Turning Point USA Finally Responds to Candace Owens' Allegations About Charlie Kirk's Murder and Inner Circle

[00:15] know. Turning Point USA has finally

[00:19] snapped back. At who, you might ask? No,

[00:23] you wouldn't be because you will know

[00:24] exactly who I'm referring to. Candice

[00:27] Owens.

[00:29] For nearly three months, they have

[00:30] allowed her claims to go unadressed. And

[00:32] I get why. Why lower yourself to such

[00:36] rubbish? But finally, even for them, too

[00:39] much. [snorts]

[00:41] They've hit back.

[00:44] They've denied everything.

[00:46] They've talked about the hurt it has

[00:48] caused to everyone around Charlie.

[00:52] and they have set the challenge, thrown

[00:54] the ball back into her court, as she

[00:56] likes to say. Come on and address every

[00:59] single claim. Will she? I suspect not

[01:03] because how can she? But we will watch

[01:06] with interest. Finally, they have shut

[01:10] her down. Have a look.

[01:14] For the past two and a half months,

[01:16] there is a topic that has flooded our

[01:18] freedom inbox. It has been non-stop on

[01:20] social media, but which we have almost

[01:22] totally avoided on this show. You

[01:25] probably already know what I'm talking

[01:27] about, which shows just how ubiquitous

[01:30] it has been.

[01:32] Ever since Charlie's murder, Candace

[01:34] Owens has leveled a flood of allegations

[01:37] against people at Turning Point USA,

[01:40] people at Turning Point Action, and

[01:42] people who work for this show. She has

[01:44] made them against some of Charlie's

[01:45] closest friends and against some of his

[01:47] most dedicated employees.

[01:50] She has suggested that Michael McCoy,

[01:52] Charlie's chief of staff, knew Charlie

[01:54] would be murdered, was happy that he

[01:56] died, and stayed silent because he was

[01:58] told he would be the next Charlie. She

[02:01] has suggested Michael is not his real

[02:03] name. It is I have seen his birth

[02:05] certificate myself. She has called it

[02:07] suspicious that Mikey's wife, who works

[02:09] at Turning Point, helped plan the campus

[02:11] tour event where Charlie was murdered,

[02:13] which she didn't, by the way. She

[02:15] doesn't work on campus events. Candace

[02:18] has suggested the Utah Valley University

[02:20] event was unusual and its details

[02:22] suggested a quote inside job. She has

[02:26] claimed that foreign aircraft have

[02:27] followed Erica Kirk around the country

[02:29] and that Turning Point has lied about

[02:32] this happening. She has accused us of

[02:34] lying about Charlie wanting Erica to

[02:36] take over for him if he died. She has

[02:39] suggested Charlie's security team

[02:41] intentionally denied him first aid after

[02:44] the shooting to ensure that he died. She

[02:47] has raised suspicions about the head of

[02:48] our technical team because he took an SD

[02:51] card out of a camera. She has spread

[02:54] absurd claims that Tyler Boer, who we

[02:57] just had on the show, sexually abuses

[02:59] male interns. She has suggested that

[03:02] TPUSA faith affiliated pastors like

[03:05] theologian Frank Turk, who we'll have on

[03:06] in a moment, and pastor Rob McCoy, are

[03:09] part of a military quote infiltration of

[03:12] Turning Point, either because they are

[03:14] veterans or because they have family

[03:16] members who are. Even if not everyone

[03:19] has been named specifically though,

[03:20] Candace has effectively tred everyone

[03:23] here with complicity in Charlie's death

[03:25] by repeatedly saying he was quote

[03:28] betrayed by quote everyone. She has said

[03:32] Charlie's murder quote had to be

[03:34] approved by Charlie's friends and then

[03:36] suggested those friends might have her

[03:38] murdered too for quote knowing the

[03:41] truth. She has made claims of financial

[03:44] impropriety and fraud at turning point

[03:46] adding up into the millions of dollars

[03:48] which again is not true. Charlie made

[03:51] sure the organization was audited by a

[03:53] third party every year. He personally

[03:55] reviewed and he signed off on every

[03:57] expense report and literally every

[04:00] single bill paid by the organization

[04:02] down to a single United States dollar.

[04:06] We have never missed a 990 deadline.

