Baron Coleman Debriefs Candace Owens' Erika Kirk Meeting and Exposes Frank Turek's Involvement in Charlie Kirk Investigation

Baron Coleman offered a detailed breakdown of Candace Owens' sit-down with Erika Kirk, challenging claims made during their four-and-a-half-hour Nashville meeting. While Owens chose to let Erika save face, Baron held nothing back, accusing TPUSA of lying about text messages, security footage, and Tyler Robinson's evidence. He dissected Blake Neff's shifting timeline, exposed contradictions in Mikey McCoy's call log, and explained why the prosecution's case looked weaker than advertised. Baron also flagged Frank Turek's reappearance in the investigation, questioned the debunked Turkey Tom video TPUSA continued to cite, and outlined how federal informants are recruited, suggesting George Zinn may have been one. This episode connected months of investigative threads and reinforced Baron's position: the official story doesn't hold up.

Opening Statement: Why Baron Refused the Bad Cop Hat

Baron Coleman opened his show admitting he nearly wore his infamous "bad cop hat" — a decision he ultimately reconsidered, though he promised to hold nothing back. This episode, he said, had been one of his most anticipated, following Candace Owens' debrief of her in-person meeting with Erika Kirk. Baron framed the night's content around a principle from Dale Carnegie's *How to Win Friends and Influence People*: letting someone save face. Candace, Baron acknowledged, had done exactly that. But Baron made clear he had no personal ties to the Kirk family and no obligation to offer the same courtesy.

"Charlie Kirk was not a close personal friend of mine," Baron stated. "I've never met Erika Kirk, and she didn't call me. I think she's lying. And tonight we're going to talk about why."

The Erika Kirk Meeting: Baron's Take on Candace's Debrief

Baron walked through key moments from Candace Owens' Monday debrief, offering his own interpretation of what transpired during the Nashville meeting. According to Candace, Erika Kirk and TPUSA's COO flew to meet her for four and a half hours to discuss the investigation. Candace chose to give Erika the benefit of the doubt on several points. Baron did not.

He began with the text messages. Candace reported that Erika acknowledged Charlie Kirk communicated on Signal and Telegram, and that messages existed confirming warnings the night before his death. Erika claimed Andrew Kolvet and Dan Flood received messages — but Erika told Candace the message Dan Flood received said "the left is going to kill me," not "they are going to kill me" as Andrew Kolvet had previously stated.

Baron immediately flagged this as deceptive. "Why do they want to know if she has a concrete copy?" he asked. "Because they were lying about what it said. They wanted to know, 'Are you going to burn us and release these after we lie to you, or have you not seen them?' I'm confident of that."

He argued the change from "they" to "the left" was significant. "Who refers to the left as 'they'? We know who 'they' is. It's anti-Semitic to say 'they.' There's no other explanation."

Erika Kirk's Claim She Was 'Learning Things'

Baron seized on a brief but critical moment: Erika's explanation for why she didn't ask Candace to stop investigating earlier. According to Candace, Erika said she was "actually learning things from the show."

Baron wasn't buying it. "You didn't ask her to stop because you were learning things. Why did you switch? You stopped learning things. So Candace was honest initially, had good intel initially, but somehow her ability to get intel melted apart into little pieces and all of a sudden she was trash and evil and harming people and attacking your family."

He concluded: "The reason you didn't ask her to stop is you didn't think she was going to figure it out. And as soon as she got close, all of a sudden, we have to jump on a plane, fly to Nashville, sit down in the living room, and lie to her face."

Rob McCoy and the TPUSA Faith Staff Page

Candace reported during her debrief that she learned Rob McCoy does not actually work for Turning Point USA in any capacity — a claim Baron immediately fact-checked live on air. He pulled up the TPUSA Faith staff page, which listed Rob McCoy as co-founder, directly beneath Charlie Kirk.

"This is the staff page for TPUSA Faith," Baron said, displaying it on screen. "You see that? On the staff page, it says Rob McCoy... co-founder of TPUSA Faith. The previous one is Charlie Kirk. Excuse Candace for thinking that appearing on the staff page — it's literally tpusafaith.com/staff — excuse her for thinking that Rob McCoy might be on the staff, especially when it calls him the co-founder."

