Candace Owens arrived at her congressional testimony with a mission: to expose the greatest scandal in American politics. As she sat before the House Oversight Committee, her 75-year-old grandfather watching from behind her, Owens made clear that journalists confused about her presence had missed the point entirely. She herself was a victim of a hate crime in high school, but the media showed no interest in her story because she doesn't fit their preferred narrative for black Americans.
Owens' grandfather grew up on a sharecropping farm in the segregated South under Democrat Jim Crow laws. At five years old, his first job was laying tobacco to dry in a southern attic. He picked cotton and experienced visits from the Democrat terrorist organization of that era, the Ku Klux Klan, who regularly shot bullets into his home. Yet during Owens' formative years growing up in his house, not once did he tell her she couldn't achieve something because of her skin color. He taught faith in God, family, and hard work instead of victimhood.
No adult in good conscience could argue America is more racist today than during her grandfather's childhood, yet these narratives flood the public sphere every four years before presidential elections. Meanwhile, the real crises destroying black communities receive no committee hearings: 75% of black boys in California don't meet state reading standards, in Baltimore five high schools and one middle school had not a single student proficient in math or reading in 2016, and the single motherhood rate exploded from 23% in the 1960s to 74% today.
The Abortion Crisis No One Wants to Discuss
Owens challenged the selective outrage of movements like Black Lives Matter, noting their focus on approximately 16 unarmed black men shot by police in 2016 while ignoring 17-18 million black babies aborted since 1973. Nine hundred black babies are aborted every single day. In New York City, the abortion rate actually exceeds the birth rate among black Americans, meeting the United Nations definition of genocide.
She pointed out that a black person has a higher chance of being struck by lightning than being shot unarmed by police, and that white men and Hispanic men are statistically more likely to be shot and killed by police officers than black men. Yet when Governor Andrew Cuomo lit up buildings celebrating late-term abortions, the silence was deafening. If Black Lives Matter changed their focus to black babies and nine-month abortions, Owens declared she would wear their t-shirt tomorrow. Democrat policies, not white nationalism, created these devastating statistics.
The Congressional Hearing as Political Theater
Owens identified the hearing's true purpose: fear mongering, power, and control as a preview of Democrat 2020 election strategy. Democrats blame Facebook, Google, and Twitter because social media disrupted their monopoly on information. They believe movements like Blexit, which inspires black Americans to leave the Democrat Party, would never exist without these platforms, and Donald Trump wouldn't be president.
The rise in white nationalism statistics, she explained, results from manipulated data, widening definitions of hate crimes, and increasing the number of reporting agencies. The goal is scaring blacks, Hispanics, gays, and Muslims into censoring dissenting opinions and helping Democrats regain narrative control they lost with Trump's victory.
If Congress genuinely cared about white nationalism, Owens argued, they would hold hearings on Antifa, the far-left violent white gang who determined she, a black woman, wasn't fit to sit in a Philadelphia restaurant. They chased her out, threw water and eggs at her, and yelled "race traitor" at the black and Hispanic police officers protecting her. The leftist media remained silent.
Defending Nationalism Against Dishonest Attacks
Representative Ted Lieu attempted to discredit Owens by playing a deceptively edited clip where she discussed nationalism and Hitler. Owens called out his dishonesty, explaining he deliberately cut off the question she was answering to create a false narrative. The actual question asked whether she believed nationalism was bad. Her response was that Hitler should not be characterized as a nationalist because he was a homicidal psychopathic maniac who killed his own people, which no true nationalist would do.
She found it deeply offensive, especially since she works for Prager University run by an Orthodox Jew and sat on a plane for 18 hours to attend the embassy opening in Jerusalem while not a single Democrat stood up for it. Lieu's tactic mirrored how media dishonestly edits Donald Trump to create different narratives. His refusal to let her respond revealed everything about where political discourse stands today.
The Antifa Breakfast Ambush in Philadelphia
Owens and Charlie Kirk recounted their terrifying experience at Green Eggs Cafe in Philadelphia. They were simply having a breakfast meeting to discuss Turning Point USA business when they noticed someone inside wearing Antifa gear. Thirty minutes later, a mob descended on the restaurant. People inside had sent out what Kirk called "a bat signal" alerting others that conservatives were present.
