitor, that's that's the key word here. This guy committed as serious a crime against the country as one can commit. He he not only passed on military secrets. That's bad enough as espionage. That too is a betrayal. But he actively personally trained the chief enemy of America in military tactics using American military secrets. This is Benedict Arnold level stuff. This is as serious a betrayal of the country as there is. The minimum penalty for for treason is 5 years in prison and $10,000 according to US code. The maximum penalty is death. We used to execute traders. We used to hang traders willy-nilly. Didn't think a moment about it. Even relatively recently into the 20th century, we fried Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, didn't we? For being spies for the Soviet Union, betraying their country. We've done it. We've done it somewhat recently. 20th century was not not all that long ago, I guess. My question is, do we still have the the guts to execute traders? What is required to execute traders? Two things. one, a defense of capital punishment, which a lot of people don't have anymore. A lot of people will not defend capital punishment for moral reasons. They'll say that it's a violation of human dignity. They'll say that I don't know, they'll make all sorts of arguments that I think are a little dubious in light of the consistent teaching of the church uh for at least 1970 years or so, roughly 1950 years, somewhere around there. and uh in principle still the teaching of the church uh but but also the political history of our civilization. We we've found capital punishment to be justified because uh whosoever sheds the blood of man by man shall his blood be shed for man is made in the image and likeness of God. In other words, human dignity is actually the justification for capital punishment. It's not that capital punishment is unjust because of human dignity. The very argument for capital punishment in the Bible in the book of Genesis is from human dignity. But some people are confused about this now or they don't they they don't think that uh retribution is the chief purpose of punishment. They think it's rehabilitation or this or whatever whatever. So that's one side of it. The second thing required to execute traitors is patriotism. You you have to think that betraying your country is a serious crime. And in order to do that, you have to love your country. You have to think your country is worth protecting. You have to hold your country in really high regard. And so I know that people are confused about the death penalty today. I know they have conflicting views about that. But I I don't think we're patriotic enough to execute traitors. I don't think we're told not to love our country. The major political party in this country uh only holds the American flag under duress. They find the flag icky. And at many of their major rallies, they hold the flags of foreign nations or of weird sex stuff. You know, they'll hold the they'll fly the rainbow flag all day. They'll fly the BLM flag. They'll fly the Mexican flag, but they they don't want to fly they'll fly the Palestinian flag. They'll fly any the Colombian flag. They'll fly any number of flags. The American flag they don't like. You don't really see that much. So, they don't like that. They openly defend burning the American flag, the symbol of the country. Even many people on the right defend that we're told that this country is illegal. It's stolen land. It was it's committed all the atrocities in the world. It's has the original sin of slavery. It's blah blah blah blah blah. I don't think we can execute traitors anymore in this country. I don't think we possess the requisite moral vision or patriotism to do it. So, this guy I bet this guy probably get off five years in prison, $10,000 fine. That's my That's my prediction. Okay. Speaking of attacking one's own country, here here is an embodiment lest you think that I'm being hyperbolic here. Here's Whoopi Goldberg on the view saying that living in America is just like living in Iran. >> Let's just remember too the Iranians literally throw gay people off of buildings. They don't adhere to basic human rights. >> Listen, here's the thing. Let's not do let's not do the let's not do that because if we start with that we have we have been known in this country to tie gay folks to the >> car I'm sorry but where the Iranian regime is today hanging black people so >> it is not even the same I couldn't step foot wait that's not what you mean to say it is the same >> no it's not the year 2025 in the United States is nothing like if I step foot wearing this outfit into killed Well, they were like, I can't have my hair showing. I can't wear a skirt. I can't have my own. I'm telling you, >> I literally said it was up to the Iranian people. It is up to them. >> And that's why I am saying that it is the same. Murdering someone for their difference is not good. Whoever does it, it's not good. So that's why I said you you weren't saying what you what I heard was not what you meant. I >> I think it's very different to live in the United States in 2025 than it is to live in Iran. Not if you're black. Not for everybody. >> Not if you're black. Do not any no one at this table about being in this country. This is the greatest country in the world. >> I think All right. I think we got enough of whoopy. Look, it's the greatest country in the world. But it's just like living in Iran if you're black. Okay. So it it's funny to think that Alyssa Pharaoh, who's big lib, but she's the fake conservative on the view. She's she's the one there. She's the voice of reason. She goes, "Yeah, I just don't think that living in America today is quite like living in Iran, where you don't have any political rights and you