Baron questioned why Erika would make this claim when the evidence contradicted it so clearly.

Superman Bones and the Frangible Round

Baron revisited Andrew Kolvet's post about Charlie Kirk's "titanium bones" — the claim that Charlie's bone density was so impressive the bullet was trapped by his spine and recovered just beneath the skin. Erika's explanation at the meeting was that Andrew went rogue and wasn't authorized to say that.

Baron didn't believe it. "There's no chance Andrew went and talked to the surgeon without anybody else from TPUSA knowing, without the COO or without Erika Kirk knowing, went and got a quote and put this up on his social media account. Not a chance. It did not happen."

He noted that Candace now had a source claiming no real bullet was recovered — that it was a frangible round, which disintegrates on impact. "This right here is a real problem," Baron said. "What it says to me is they were lying from the very beginning."

Brian Harpole: Fired or Still on Payroll?

Candace mentioned during her debrief that she didn't believe Brian Harpole, the security contractor in the blue shirt on stage, still worked for TPUSA. Baron pointed out he had seen images from Washington, D.C., in October or November showing someone who looked remarkably like Brian Harpole protecting Erika Kirk.

"If he was fired, when? Why? Was there cause?" Baron asked. "I think when there's an investigation like this, we're due answers, particularly when this guy has made multiple now public appearances on different podcasts."

The Prosecution's Evidence Problem

Baron highlighted what he called the most important revelation from Candace's debrief: Erika Kirk's lawyer told Candace that the prosecution does not share evidence with the victim's family at this stage — and won't until May. That means Erika Kirk has no more information than what's in the publicly available charging affidavit.

"What you have, what we have seen is what they have," Baron repeated from Candace's summary. "You read Tyler Robinson's messages that don't have any dates on them. Tyler Robinson writing out everything and the clean alibi. That's what they have."

Baron explained the legal standard for a charging affidavit: "It's not evidence. The evidence will be put forth at a probable cause hearing. What they have is an officer's impression based on the things he saw that day or the couple of days after. That's all they have. A single officer's impression."

He pointed to Tyler Robinson's courtroom demeanor — smiling, laughing — as potentially explained by his lawyers telling him the prosecution's case was weak. "They don't have anything. They don't have you on campus. They don't have you pulling the trigger. They don't have you taking the shot. They don't have you on the roof."

The Firearms Expert TPUSA Ignored

Baron dissected Candace's discussion of a firearms expert who witnessed the shooting and reported seeing someone in black tactical gear with a small gun and no recoil. TPUSA's response, according to Erika, was that investigators might have clearer video footage and didn't need to talk to him.

Baron called this "a terrible rebuttal." He argued the existing footage showed a figure so small it looked like "four atoms stacked on top of each other," and the defense could destroy the prosecution's case by calling the firearms expert as a witness.

"I am stunned that Tyler Robinson's defense team has not reached out to that guy," Baron said. "That could be your best witness. It's bordering on legal malpractice."

Blake Neff's Shifting Timeline

Baron played two clips of Blake Neff describing the moments after the shooting — one from September 11, one from a later rehabilitation appearance with Candace. In the first, Blake said he immediately sent a Telegram message to lock down Turning Point, then called his mom. No mention of Mikey McCoy.

In the second, Blake described meeting up with Mikey, whose lip was quivering, watching Mikey call Erika, then calling his own mom around the same time.

"He's now got two different stories," Baron said. "Story one, the day after Charlie Kirk was neutralized, he didn't mention Mikey's name once. There was no quivering lip. There was no bubbly Mikey. We just got Blake sent a text on Telegram."

Baron accused Blake of being "rolled out" to provide Mikey McCoy an alibi after suspicions arose from video of Mikey walking away from the scene.