The speed of mobilization at 8:00 a.m. on a Monday morning suggested this was a well-funded, organized effort likely serving as these individuals' actual employment. The entirely white Antifa group used whistles and bullhorns, screaming at the mostly black police force, calling them racist and white supremacists while labeling Owens a "race traitor." The scene evoked the civil rights era with peaceful black police officers being harassed by angry white protesters.
Owens and Kirk stood their ground briefly while police did an exceptional job protecting them. Water and eggs were thrown, but they refused to retaliate. They weren't playing the victim card but warning America this represents the new face of the Democrat Party, directly following Maxine Waters' orders to confront Trump administration officials in public spaces.
Rejecting Victim Status and the Oppression Olympics
The Left promotes virtue in victimhood, Owens explained, encouraging people to compete in "oppression Olympics" where a black woman who is lesbian and disabled wins. But there are no awards for being a victim. This mentality only allows Democrats to steal votes, divide communities, and guarantee emotional rather than rational responses.
Progress is not a skin tone; progress is a number. For too long, black Americans were convinced that photo ops with Beyoncé and Jay-Z meant something while Chicago worsened under President Obama, who came from there. You cannot dispute these facts with emotional appeals to a black president's symbolic importance when his policies failed to deliver results.
Comparing Obama and Trump on Black America
When challenged about Trump's lack of focus on black America, Owens flipped the question: if Trump isn't focusing on issues affecting black Americans despite record low unemployment, then Obama certainly wasn't either since the numbers prove blacks are doing better under Trump's administration. After eight years of Obama, 13 million more Americans were on food stamps and eight million more lived in poverty.
Under Trump, 14 states have record low unemployment for all Americans, including record lows for black Americans, Hispanic Americans, and women. The Black Caucus sat silent when Trump announced historic black unemployment but stood to applaud Obama's food stamp increases. That represents a disgusting prioritization of dependency over empowerment.
Diversity is not skin color, Owens insisted. The illusion the Left sells is that someone matching your gender or race automatically has your best interests at heart. Barack Obama proved that completely false. She's not interested in the color of people's skin in the White House but what they actually accomplish for American communities.
The Great Society and Destruction of Black Families
Democrats hijacked education and destroyed black families through LBJ's Great Society, removing black fathers so black youth would look to hip-hop culture and athletes for direction instead of strong male role models. Hollywood developed an underground system of conservative thinkers who fear losing their jobs, which is why Kanye West's public support of different thinking was so significant and brave.
Strong male figures saved Owens from liberalism. Her grandfather's presence in her life provided the foundation that protected her from the victim mentality permeating society. The feminist movement tries to destroy gender roles by turning women into men and men into women, breaking down the family unit. The 77% single motherhood rate in the black community demonstrates the devastating consequences, yet no one discusses white supremacy causing that; Democrat policies did.
The First Young Black Leadership Summit
Turning Point USA organized the first-ever Young Black Leadership Summit in Washington DC, bringing over 400 young black leaders together despite critics and consultants claiming it couldn't be done. The last-minute influx of interest meant they could have filled five to ten times the spots available. Owens and Brandon Tatum created this opportunity to expose attendees to conservative ideas, bringing them resources and speakers like Dr. Ben Carson and Larry Elder who are routinely mocked in black communities.
Major hurdles facing the black community include lack of access to different ideas, being locked in a bubble. Past conservative outreach was often too intellectual, making it easy for the Left to mock figures like Dr. Ben Carson and Condoleezza Rice through television skits. Owens adopted a more colloquial, fighting approach, making content feel like talking to a brother or sister, taking back ground lost in the culture war by mocking the Left just as they mock conservatives.
Reparations: Insulting Hypocrisy
The reparations discussion exemplifies how stupid Democrats think the black community is. They've spent a decade claiming voter ID laws would prevent black Americans from voting because they're supposedly too incompetent to obtain identification, even though you can't do anything in society without ID. Yet somehow with reparations, they expect black Americans to produce ancestral paperwork dating back to slavery to prove lineage.
The astounding hypocrisy amazes Owens each time. It's an Olympic sprint of who can be more insulting, and they outdo themselves constantly. Reparations means assembling committees for a "full-throated conversation" that will never result in action, just like every election cycle when the black community gets promised things that never materialize. Hillary Clinton's hot sauce pandering and AOC's "black accent" represent the same condescending approach.