know, women can be beaten if they show any skin and uh they're they're under this kind of deranged leadership of this califf terrorist." and it says, "No, no, well, it's yeah, but if you're black, America is just like that." And she can just say this and there's no consequence to that. So anyway, I think it's all great. My my real takeaway from this is not to invey against Whoopi and say how terrible this is. I think this is great. I want I want this to be played in campaign ads. You know what else I want to be played in campaign ads? To just to show the derangement of the Dems to show that Trump really is the party of normal. The real thing I want to play in campaign ads also Whoopy Goldberg attacking Donald Trump for the insanely rude act of honoring the US men's Olympic hockey team. >> I'm laying there and I thought what's coming in my ear and what I'm looking at in front of me are such different worlds of what we have coming forward. It was just what's worse than him are the sickopants and the acolytes who are praising him and going along with him. I mean, I'm dismissing him because he's not well. The man is not well. That his narcissistic disorder is off the charts. >> Well, you know what? He's also insanely rude because a lot of people won gold for the US. >> A lot of people won gold. I'm sorry. You know, the women's hockey team and the women and and the young skater who who comes from immigrant family. I mean, there are a lot of >> He's clearly a fan of heated rivalry. Whoopy. That's why he loves the hockey players. >> I can agree with Donald Trump. >> I'm going to leave that right there. We'll talk more about this when we come back. >> OH, ALL RIGHT. WE GOT to leave because they're sending me to commercial as I'm attacking the men's hockey team. So, what is her argument? Her argument is Trump should either honor all of the gold medal winners exactly equally or he should have picked some of the other gold medal. Maybe you should have picked the gold medal winners who hate America, who just come out at the Olympics in even just the Olympians generally, the one, forget about whether or not they win a gold medal. They come out and they say, "Yeah, America's awful. I hate America right now. Trump is terrible. We need to defend the queer community from the Trump Gestapo." And she's we're supposed to pick them or what does Whoopy Goldberg have a problem with that movie Miracle? you know, the miracle on ice hockey team, you know, the one in the 80s that that that actually this gold medal winning team uh kind of recreates, reiterates that. Is that bad? You know, Hollywood is insanely rude for making a movie about that 1980 hockey victory when other people won gold medals that year. Is that it? No. that what what Whoopi's upset about is that this is a team of of guys who not only won the gold medal at the Olympics, but who like America and who are respectful of our political institutions and who are happy to meet the president of the United States and to be honored at the State of the Union. That's what they hate. What Whoopi hates is how normal the hockey team is and how normal President Trump seems. How they're normal. This is this is one of the big knocks from the left on various people over the last decade is they're normalizing Donald Trump. Stop normalizing Trump. He's the president. He won at least two elections. I think he's normal now. But they stop normalizing. That's what she's really upset about. And I love it. They send her to break. All right, enough of this whoopy. Get out of here. Let's go back to let's go to commercial. Why? I think a lot of people look maybe they just hit the clock, but I think a lot of smarter Democrats realize it's a bad look. It's a bad look to be supporting political violence publicly. It's a bad look uh to uh you know sit down when honoring Arena Zerutka, Ireina Zerutska's mother. It's a bad look to say that America is not primarily for Americans. And it's a bad look to be the party that's against the gold medal winning US hockey team. You know, it's you don't want to be it's like it's like let you know Democrats are going to become the party of torturing little puppies or something by the end of they're just picking the wrong side of so many issues just even from the perspective of optics and I love that and I love that. I took that personally and I'm very happy and I encourage much more of it from the Dems. Okay, today is theology Thursday. The rest of the show continues now. You do not want to miss it. Become a member. Use codew check for two months free on all annual plans. What was it like, Merlin, to be alone with God? >> Is that who you think I was alone with? >> Meridin, I knew your father. I am yet convinced that he was not of this world. >> All men know of the great Talasin. You are my father. How the gods should war for my soul. >> Princess Garis, savior of our people. >> I know what the bull god offered you. I was offered the same. >> And there is a new power at work in the world. I've seen it. A god who sacrifices what he loves for us. >> We are each given only one life singer. >> No. And we're given another. >> I learned of Yazu the Christ. And I have become his follower. He's waiting on a miracle. And I think you can give him one. >> Trust in Yazu. He is the only hope for men like us. >> Fate of Britain never rests in the hands of the great light. >> Great light. Great darkness. Such things mattered to me then. >> What matters to you now, mistress of lies? >> You, nephew, >> the sword of a high king. How many lives must be lost before you accept the power you were born to wield? So cling to the promises of a god who has abandoned you. >> I cannot take up that sword again. You know what you must do. >> Great life, forgive me. The time has come to be reborn.