[04:09] Candace has made other stranger

[04:11] allegations involving French

[04:12] paratroopers in maroon shirts, uh

[04:14] Egyptian Air Force planes flying out of

[04:16] Provo, Utah, and potential underground

[04:19] assassins traveling through unseen

[04:21] tunnels. At this at one point in early

[04:23] November, she started wildly throwing

[04:25] suspicion on members of Utah Valley's

[04:28] soccer team for wearing hoodies. I could

[04:32] go on. There is always something new

[04:34] coming up and none of it ever pans out

[04:36] because from the start there has been

[04:39] nothing there. The attacks and

[04:42] allegations from Candace are either lies

[04:44] or they are innuendos thrown around with

[04:47] a total reckless disregard for the truth

[04:50] so that Candace can manipulate and

[04:52] string along an audience of people who

[04:54] don't realize they are being played.

[04:57] Instead of being able to grieve properly

[04:59] after one of the most heinous murders in

[05:01] American history, a murder many of us

[05:03] had to witness, my friends have had to

[05:06] endure harassment from people who have

[05:09] gotten whipped up by what Candace is

[05:10] saying. In fact, I would say we have

[05:13] suffered more harassment from these

[05:15] people than we have from Antifa

[05:17] supporters who overtly celebrate

[05:20] Charlie's murder. And just like a lot of

[05:22] those Antifa members, many of these

[05:24] people take this delight in how gross

[05:27] and unpleasant they can be. What our

[05:29] friends have had to endure is not funny

[05:32] and it's not insignificant. It is evil.

[05:35] I have seen it.

[05:37] For months, we have received hundreds,

[05:39] thousands, I suspect, emails and calls

[05:42] asking us to respond. People have wanted

[05:44] us to invite Candace on the show. But

[05:47] for a long time, our approach was to say

[05:50] nothing. We did that for several

[05:52] reasons. First, we've first, we thought

[05:55] that her prearications were so absurd

[05:58] that nobody would believe them. We

[06:00] shouldn't have to answer questions about

[06:03] secret tunnels or Egyptian Air Force

[06:05] planes. That sort of thing is just it's

[06:07] beneath contempt to respond to. The

[06:10] second reason we've said so little,

[06:12] though, is because there's a good rule

[06:13] of thumb, which Charlie followed. Do not

[06:15] feed the trolls. Focus on the mission.

[06:18] Reviving America, uplifting young

[06:19] people, making heaven crowded. Don't

[06:22] give heir to people who want to tear you

[06:24] down. And so discord. Lastly, we didn't

[06:28] respond because

[06:31] Charlie always viewed Candace as a

[06:32] friend and we were holding out hope that

[06:35] she would return that friendship and

[06:37] stop what she was doing.

[06:40] But a week from now, it's going to be 3

[06:42] months since Charlie's murder. Candace

[06:45] has not changed her behavior. She has

[06:48] continued to spread falsehoods about

[06:50] Charlie's friends, and she continues to

[06:53] concoct new ones, about new people.

[06:55] She's using these falsehoods to enrich

[06:57] herself while dividing the conservative

[07:00] movement at an absolutely critical time

[07:02] for this country. And far too often, we

[07:06] here have heard from ordinary people,

[07:08] people who loved Charlie and who Charlie

[07:10] loved so much in return. These people

[07:12] have expressed the worry that we are

[07:14] staying silent out of cowardice or as

[07:16] some sort of tacit admission that some

[07:18] of the attacks are true. Neither is the

[07:20] case. Our silence has never been and it

[07:24] will never be equal to complacency or

[07:27] approval. Still, we decided Charlie

[07:31] would not allow this to go on. Charlie

[07:33] was not a coward. Charlie was a fighter.

[07:36] Charlie would not allow someone to

[07:38] spread lies about the people closest to

[07:41] him with impunity, and he would feel

[07:43] ashamed if other people were stepping up

[07:45] to defend his friends while he never did

[07:47] so himself.

[07:50] Candace has mentioned several times that

[07:53] the ball is in our court. So, here's

[07:56] what is going to happen. In the near

[07:58] future, there will be a live stream here

[08:00] in Phoenix where we address in a clear

[08:03] and comprehensive way the claims and

[08:05] accusations, the false accusations that

[08:08] have been made against Charlie's family,

[08:10] friends, and the people here at Turning

[08:12] Point. We plan to walk through

[08:14] everything carefully and thoroughly. If

[08:16] Candace is available, we would sincerely

[08:18] welcome her participation in that live

[08:21] stream at our studio here in Phoenix. At

[08:24] this point, we believe the ball is back

[08:27] in her court. Our motivation for doing

[08:30] this is not out of any obligation to

[08:32] Candace. It is about honoring Charlie.

[08:35] We feel a deep responsibility to protect

[08:37] his legacy, his work, and the truth. I

[08:39] feel that I owe Charlie everything in my

[08:43] life. It I feel it immensely.

[08:47] And that is why we feel compelled to

[08:49] speak clearly and openly now. We'll have