It's time to get off this hamster wheel and realize Democrats have no interest in repairing anything. They only want power and believe Trump took it from them, so they'll say anything and put on any accent to regain it.
Free Markets and Fighting Socialism
Turning Point USA believes in free markets as the greatest deliverer of economic justice, rewarding people based on how hard they work and how great their ideas are through a merit-based system. Socialism doesn't work; 100 million people have been killed over the last 100 years under socialist regimes, yet leftists claim it will be different in America.
People aren't fleeing Venezuela for America because socialism is great. Cuban Americans and Venezuelan Americans think discussing socialism seriously is insane. Owens challenges anyone to name one left politician who has said anything positive about America in the last four years. They're hostile toward American values, wanting to divide and transform the country into something unrecognizable.
If you were born in America, you already won the lottery. The ideological civil war happening in the black community pits those focused on the past, shouting about slavery, against those focused on their futures. The victim mentality embraced by overly privileged Americans who utilize their ancestors' history with more emotion than those ancestors had while living through actual oppression is embarrassing.
The Cultural Shift Coming to America
This cultural shift will happen. The Left's attempt to shut down and demonize conservatives is ramping up, but their house of cards is collapsing. Politics is downstream from culture, and if they lose the culture war, they lose everything. They cannot afford black people thinking differently; if the black vote moves even 5%, the Democrat Party is finished.
When black icons and stars speak out against the Left, they face vicious attacks. Tom Arnold went on a sexist, brutal, hateful, racist Twitter tirade against Owens after Kanye West praised her thinking. Former Democratic operatives call her a phony and fraud because she threatens their narrative control.
Owens is viciously attacked by the Left because they detest any minority who finds the audacity to speak out differently. They claim to champion women and minority voices until those voices challenge their orthodoxy. Why? Because she discusses real issues impacting the black community like illiteracy rates, while they obsess over white supremacy and white nationalism to keep America divided. Their party sustains itself only through perpetual warfare between Americans.
We are all Patriots, all part of this great nation, all Americans. The courage required to speak truth to power at the highest levels comes from refusing victim status and choosing to be victors instead. The answer is showing up in force and not allowing radicals to regain control through manipulation, fear, and the same tired election strategies deployed every four years with handouts and manufactured crises. The biggest scandal in American politics remains Democrats conning minorities into believing they are perpetual victims, ensuring failure through racial division and class warfare central to their platform.

I will say it again if black lives matter change their initiative to black babies if they change their initiative to talking about what's happening in New York with nine month abortions I would plan what is this event and what are we gonna be seeing the next couple days here in DC you know we had received so much interest over a period of time in this sort of youth black conservative movement it the resources to get two different ideas to sort of being locked inside of a bubble and having them listen to speakers that they perhaps haven't heard before dr. ben Carson Larry elder people who are routinely mocked in our community so this is the first ever opportunity to do that in DC and we're really excited that's happening this weekend Charlie what are you hoping that the president gets out of these interactions well I first wanted to take a step back and just give Candace Owens credit for changing the national conversation around these issues from a conservative kind of perspective over the last year when I first met Candace one of the first things she said it she said Charlie I think we can have a young black Leadership Summit that can be a lot bigger than any of the you know pundits or the consultants would ever dream and I mean tomorrow 400-plus young black leaders from across the country that's an accomplishment that especially of a conservative you know tilt if you will and he never could have been much higher and the left I think that's right and so the number could have been higher and it was the last-minute influx of interest and we had probably 5 X 10 applicants and an increase but what Candace Owens and our urban engagement director Brandon Tatum have done at Turning Point USA to really garner more interest amongst the black community for conservative values I think it's worth having the conversation and it's something that with given all the recent you know news and attention around these issues I think is something that will be quite interesting tomorrow you know there's there's obviously a bit of skepticism as long as I've been in the in the game of conservative politics as long as I've been a conservative which is probably about sophomore year of high school there have been conversations about how do conservatives went over more of the black community there have been some prominent leaders you mentioned dr. ben Carson and others who have come forward and have tried to get this conversation going what are you seeing that's different now really but why is it to Charlie's point he's saying that you've changed the conversation how and why is the conversation different it's funny that you say that because I did I was able to meet with