Mikey McCoy's Call Log

Baron displayed what he said was Mikey McCoy's call log, provided by Erika Kirk during the meeting. According to the log, Mikey called his wife one minute after the shooting at 12:23, stayed on the phone for two minutes, then added Erika to a three-way call for less than two minutes, went back to his wife, called Rob McCoy, and cycled back to his wife again.

"This whole thing took place in 10 minutes," Baron said. "There was a three-way phone call. And your original story was you weren't with him, that you met up with some members of the team later. That's not a distinction you would accidentally make, Blake."

Baron walked through the mechanics of a three-way call to illustrate how implausible Blake's "90 seconds" timeline was.

Egyptian Planes and Israel

Baron agreed with Candace's assessment that the mysterious Egyptian planes were likely cover for flights in and out of Israel. He noted he had reported this exact theory two weeks earlier, based on an email from a pilot who described how the U.S. Air Force files flight plans to Cairo, turns off transponders, flies to Nevatim Air Force Base in Israel, then turns transponders back on in Egyptian airspace.

"I agree with Candace here. I agree with it so much I reported it two weeks ago," Baron said.

Frank Turek Back on the Corkboard

Baron announced he had moved Frank Turek back onto his investigative "corkboard" — the metaphorical conspiracy board covered in red string connecting suspects. Turek had been on the board early in the investigation due to his baseball hat and hand signals at the UVU event, then taken off. Now he was back.

"Every time he goes on a podcast, I connect him with more red twine and his picture is starting to look like a crazy cat lady with a whole ball of twine wrapped around it," Baron said.

Baron promised to cover Turek's recent statements in detail, suggesting they aligned suspiciously with TPUSA's talking points.

Turkey Tom and the Fed Setup

Baron revisited a Turkey Tom video TPUSA planned to cite as evidence that Tyler Robinson's text messages were authentic. Baron had debunked the video in October, calling it a clear case of a YouTuber being played by a federal informant.

"Turkey Tom is a guy. He's a cool guy. There's nothing wrong with him, but he totally got played by a Fed," Baron said. He pointed to photos in the video showing Lance Twiggs' journal — taken from above, not casually by a friend.

"No friend of mine has ever gone into my journal and taken pictures. Nor have I ever gone into a friend's journal and taken pictures. You know who takes pictures of journals? Feds. Feds take pictures of journals after a high-profile killing."

Baron expressed disbelief that Andrew Kolvet and Blake Neff would cite the Turkey Tom video as credible, calling it "disgustingly obvious" Fed work.

George Zinn and How Patsies Are Made

Baron played a clip of Viva Frei explaining how George Zinn — arrested the day of the shooting for claiming to be the shooter and found with child exploitation material on his phone — might have been part of a Discord chat with Tyler Robinson and others.

Baron seized on this. "He just outlined how people become patsies," Baron said. "He suggested that this thing might have started with a bunch of people looking at dirty pictures of kids. Who sometimes shows up in those chats? Feds. That is how they get patsies."

Baron explained the leverage: "Would you like to go to prison for having what Viva Frei called CP on your phone? Or would you like to go to prison for an accomplice to a murder? It's your call. Which would you prefer?"

He accused Viva Frei of outlining one of the ways patsies are developed without recognizing the irony of what he was saying.

The $1,000 Giveaway Winner

Baron conducted a live giveaway using a YouTube comment randomizer, selecting a winner from viewers who commented "win" during the stream. After some technical confusion, he announced the winner: @timowens211, with @Arizonagirl80 as the backup winner. He instructed the winner to email realbaronpodcast@gmail.com to claim the Amazon gift card, with the requirement of filling out a W-9 form for IRS compliance.

Conclusion: Bad Cop to Candace's Good Cop

Baron concluded by reaffirming his role as the "bad cop" to Candace Owens' "good cop." While Candace allowed Erika Kirk to save face, Baron made clear he would continue calling out what he saw as lies, contradictions, and cover-ups.

"I don't mind being Candace's bad cop. She can be the good cop. She can let Erika save face. I'm telling you right now, Andrew Kolvet is either a liar or he is covering for liars. Period. End of story."

Baron urged Andrew Kolvet directly: "You're better than that. It's not who you are. It's not how you were raised."
