Candace Owens Responds to Erika Kirk's Fox News Interview About Charlie Kirk Conspiracy Theories

Candace Owens breaks down Erika Kirk's interview with Harris Faulkner on Fox News, where she addresses conspiracy theories surrounding Charlie Kirk's death. Owens challenges the emotional appeals and lack of concrete answers from Turning Point USA leadership, arguing that legitimate questions about the organization's conduct and the circumstances of Kirk's assassination remain unanswered. Tucker Carlson weighs in, confirming key details about Egyptian aircraft and foreign cell phones, while new information emerges about a mysterious military meeting at Fort Huachuca days before the assassination. Owens argues the public deserves transparency from an organization that has raised over $140 million since Kirk's death.

Erika Kirk Breaks Her Silence on Fox News

Erika Kirk appeared on Fox News with Harris Faulkner to address what she calls conspiracy theories surrounding her husband Charlie Kirk's death and burial. When asked about claims that Charlie Kirk has not yet been buried, Erika became emotional, asking if she could have "one thing" that remains private for her family. She explained that while everything else has been public, she wants to keep the location of her husband's grave sacred to protect it from potential desecration.

Erika stated that Turning Point USA will be building a spectacular memorial for Charlie Kirk that will be open to the world, but the actual burial site will remain private for her children and family. She expressed concern about "some secular revolutionary" potentially destroying her husband's grave while her daughter prays there.

The Privacy Paradox

While Erika Kirk's desire for privacy regarding her husband's burial location may seem reasonable on its face, Owens points out what she calls "Meghan Markle syndrome" - wanting privacy when convenient while seeking publicity at other times. Owens argues this approach doesn't work when you've already invited the public into intimate moments.

Owens reminds viewers that Erika made the decision to record herself crying over Charlie's casket and published images of his dead body on Instagram. That deeply personal and intimate moment was shared with the public by Erika's own choice. Now, three months later, she's asking why the public wants to know where he's buried. Owens argues you can't selectively choose when to be private and when to be public - you have to make a consistent decision.

Defending Turning Point USA Employees

During the Fox News interview, Erika launched into an impassioned defense of Turning Point USA employees, comparing herself to Nehemiah building a wall while townspeople called him names. She stated she cannot come down because she is busy building. She insisted her silence doesn't mean she's complacent, and that the handpicked staff who loved her husband are not "somehow in on it."

Erika became particularly emotional when discussing what she perceives as attacks on her "Turning Point USA family" and "Charlie Kirk show family." She expressed frustration that people are making "hundreds and thousands of dollars every single episode" by questioning whether these individuals are involved in a conspiracy.

The Problem With Emotional Appeals

Owens expresses frustration with this entire approach, arguing that Erika Kirk definitely has time to address questions. She has appeared on Hannity, The Five, Fox and Friends, Outnumbered, Megyn Kelly Live, sat down with the New York Times, flew cross-country to Washington DC for Sergio Gor's swearing-in as ambassador to India, and filmed a CBS News town hall with Bari Weiss.

Owens argues that when Erika says she doesn't have time, what she really means is that responding to public questions is not her priority. She's allowed to prioritize things in her own life, but it's not a matter of time constraint. Additionally, Owens finds it tone-deaf to criticize people for making "hundreds and thousands of dollars" discussing Charlie Kirk's death when Turning Point USA has raised over $140 million since his assassination - including $40 million at a Mar-a-Lago event and more than $100 million separately.

Treating Criticism as Attacks on Family

Owens challenges Erika's framing of Turning Point USA employees as untouchable family members. She argues that calling someone "fam" doesn't shield them from legitimate critique. When Pastor Rob McCoy is shown defending a pedophile, when employees tell verifiable lies, when the organization employs people who are sexual deviants requiring presidential pardons - these are legitimate concerns about a $150 million organization, not attacks on a family.

Owens argues this represents an "unbelievably emotional response that is absent of any logic." If Erika really cares about her team, she should answer questions and demystify the entire event so people don't think Turning Point USA looks suspicious. Instead, she's trying to "mom the organization" by saying people can't critique her children, treating multi-million dollar subsidiaries like Turning Point Action as if they were literal kids.

Why Women Leaders Face Scrutiny

Owens acknowledges this situation exemplifies why many people don't believe women are equipped to lead companies. A CEO and chairman cannot respond to valid questions about finances and shady actions with "that's my family." A CEO and chairman has to compartmentalize and cannot treat organizational critique like a mother speaking to a teacher about her child.

Owens points out that if the president of Goldman Sachs died violently, the company would never accept "he's gone, but here's his wife" as a succession plan. They would have instantly had someone qualified to replace that individual. Being someone's wife doesn't automatically qualify you to take on their job. Erika Kirk already had an uphill battle to prove she has the ability to be a CEO and chairman, not just a grieving widow entitled to emotion in that capacity.

Tucker Carlson Weighs In

Tucker Carlson joined Theo Vaughn's podcast and provided a blast of fresh air by questioning the official narrative. He stated he doesn't understand the official story at all and has concerns about whether there's a truly rigorous and honest federal investigation. Carlson confirmed that Egyptian registered aircraft were following Erika Kirk around for years in different places in the world, calling it "one of the weirdest things I've ever heard."

Carlson also confirmed that there were a disproportionately large number of foreign registered cell phones at the event where Charlie Kirk was killed. He emphasized that the FBI has a moral and legal obligation to look in every direction and be open-minded, as you would in any investigation, journalism, or science. He expressed lack of confidence in the FBI and the men who run it, noting his concerns aren't based on ignorance - his father worked for the CIA, and he grew up with CIA agents in Virginia.