dr. ben Carson early on this year and we spoke about that like what are the differences why are people paying a little more attention now and I think that and to his credit in the past the conversation was almost so intellectual that was hard people to digest and process and understand and because the left had won the coal or it was easy for them to mock them you know to see a skit where perhaps dr. ben Carson or dr. Condoleezza Rice from being mocked and I think I'm a little more of a fighter definitely in terms of starting my channel on YouTube and wanting it to be colloquial and wanting it to feel familiar lucky we're talking to your brother and sister and sort of taking back some of the turf that was lost on the culture war by making fun of people on the left and this thing whether they make fun of us I think that that sort of helped bridge the gap and make people more interested in having the discussion does it bother you that there's no prominent African Americans in the White House itself - sure there is Jurong dr. ben Carson is part of the executive branch was not true you know that's well within the White House Iran is an executive with whatever his role he is a Turk he's a DAP which is a deputy assistant to the president of States to the top tier so that's not true there are other individuals in the White House well I'm on the back to answer your questions so yeah and one thing that we always speak when we when we speak to in service about is we have to stop believing in the solution that because somebody is black they represent my interests we learned that lesson via Barack Obama I mean he was in in the White House for eight years and didn't do much for the black community so I'm not interested in the color of people's skin I'm interested in what they do I'm really this have these delusional responses just admit that the people blacks are doing better under the trump presidency that's totally fine but it's this refusal to admit it and laughs you're gonna start cool I don't know why people like being oppressed so weirdest thing I've ever heard I love oppression we're oppressed 400 years of slavery Jim Crow which by the way none of you guys live do your grandparents and it's embarrassing that you utilize you utilize their history you utilize their history and you come in here with more emotion than ever had when they were living through it more emotion than they ever had when they were living through it it's embarrassing you're not living through any thing right now you're overly privileged American and on Saturday Kanye West praised Owens on Twitter and he wrote this quote I love the way Candace Owens thinks but not every one of Owens is a fan with compliments and support Kanye West's support look what Tom Arnold went on a sexist brutal vicious hateful racist tirade on Twitter here's just some of what he tweeted aside from being an insane all right raised pimp Candice owns things Donald Trump is literally the Messiah not you at Kanye West so you might want to reconsider he also wrote at real Kondos good luck while glomming on to Kanye West his family already told him you were a phony and a fraud a former Democratic bad and so we kind of progressed through breakfast having fun you know just going through you know Turning Point USA related you know business items and then we look out the window about thirty minutes later and a mob starts to form so the people inside had alerted people outside they're in there they sent out some sort of a bat signal which said we have found the Conservatives come and harass them and that's exactly what they did they descended very quickly they mobilized it lets us know that this is this is a well-funded effort this was at 8:00 a.m. Monday morning which means it's likely that this is their job and it was quite terrifying how quickly they were able to assemble that group and whistle didn't make that's right they were bullying whistles bullhorns that's close to my face in my ear and this like I mean it felt to me my mission of the civil rights era because the entire police force is black there was only one white police officer the entire Antipa group is white and they were screaming at us calling us race traitors telling the police officers that they were racist all white supremacy and I was a white supremacist and they said you're a race traitor whose race are we betraying white liberals is that who we've betrayed because we don't think like them because refused to subscribe to political orthodoxy nervous did you did you fear for your safety well look we were shocked and you know Candace and I I turn to Candace I said look let's stand our ground for a couple minutes here and just kind of see what this is all about and the police had an unbelievable job and we really have to what go through in the harassment here's these you know these protesters and that's probably a generous word to describe them harassing them the police non-stop and we just kind of stood there next thing I know I'm having water thrown at me eggs thrown at me we did not retaliate we never will that's not the right way to handle situations like this and look we don't want to play the victim card that's a very important thing but we do want to warn the American people that this is the new face the Democrat Party and Candis you actually were yelling you were yelling we love the police it was it was jarring to me to see this the illustration of black men standing peacefully these peace officers were black and they were standing peacefully silently as they were being shouted at by white liberals so it really I felt like a necessity to defend them and say we love you guys we love the birds thank you for protecting they don't love the police but you know what they might tactics let me ask you something what would what would the news coverage be like today if a couple of people in Trump hats