CNN's Dana Bash made a remarkably candid observation about the Democrat Party's strategy to win over men - specifically, low testosterone men who lack spirit or spunk. During her analysis, Bash explained that Democrats are trying to put forward male figures like Tim Walz and Doug Emhoff who can speak to men who might not be the testosterone-laden, gun-toting type who wants to listen to Hulk Hogan and the players at the RNC.
Bash suggested Democrats want to show it's okay in 2024 to be a man comfortable in his own skin who supports a woman. The party showcased figures like Pete Buttigieg and Josh Shapiro as their version of alpha males. Democrats clearly know they have a problem with men because their entire party exudes hypertoxic femininity - and yes, toxic femininity is absolutely a real phenomenon.
Tim Walz: The Perfect Example of Cultural Appropriation
Tim Walz, who is a proven liar about his military record and who abandoned his troops in a time of need, took the stage as one of the most radical governors in America. He represents a perfect example of how the Democrat Party is pumping tens of millions of dollars into culturally appropriating conservatism.
Cultural appropriation is a term the left usually employs - claiming you can't wear a Native American headdress, an afro, or a sombrero hat on Cinco de Mayo. However, Democrats are perfectly fine culturally appropriating Midwestern conservatism. They put Tim Walz on display as a folksy Midwesterner because he looks like the type of Midwestern sensible conservative that Democrats are getting slaughtered with right now.
The Democrat Party operates like drag - presenting a performance rather than authenticity. They're trying to build a party that reaches all voters, but in reality, it's designed for a couple of states and specific places. Tim Walz is as radical as any person in American politics, yet they parade him out to culturally appropriate Midwestern conservatism.
The Guns, Camo Hats, and Football Coach Strategy
Notice how Walz emphasizes that he owns a gun and can shoot it well, that he wears camo. They're attempting to propagandize and convince voters that because Tim Walz was a football coach and knows how to shoot a shotgun, he should be supported. Never mind that he didn't bring a gun into combat because he betrayed and lied to his fellow service members.
Democrats believe voters will let the country be destroyed as long as the means of destruction wears camo and served in the National Guard. They think Americans will vote Democrat because they picked a white Midwestern governor who wears a camo hat. This demonstrates how significantly they are losing in rural parts of key states and how dramatically they're losing the male vote.
During his speech, Walz proclaimed: "I know guns. I'm a veteran. I'm a hunter, and I was a better shot than most Republicans in Congress, and I've got the trophies to prove it." But based on his recent pattern of dishonesty, there's little reason to believe him. He lied about his wife getting IVF treatments when she did not. He engaged in Stolen Valor by misrepresenting his military service.
Interestingly, the audience wasn't cheering about him having guns - they were cheering about Tim Walz effectively culturally appropriating Midwestern conservatism.
Democrats Want Power More Than Principles
Democrats want political power far more intensely than conservatives do, and that's probably a good thing for the right - political power shouldn't be worshiped. Democrats are willing to stomach somebody who outwardly contradicts their stated positions if it means gaining political power. Republicans, on the other hand, no longer put up with such contradictions.
This situation shows how Hollywood is running the Democrat Party. They can pick an actor who puts on a disguise and convinces people to vote for him because he seems relatable. This represents the continuation of identity politics. Usually identity politics means blacks supporting Kamala Harris or women supporting Kamala Harris or blacks supporting Obama. But now Democrats are trying a new angle: Can they get white men to support Harris-Walz because of a goofball white Midwestern folksy guy?
The Football Team Spectacle
To further demonstrate their issue with young men and men in general, Democrats made the spectacle even more grotesque. Not only did Walz brag about his guns, but they had him enter with his football team. While football is a great sport, could the message be any clearer? Democrats are broadcasting: we are losing with men, we are losing with men, we are losing with men.
Democrats have disenfranchised and turned their backs on the men of this country. For the men of America, the response must be to rise up and vote in record numbers this fall. If men vote at the same clip as women in this country, conservatives will win. Why? Because Kamala Harris is winning the female vote by 10 points, but Donald Trump is winning the male vote by 15 to 20 points. Therefore, if men and women vote with parity, it won't end well for Democrats.
When Walz's football team ran on stage, they played what sounded like the Navy fight song - not his high school team's fight song, just more cultural appropriation. Notably absent were any members of his Guard unit. Tim Walz did not lean into his military service because conservatives successfully exposed him as a fraud regarding his military record. Now Democrats have reverted to an older part of his biography.
A Convention Organized by Women Who Don't Understand Men
The strategy of making Tim Walz seem like Mike Ditka giving a pump-up speech to the '85 Bears reveals exactly what happens when women run a convention and think they know what men want. Just as men often think they know what women want, it's very clear that a group of women organized the DNC. They got together and decided: "What if we have the sportsball people storm the stage?"
This fundamental misunderstanding of male voters demonstrates why Democrats are struggling so badly with this demographic. You cannot fake authenticity, and you cannot culturally appropriate your way to genuine connection with voters who value tradition, strength, and honesty.