Scientific Inquiry Is Not Wrong

Owens stresses that what she and others are doing is investigation, not conspiracy theorizing. Sometimes you get something wrong and correct it, but scientific inquiry and investigation itself is not patently wrong. If we followed the logic that we should just trust the state and never ask questions, there would never be a crime solved ever.

Owens provides an analogy: imagine a young mother dies suddenly in the middle of the night, her husband reports it in the morning, and cops who happen to be his buddies dramatically close the case in 48 hours. If neighbors point out the husband is in the mafia, that they saw him removing cameras before she died, that he put something in his trunk, that they heard a heated argument about money - those would all be reasonable concerns. Yet the current approach treats all of this as improper "gossip."

Owens says they're the "nosy neighbors" who've put together a list of 20 verifiable lies told in the weeks following this death event. They're not going to accept being told they're evil for asking questions. They want to know whether they're in bed with people capable of murder or covering up murders. They feel less safe until they know whether there are psychopathic killers in their midst.

The Military Whistleblower

Owens provides updates on the military servicemember who contacted her about witnessing a suspicious meeting at Fort Huachuca on September 8-9, 2025. After receiving dozens of emails from people currently stationed at that base, she was able to verify additional details. She confirmed the identity of Captain Adam Neff of the 10th Mountain Division as the officer who interrogated the witness.

She also confirmed from people currently stationed on the base that a Joint Task Force is indeed borrowing a building that has been turned into a SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility). The building has barbed wire around it for additional security, cell phones and electronics are not allowed unless government issued, and it requires top clearance for access. This corroborates what the witness described about stumbling into an unmarked operational meeting.

The Mysterious Government Plane

A researcher contacted Owens with information about a US Air Force C-37A Gulfstream 5, a VIP jet used for senior members of the executive branch and Congress. The plane, number 99-044 based out of Andrews Air Force Base, flew from Andrews to Colorado Springs on September 7th, then Colorado Springs to Tucson on September 8th. Five hours later, the transponder was turned off.

On September 9th at 12:31 PM, it flew from Fort Huachuca to El Paso, then El Paso back to Andrews. The timeline matches exactly what the military witness described about a high-level meeting early in the morning on September 9th. El Paso, Texas is also where weird flights were coming from on the day of Charlie Kirk's assassination.

The plane's call sign is particularly revealing. Before Fort Huachuca, it used "RCH" (Reach), a standard Air Force designator. But when it took off from Fort Huachuca, it switched to "SAM" (Special Air Mission), which is typically reserved for the Vice President, cabinet secretaries, senior officials of the executive branch, congressional delegations, and other senior political leaders. This indicates they picked up someone of significant stature at Fort Huachuca.

Erika Kirk's Town Hall With Bari Weiss

Owens received reports from attendees of a CBS town hall event with Erika Kirk moderated by Bari Weiss. According to sources, when asked about conspiracies, Erika said she was pregnant when the Egyptian planes were flying and following her, so she wasn't on them, and she has photo proof.

Owens finds this answer bizarre, noting she never accused Erika of being on the Egyptian planes. The concern was that these planes were tracking Charlie's events or following Erika for surveillance purposes. Why would anyone think Erika was piloting Egyptian aircraft? Additionally, you can fly when pregnant, so even if she had been on them, that would be possible. The answer seems disconnected from the actual question being asked.

When Bari Weiss asked what Erika had to say to those promoting conspiracies, she simply said: "Stop." Sources also reported that Erika talked about Israel, said positive things about Jews, and mentioned that Turning Point USA is having Shabbat dinners at their events.

The COVID Comparison

Owens draws parallels between the current situation and COVID-19, calling it "Candace 19." She describes a coordinated campaign where multiple influencers are told to socially distance from her perspective, calling her dangerous, saying people will die if they listen to her questions. It's the same playbook: trust the authorities, don't ask questions, anyone who investigates is spreading a dangerous virus of skepticism.

Owens argues this psychological operation filled with emotional manipulation is designed to make people accept a narrative without evidence. But just as she didn't accept the COVID narrative, she won't accept being told that asking questions about a $150 million organization is somehow improper because a grieving widow gave an emotional interview.

Biblical Parallels

Owens notes the irony that Turning Point Faith constantly references biblical characters but nobody wants to address that Jesus was betrayed. That was a conspiracy - Judas conspired for money. Jesus was also denied, just as he predicted. These biblical stories are relevant because they demonstrate that betrayal, especially involving money and power, is not only plausible but documented throughout history.

When a company grows to the size that Turning Point USA has reached, there are inevitably people motivated by things other than truth and justice. Reality is that life can be ugly, and many successful people have to deal with deceit and dishonesty. Owens notes they heard from Charlie Kirk's own mouth what he was going through before his death.

The Path Forward

Owens emphasizes she has been patient and focused on evidence. She initially said people should wait before prejudging Erika Kirk, as she hadn't said anything yet. Now that Erika is making media rounds, Owens feels the responses completely miss the mark. The emotional appeals and deflections don't address the substantive questions about Turning Point USA's conduct, financial dealings, and the circumstances surrounding Charlie Kirk's death.

Owens maintains that she and others asking questions want justice for Charlie Kirk. They want transparency from an organization that has raised unprecedented amounts of money in his name. They want answers about verifiable lies that have been told. They want to understand why the FBI hasn't contacted people with relevant information. And they won't be satisfied with being told to stop asking questions by an organization that looks increasingly suspicious with each non-answer they provide.
