[00:19] amazing um my first CPAC was in

[00:23] 2013 um at the time Turning Point USA

[00:26] was about five or six people strong um

[00:31] but for those you that don't know uh

[00:32] Turning Point USA we're a nationwide

[00:34] Grassroots student activist movement now

[00:37] present on, 1400 high school and college

[00:39] campuses across the

[00:41] country

[00:45] um when when we're not growing Turning

[00:48] Point USA every single day I'm traveling

[00:49] the country speaking on college campuses

[00:52] with the great Candace Owen sometimes I

[00:54] know she's here somewhere where's

[00:57] Candace she's done more to move the

[01:00] black community to conservative values

[01:02] in the last year than I think anyone

[01:04] does in the last 30 years so God bless

[01:06] you Candace for what you've done totally

[01:11] amazing and what we

[01:15] find is that students are not opposed to

[01:19] our ideas

[01:20] inherently is that they're not exposed

[01:22] to them at all in the first place it's

[01:25] that the left has done everything they

[01:26] possibly can to make sure our generation

[01:29] has has never heard why America is the

[01:32] greatest country ever to exist or why

[01:35] free markets are the most moral proven

[01:37] effective economic system ever

[01:39] discovered or why the Constitution is

[01:41] the greatest political document ever

[01:42] written or why abortion after birth is

[01:46] immoral and should be rejected in in

[01:48] modern and decent Society they they

[01:51] they've never heard these

[01:52] ideas and one of the things Donald Trump

[01:56] has done is he has not changed the left

[02:00] he has revealed them this is who they

[02:02] have always been they have always hated

[02:05] this

[02:06] country they have always had contempt

[02:08] for our history and what what I find is

[02:12] that we as conservatives we say far too

[02:15] often well we want the same thing as

[02:18] liberals we just have a different way of

[02:21] getting there who's heard this before I

[02:24] don't want to live in the country that

[02:26] the Socialist left wants to create we

[02:29] are not going in the same direction as

[02:30] the Democrat Party I don't want to live

[02:33] in the country where it's okay to

[02:35] execute a newborn child that's not the

[02:37] country I want to live in we do not have

[02:40] different ways of getting to the same

[02:42] place we have two different places that

[02:44] we want to get to and I'm so sick and

[02:46] tired of saying we should give the

[02:48] benefit of the

[02:49] doubt to liberals and say well they mean

[02:54] well they mean

[02:56] well if you want to fundamentally

[02:59] transform

[03:00] and destroy this country from within you

[03:03] do not mean well you do not have good

[03:06] intentions

[03:07] whatsoever if you want to suppress

[03:09] conservatives from coming on college

[03:11] campuses you do not mean well if you

[03:14] want to deplatform conservatives from

[03:16] social media you do not mean well if you

[03:19] want to continue to give $500 million a

[03:22] year to plan Parenthood you do not mean

[03:24] well if you want to stand against Israel

[03:26] you do not mean well if you want to keep

[03:28] on giving money to the pal inan

[03:30] Authority you do not mean well if you

[03:32] want to give hundreds of millions of

[03:33] dollars to the mulles in Iran you do not

[03:35] mean well if you would rather listen to

[03:37] Michael Cohen spew lies then applaud the

[03:40] the denuclearization of the Korean

[03:41] Peninsula you do not mean well I'm so

[03:44] sick and tired of saying that the

[03:46] Democrat Party and liberals mean well

[04:08] what this president has taught us is

[04:10] that when we as a movement fight we win

[04:37] possibly could to destroy a decent man

[04:41] and his family based on 30-year-old lies

[04:44] and We Were Somehow supposed to dismiss

[04:48] this amazing judicial record because of

[04:51] something that we had not heard of

[04:52] before now came into public

[04:54] light but we must understand as we go

[04:56] into the 2020 cycle

[04:59] the left knows that their attacks from

[05:03] the middle are not working they are now

[05:05] going to try to attack Donald Trump from

[05:07] within our own movement they're going to

[05:09] try to say he did not fulfill his

[05:11] promises they're going to try to say he

[05:14] is not doing what he said he's going to

[05:16] do if you want to get love from the

[05:19] left be a conservative that attacks

[05:22] Donald

[05:23] Trump if you want to get on the

[05:25] mainstream networks be a conservative

[05:29] that writes about this President you

[05:31] want to get published in all the best

[05:32] newspapers be a conservative that

[05:36] attacks the most conservative presidents

[05:39] in our

[05:40] generation

[05:42] because and you must understand those of

[05:45] us that that decide to stand and defend

[05:48] this President it can be very tough you

[05:51] will get article after article written

[05:53] about you but if you want to be loved

[05:55] you want to get invited to the cocktail

[05:57] parties you want to get all the the

[05:59] right compliments on Twitter then sure

[06:03] attack the president but we as a

[06:05] conservative movement should never ever

[06:08] try to appease the left just beloved

[06:12] ever ever we must do it is

[06:15] right do what is correct and stand for

[06:20] truth this is the most conservative