make America great again hats were hooting yelling at people inside a restaurant drove them out and then dumped water on black people imagine if people in Trump hats were yelling at a young black woman screaming at her because of her political affiliation imagine what the stories would be it would be wall-to-wall coverage and we would never hear the end of it but somehow it's okay and the argument that we're hearing is that it's not illegal to discriminate based off of political affiliation do you guys actually need a piece of legislation to tell you that this is wrong to tell you that harassing people based on who they support politically is wrong then that's where we're at in this country we have to start considering rights for conservative thinkers but the thing is look at Kristen Kersten Nielsen having dinner look at Cara Sarah Huckabee Sanders having dinner Stephen Miller they're outside protesting at his apartment this is getting closer and closer to going really bad Steve Scalise still recovering from injuries after being shot because he happened to be playing second base practicing for on his Republican softball and Rand Paul was mauled by his neighbor political hate crime one after the other and we as conservatives we reject the victim status instead let's be victors and show up in huge force in November and not allow these radicals to regain control of Congress because where are the Democrats denouncing this silence I wonder how did they know y'all were in that restaurant and what how did they get such a big group so quickly they had four people that were eating tables down for us with Antipa decals on their bag that recognized us instantly we thought okay they recognize us no big deal we didn't think they were going to send out a signal to tell people to come harass us I do want to say this it doesn't matter what they do if they harass us in the streets this is not going to the effects of this administration I've said this before many times on this couch we saw the Rasmussen poll this last week blacks report support for Donald Trump has doubled since this time last year the reason is because people are started to recognize the left the Democrats they are the party of hate and there's something about you articulating your message as a young african-american woman that really scares the left I've been tremendously effective I've been showing the truth I've been telling the truth I've been telling them about real black history and showing that it was never the Republicans that were racist in this country it was always the Democrats the Democrats were behind the terrorism in the KKK the Democrats are behind and teeth on the Terrorism that is happening to me what y'all can't have breakfast in peace so y'all stay safe have you thought about security now yes yes it's something we're obviously looking very closely at it's a sad day in America that two 20-somethings can eat quietly at a cafe and we're harassed for our support of the president conservative values but we're not going to back down the stereotype of what they'd like to see in black people I'm a Democrat I support the President of the United States and I advocate for things that are actually affecting the black community I'm honored to be here today in front of you all because person sitting behind me is my 75 year old grandfather I've always considered myself to be my grandfather's child and I mean to say that my sense of humor my passion and my work ethic all comes from the man that is sitting behind me my grandfather grew up on a sharecropping farm in the center gated South he grew up in an America where words like racism and white nationalism held real meaning under the Democrat party's Jim Crow laws my grandfather's first job was given to him at the age of five years old and his job was too late tobacco out to dry in an attic in the south my grandfather has picked cotton and he has also had experiences with a Democrat terrorist organization of that time the Ku Klux Klan they would regularly visit his home and they would shoot bullets into it they had an issue with his father my great-grandfather during my formative years I had the privilege of growing up in my grandfather's home it's going to shock the committee but not once not in a single breath of a conversation did my grandfather tell me that I could not do something because of my skin color not once did my grandfather hold a gripe against the white man I was simply never taught to view myself as a victim because of my heritage I learned about faith in God family and hard work those were the only lessons of my childhood there was a single adult today that in good conscience would make the argument that America is a more racist or a more white nationalist society than it was when my grandfather was growing up and yet we're hearing these terms sent around today because what they want to say is that brown people need to be scared which seems to be the narrative that we hear every four years right ahead of a presidential election here are some things we never hear 75% of the black boys in California don't meet state reading standards in inner cities like Baltimore within five high schools in one middle school not a single student was found to be proficient in math or reading in 2016 the single mother would the single motherhood rate in the black community which is that 23 percent in the 1960s and my grandfather was coming up and said of staggering 74 percent today I'm guessing there will be no committee hearings about that there are more black babies born there are more black babies aborted than born alive in cities like New York and you have Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo lighting up buildings to celebrate late term abortions I could go on and on my point is that white nationalist right nationals does not do any of those things that I just brought up