Trump's China Warnings Proven Right
The coronavirus pandemic has validated what President Trump warned Americans about four or five years ago. The ruling class in America has maintained an inside-out relationship with the Chinese Communist Party through bad trade deals, allowing them to build Confucius Institutes on college campuses, not questioning their infiltration into our country, hacking our cyber grid, and infiltrating the highest levels of influence in our media.
Now we're seeing a global pandemic with trillions of dollars of wealth being lost because China lied. China could have come clean in early January and said that there was a growing pandemic happening in their country, and the World Health Organization and America would have thanked them for their honesty. They should have suspended all flights, they should have taken responsibility for their actions, and they did none of those things. Now we're seeing unspeakable loss both financial, economic, and of course the loss of life.
President Trump's Crisis Management Earns Bipartisan Praise
President Trump's agenda is being validated, and despite the best efforts to try to criticize him for being racially insensitive for correctly categorizing this as the Chinese coronavirus, his approval ratings are going up. A lot of the left was hoping that in the midst of this crisis it would make him more vulnerable politically, but we're seeing the exact opposite play out.
When Ilhan Omar, the congresswoman and part of the squad from Minnesota, compliments the president, when he gets kudos from New York Governor Cuomo and California Governor Newsom, some of them are having to recognize that his management of the crisis is exactly textbook quality management. You're seeing Cuomo and Governor Newsom, two radical left-wing Democrat governors from New York and California, even complement the president's decision-making and problem-solving here, whether it be cutting the red tape in the FDA or repositioning the USNS Mercy to New York City to allow a floating hospital to be created or getting people the help that they need in this time of crisis.
President Trump rebuilt the American economy once, and he's going to have to rebuild it again. Neither time was it his fault that the economy was in a less than desirable situation. This is going to be the president's finest hour, and we as Americans need to unify and get behind the guidelines the administration is issuing so we can defeat this virus once and for all.
Young People's Dangerous Defiance of Guidelines
A lot of people on the younger end of the population spectrum tend to see this as no big deal. Many of them are going on and partying hard on spring break, continuing their activities, almost feeling inconvenienced that they couldn't go to their bars and have a good time. There are several reasons for this dangerous behavior:
- They don't believe the media because the media said it was going to be the end of the world around every single corner—Trump got elected, the world was going to end; Trump decided to take out Qasem Soleimani, we're going to go to war with Iran; the Trump tax cut, Brett Kavanaugh. It's the boy who cried wolf, and eventually young people don't trust that.
- The pundits and politicians and prognosticators that have tried to invalidate this president for the last three or four years saying that he's not duly elected, don't listen to him—all young people have been told is to distrust him.
- Despite those things, it's incredibly narcissistic and outrageous to go to the beach and continue to party when the country is going through this sort of virus fight.
At Turning Point USA, we're trying to practice what we preach. We're giving people the option to work from home. Unfortunately, our entire campus schedule has been completely and totally shut down, but we're doing what we can. For students out there and especially for parents, there is no humor in trying to defy these guidelines. For young people who think they're invincible, just go read what's happening in France, in Italy, in Belgium, where some of the most intensive cases are actually people in their 20s and 30s. Young people might think they're invincible, and as someone who runs an organization that's on 2,000 high school and college campuses, I'm pushing back very aggressively against students that think they're above this and totally invincible.
The MAGA Doctrine Validated by Global Pandemic
I wrote The MAGA Doctrine to try to articulate the Trump philosophy because I was tired of left-wing pundits and prognosticators telling us what the president believed. Part of the MAGA Doctrine was being skeptical of our relationship with China and having stronger immigration policies.
There's that old expression: there's no atheists in foxholes. I've added now there's no globalists in pandemics. You're seeing Justin Trudeau, you're seeing the EU shut off their borders to travel, and all of a sudden it seems like the entire world is taking a page from the MAGA Doctrine—that strong borders and stricter immigration is actually something that might help your people and actually might help your citizenry.
There's so much negative and so much carnage that has come out of this virus, but one thing that I hope that we can learn is that China is not our friend. China is our greatest enemy, and they should be held responsible for this. President Donald Trump said it from his first speech coming down that escalator, and if you actually go back to his 1980s interview with Oprah Winfrey, businessman Donald Trump said China is ripping us off, they are laughing at us, and we have to do something about it. Now it's all coming to play.
The MAGA Doctrine presents a 30-40 year analysis of the philosophy of Donald Trump. He's going to protect America from this silent killer, and we are going to be stronger than ever before thanks to the MAGA Doctrine and President Trump's leadership.

[00:00] it does seem that the president was
[00:01] right all along by dependence upon China
[00:04] and selling our soul to them we ended up
[00:08] putting ourselves in a very vulnerable
[00:10] position for things like this
[00:11] coronavirus that's exactly right and
[00:14] thank you governor for having me on and
[00:15] look you're seeing right now play out
[00:18] what President Trump trying to warn
[00:19] Americans about four or five years ago
[00:21] remember the ruling class in our country

[00:46] trillions of dollars of wealth being

[01:07] things and now you are seeing
[01:09] unspeakable loss both financial economic
[01:12] and of course the loss of life so
[01:15] president Trump's agenda is being
[01:17] validated and despite the less best
[01:20] efforts to try to criticize him for
[01:22] being racially insensitive for correctly
[01:25] categorizing this as the Chinese

[01:30] approval ratings go up and a lot of the
[01:32] left was hoping that in the midst of

[01:51] some of them are having to recognize

[01:56] exactly textbook quality management so
[02:00] now President Trump he rebuilt the
[02:02] American economy once he's gonna have to
[02:03] rebuild it again and neither time was it
[02:06] his fault that the economy was in a less
[02:08] than desirable situation you're seeing
[02:10] Cuomo and Governor Newsom two radical
[02:13] left-wing Demma
[02:14] Kratt governor's from New York and
[02:16] California even complement the
[02:17] president's decision-making and
[02:18] problem-solving here whether it be
[02:20] cutting the red tape in the FDA or

[02:26] York City to allow a floating Hospital
[02:27] to be created or getting people to help
[02:30] that they need in this time of crisis so
[02:32] the president I think there's gonna be
[02:34] the president's finest hour and again I
[02:36] think we as Americans you know unify and
[02:38] get behind the guidelines at the
[02:39] administration or issuing so we can
[02:41] defeat this virus once and for all but
[02:43] it appears that a lot of the people on
[02:46] the younger end of the population
[02:48] spectrum tend to see this is no big deal
[02:51] many of them going on and partying hard

[02:54] continuing their activities almost
[02:56] feeling inconvenience that they couldn't
[02:59] go to their bars and have a good time
[03:01] what are they missing two thoughts on
[03:04] this number one they don't believe the
[03:05] media because the media said it was
[03:07] gonna be the end of the world around
[03:09] every single corner Trump got elected
[03:11] the world was going to end Trump decided
[03:12] to take out kasam Salamone we're gonna
[03:14] go to war with Iran the Trump tax cut
[03:16] Brett Kavanaugh it's the it's the boy
[03:19] who cried wolf and eventually the young
[03:21] young people don't trust that number to
[03:23] the pundits and politicians and
[03:25] prognosticators that have tried to

[03:31] duly elected don't listen to him all
[03:34] young people have been told to distrust

[04:29] this and totally invincible charlie
[04:31] you've got a best-selling book that's on
[04:33] fire right now maybe more than ever
[04:35] because of the timeliness of it your
[04:37] book the mag a doctrine what is the mag
[04:40] a doctrine how does that play out in
[04:42] real time both through this crisis as
[04:45] well as through an election year I wrote
[04:47] the mag of doctrine to try to articulate