[06:23] president since Ronald Reagan if not in

[06:26] American

[06:27] history and

[06:30] he has done everything he said he is

[06:32] going to do for years I came to CPAC and

[06:34] I heard if only we had someone that

[06:36] stood up against Iran if only we could

[06:38] move the embassy if only we could cut

[06:40] corporate taxes if only we could have

[06:42] more conservatives on the judicial bench

[06:43] if only we could deregulate the economy

[06:46] if only we could rebuild our military if

[06:48] only we had someone that took

[06:49] immigration seriously if only we had

[06:51] someone that stood for the flag if only

[06:53] we had someone that finally called out

[06:55] the relationship between big business

[06:57] and big government and big Tech folks we

[06:59] have that President and he's fighting

[07:01] for us every single

[07:15] day I get asked quite often Charlie what

[07:18] do you see coming from the Next

[07:22] Generation and traveling the country and

[07:24] going to these college campuses I could

[07:26] tell you there's a lot to be concerned

[07:29] about

[07:30] the Socialist movement is growing but

[07:33] there's also a lot to be optimistic

[07:35] about and the conservative movement that

[07:38] I see growing right now is going to be

[07:40] one that understands the left because if

[07:44] you're a CO if you're a campus

[07:45] conservative out there whether you're

[07:46] part of Turning Point USA or all the

[07:48] other amazing organizations out there

[07:50] and you stay a conservative for four

[07:52] years you understand exactly who the

[07:55] left is so I see a conservative movement

[07:59] that will stand for the Dignity of all

[08:03] people

[08:05] unborn pre-born newly born all people

[08:10] that's the conservative movement that I

[08:11] see I see a conservative movement that

[08:14] is thankful to live in America not angry

[08:16] to live in America I see a conservative

[08:19] movement that stands with Israel I see a

[08:21] conservative movement that fights the

[08:25] left not the way that they fight us

[08:27] where they punch Us in the face like

[08:28] they did at used Berkeley Hayden

[08:30] Williams total hero gets punched in the

[08:32] face cuz he was tabling for Turning

[08:34] Point USA with the Leadership Institute

[08:37] but that fights the left in cultural

[08:39] institutions that understands as the

[08:41] great Andrew Breitbart said that

[08:43] politics flows Downstream from culture

[08:46] and if you gave me an option and said

[08:48] would you rather have more control in

[08:51] politics or culture which would you

[08:52] choose and I would choose culture in an

[08:54] instant because politics is short term

[08:56] culture is

[08:58] longterm and and the left has done so

[09:01] much corrosion in our society in the

[09:04] cultural realm where students are being

[09:07] taught that there's no such thing as

[09:08] objective truth that you are your own

[09:11] truth that there's no such thing as

[09:13] right and wrong you can create your own

[09:15] right and wrong and this stems from the

[09:18] universities and for years I tried to

[09:21] warn the conservative base that there

[09:24] was going to be a socialist under the

[09:26] age of

[09:27] 35 that's going to come to Congress and

[09:30] is going to try to make these ideas

[09:32] mainstream and some people didn't they

[09:34] kind of laughed at me well they're here

[09:36] and there's more than one of them

[09:37] because what happens in Congress what

[09:40] happens on campus will soon come to

[09:42] Congress college campuses are a

[09:45] harbinger of things to come college

[09:47] campuses can tell you they're the

[09:49] leading indicator of exactly the

[09:51] ideology and the viewpoints that will

[09:54] soon be held mainstream in media pop

[09:57] culture and in Congress

[09:59] and so what we do the fight that I've

[10:02] decided to engage in is one that will

[10:05] either make or break Western

[10:07] Civilization because our generation the

[10:09] Next Generation generation Z if we have

[10:11] a generation that has contempt for

[10:12] America it doesn't matter if they want

[10:14] high or low taxes if we have a

[10:16] generation that hates this country that

[10:18] believes that we're racist misogynistic

[10:20] and homophobic it doesn't matter all the

[10:22] rest is

[10:23] irrelevant and if you think you're

[10:25] oppressed because you live in America

[10:28] you're wrong

[10:30] you have to be taught that you're

[10:31] oppressed if you think you're oppressed

[10:33] because you live in America and so

[10:36] folks in closing I'll say this we have

[10:39] the one of the greatest blessings ever

[10:41] to be living in this country at this

[10:43] time there's a culture War Brewing right

[10:45] now and it's a culture War different

[10:47] it's a different one from the 80s and

[10:49] 90s it's one fundamental question what

[10:52] is America is America a place for

[10:55] victims or for Victors is America a

[10:58] place where you can achieve your dreams

[11:01] or dwell in mediocrity is America a

[11:04] socialist place or is America a place

[11:06] that Embraces freedom and is a refuge

[11:08] for those that have fleed fled

[11:10] totalitarian Marxist dictatorships that

[11:12] will be the question of the 2020

[11:14] election it will be the most important

[11:16] culture war in American history and we

[11:19] will win thank you guys so much it was a