Democrat policies did let me be clear the hearing today is not about white nationalism or hate crimes it's about fear mongering power and control it's a preview of a Democrat 2020 election strategy same as the Democrat 2016 election strategy they blame Facebook they blame Google they blame Twitter really they blame the birth of social media which has disrupted their monopoly on Minds they called this hearing because they believe that if it wasn't for social media voices like mine would never exist that my movement blex it which is inspiring black Americans to lead but to leave a Democrat party but have never come about and they certainly believe that Donald Trump would not be in office today looking on the next thing to focus on now that the crushin collusion hoax has fallen apart what they won't tell you about this the statistics and the rise of white nationalism is that they've simply changed the data set points by widening the definition of hate crimes and upping the number of reporting agencies that are able to report on them what I mean to say is that they're manipulating statistics the goal here is to scare blacks Hispanics gays and Muslims into helping them Center dissent helping them censor dissenting opinions ultimately into helping them regain control of our country's narrative which they feel that they lost they feel that President Donald Trump should not have beat Hillary if they actually were concerned about white nationalism they would be holding hearings on an Tifa a far left a violent white gang who determined one day in Philadelphia in August and I a black woman was not fit to sit in the restaurant they chased me out they yelled race traitor to a group of black and Hispanic police officers who formed a line to protect me from their ongoing assaults they threw water at me they threw eggs at me and the leftist media remained silent on it they were serious about the rise of hate crimes we may they may perhaps be examining themselves and a hater they have drummed up in this country bottom line is that white supremacy racism nashit white nationalism words that once held real meaning have now become nothing more than election strategies every four years the black community has offered handouts in fear handouts and fear reparations and white nationalism this is the Democrats preview of course society is not perfectible we've heard testimony of that today there are pockets of evil that exists and those things are horrible and they should be condemned but I believe the legacy in the ancestry of black Americans is being insulted every single day I will not pretend to be a victim in this country I know that that makes many people on the Left uncomfortable I want to talk about real issues in black America I want to talk about real issues in this country and real concerns the biggest scandal this is my last sentence in American politics is that Democrats have been conning minorities into belief that we are perpetual victims all but ensuring our failure racial division and class warfare are central to the democrat party platform and he blacks to hate whites the rich to hate the poor thank you know I had a really productive conversation with the black lives matter chapter at UPenn two weeks ago and it was really amazing because they showed up thinking that I was anti black cuz I don't know they read elite daily.com or something weird and I get to speaking and I say you're focusing on 1616 unarmed about 16 it's actually decreased in 2016 unarmed black men that have been shot and killed by police officers you have a higher chance as a black person being struck by lightning white people white men and Hispanic men are more likely to be shot and killed by police officer than any black man right could you imagine if you refocused your energy on the 1718 million black babies that have been aborted since 1973 the nine hundred black babies that are born every single day [Applause] and I've said this before and I will say it again if black lives matter change their initiative to black babies if they change their initiative to talking about what's happening in New York with nine month abortions I would plan a BLM tee-shirt tomorrow that is the truth we should be focusing on the horrendous nature of Planned Parenthood [Applause] and the abortion rate is actually higher than the birth rate in New York City it's a literal genocide under the definition of United Nations a literal genocide is encouraging people as stopping is stopping the birth rate right when you talk about the fact that people want to focus on white nationalism and white supremacy right I think there was approximately 3,500 black black people that have been killed by the KKK a civil rights era 3,500 we're talking millions of black babies that have been aborted and that gets no airtime why because progresses love Planned Parenthood liberals love Planned Parenthood the Democrats love Planned Parenthood it should be defunded I am the biggest advocate for defunding Planned Parenthood just pay attention to how stupid the left thinks the black community is that this is the most important insulting thing in the entire world I mean Hillary Clinton what the hot sauce in your bag was pretty bad AOC what the black cent was pretty bad right they have literally for the last decade been saying that we cannot fight for voter ID laws because fundamentally it Oh black people won't be able to vote because we're too stupid to figure out how to get ID can't do anything in society without ID but somehow black people will no longer be able to go if we have voter ID laws we can't figure out how to get that done right but somehow with reparations they think we're gonna be able to be able to find the paperwork our ancestral paperwork dating back to slavery to prove that we were in fact slaves it's hypocrisy the astounding hypocrisy of a leopard always amazes me they outdo themselves it's an Olympic sprint every time I think they can't get more insulting than that and preparation it's just saying just saying we might have to dig up a lot of paperwork do that so maybe we can get voter ID and we should have voter ID because who is being harmed illegals are voting and who is the number one group that is negatively impact by illegals black America so when Trump says build the wall I say build it I will be the first one down there laying bricks right and we talk a lot about this too so there's a second thing that I hate if I had two big initiatives it'd be the first the first thing obviously it'd be to transform black America because I think we've been sorely miss educated I started as a liberal he started as a liberal and we finally feel like we're awake to the nonsense and it's happening in our community and and where the cancer is really coming from which is liberals and their policies right the second initiative is I would love to destroy radical feminism okay that's we are in the midst of a society that is trying to turn women into men and men into women if there is anybody wearing a feminism is for everybody's shirt that is a man I would like you to reconsider what's actually happening what they are trying to do is break down the family unit by destroying roles okay if you want to know what happens when you break down the family unit look no further than the black community the father absence rate when my grandfather was growing up in the 19th in the 1960s okay and the 1940s was 23% today the single motherhood rate in the black community is astoundingly 77 percent okay they're not talking about that though right white supremacy we have to be afraid of white supremacy no we have to be afraid of the fact that you intentionally incentivize policies that remove the father from the home and you are trying to spread that far and wide in American society right now and can I just add that I love masculinity it's not toxic Society is driven by strong men and strong women we need strong male figures having a strong male figure in my grandfather growing up is what saved me it is what saved me from liberalism a strong male figure we have to fight to defend men and ladies it's on us this battle is on us you know I have to say my favorite part of the Brett Kavanaugh hearing was the the buses of white women and hats that came you know and they they went around and they would say on social media they DAP me and say how could you as a black as a black woman you need to be out there defending this you need to be out there defending against angry white men as they like to pick anybody who's straight and male and its Caucasian angry white males right and I said how stupid do you think I am you think I don't know my own history do you think is this is exactly what got my ancestors Lynch just believe women with no due process no facts we already tried that in the Civil Rights era I want I don't want to believe women I don't want to believe men I want to believe facts and there were zero during that case right Brandon that's right what my country accent like I really could connect to her when she gave that black sense you know ain't nothing wrong I'm like first and foremost black people speak English ayo see it's so absurd and it's so insulting and what would it really amount to if they actually did it and didn't even say they're gonna do it never like let's have a full-throated conversation whatever that even means elizabeth warren a full-throated conversation about reparations which means they're gonna assemble some committees and talk about it and it's never gonna happen such as they do every election cycle the black community gets promised a bunch of stuff and we don't get it and then another four years comes and we get promised a bunch of stuff and we don't get it it is time to get off of this hamster wheel it is time for Americans to realize that they have grown radical that they have no interest in repairing anything whatsoever they are only after power that is it and they think that Trump took it from them and they will do anything they will say anything they will put on any accent to regain it and I just I just want to also touch on what it is that we fight for here at Turning Point USA because you'll see the signs that we believe in and really simply in free markets and in letting the market society and it's such a simple concept but it is the greatest deliverer of economic justice how hard you work how great your ideas are that's how people should be rewarded on a merit-based system of their ideas and let the markets decide what's right and what's wrong this is the message that I'm trying to deliver to the black community right we know socialism doesn't work of course it doesn't work 100 million people have been killed over the last 100 years and you have leftist saying well let's just try it in America it'll be a little different we'll just move it a little bit you know tiny bit different no it's always the same it's always a disaster they're not fleeing Venezuela to come to America because socialism is great it's the opposite go speak to Cuban Americans about socialism go speak to Venezuelan Americans about socialism they think we're insane insane for even talking about it in a country that they believe is so great I ask myself all the time why does the Left hate America people say oh you can't say that's not that's not fair you're painting a broad stroke well maybe one left politician that has said anything positive about America in the last four years you can't find them you can't find them they're hostile towards our values they're hostile they wanted to divide they want to turn America and two into a different country in a different place and we have to fight to protect everything that America is there was a reason why everyone wants again to this country if you
