Zach Costello Responds to Graham Allen's Attack on Candace Owens and the Erika Kirk Investigation

Zach Costello addresses Graham Allen's claim that Candace Owens was Charlie Kirk's 'biggest nightmare' and examines new evidence in the Erika Kirk investigation. Costello dissects attempts to debunk Candace's reporting on inappropriate communications between then-25-year-old Erika Kirk and 15-year-old Jillian, revealing inconsistencies in the defense. He explores connections between the case and child sex trafficking concerns in Michigan, while preparing for an upcoming debate with Lisa Knows, a critic who claims to have debunked Candace's investigation. Costello frames the broader battle as one facing authentic Christians who refuse to compromise truth for political convenience, drawing parallels to historical Christian persecution and examining the growing influence of pro-Israel lobbying in American politics.

Graham Allen's Attack on Candace Owens

Graham Allen released what critics are calling a definitive takedown of Candace Owens, claiming she was Charlie Kirk's greatest fear within Turning Point USA. Allen alleged that Charlie lived in constant anxiety over Candace, worried she would destroy the organization if he ever turned against her. According to Allen, Kirk's stress over managing Candace was so severe it gave him ulcers, and other people had to communicate with her on his behalf.

Allen compared the situation to a scene from Halloween, where Dr. Loomis realizes Michael Myers is pure evil and must be kept locked up. He suggested Charlie had a similar revelation about Candace—that after initially trying to work with her, he came to see something dangerous behind her eyes and spent years trying to appease her rather than confront her directly.

The claim is that Charlie feared what Candace was capable of if she decided to turn against Turning Point USA, especially during critical election periods when presenting a united conservative front was essential. Allen positioned himself as finally willing to say what everyone in the conservative movement allegedly knows but won't say publicly.

The Real Reason Charlie and Candace Split

Zach Costello points out that Candace recently addressed why she and Charlie parted ways, explaining that Charlie had been dishonest with her about meeting with a particular donor. What has become clear, Costello argues, is that Charlie wasn't afraid of Candace Owens—he was afraid of what his Zionist donors thought of Candace Owens.

Charlie expressed these frustrations in text messages that surfaced after his death, where he wrote that because of the stereotypical behavior of Jewish donors, he had no choice but to leave the pro-Israel cause. He also mentioned bringing Candace Owens back on and never getting rid of Tucker Carlson. Charlie wasn't afraid of Candace burning down the organization—he was dealing with donors who were making his life hell, and that was his mistake.

Costello suggests that if Candace could have burned it all down, it was because the organization was full of chaff that would ignite when exposed to truth. The issues Charlie was dealing with stemmed from donor pressure, and Candace was the one telling him not to compromise.

Graham Allen's Big Revelation

Allen concluded his video by revealing what he called the biggest kept secret inside the conservative movement: Candace Owens has been the biggest thorn in the side, an absolute nightmare and wrecking ball to the entire conservative movement behind the scenes for the past decade. He claimed that anyone not on camera or still being paid by Candace would tell you they can't stand her.

Costello responds with sarcasm to this supposed bombshell. The revelation that some conservatives don't like Candace Owens is hardly news. Candace is a problem—and that's meant in a good way. She's like Kanye West in that regard. She's unemployable in the traditional sense, someone with an independent, anti-establishment mentality that challenges the status quo.

This is what many of Costello's followers understand and relate to. The conservative movement, the Republican Party, MAGA—none of these labels come first. Being a Christian comes first. Any Christian who labels themselves with something of this world is engaging in a form of idolatry. There's no man or party that should be prioritized over Christ and truth.

The Lisa Knows Debunking Videos

A social media user named Lisa Knows has been creating viral videos claiming to debunk Candace Owens's investigation into Erika Kirk's relationship with then-15-year-old Jillian. Lisa's videos have been widely shared by Candace's critics as proof that the grooming allegations are false and that the relationship was simply a wholesome mentor-mentee situation.

Lisa points out that Candace stated Jillian said the photographer's name started with R, but the photographer's name is Joe Alyssa, which doesn't start with R. She also notes that Jillian described the photographer as short, chubby, and unattractive, but Lisa shows Joe's social media profile picture, which appears to show an attractive man. Lisa uses this to claim Candace's reporting is inaccurate.

However, Costello investigated further and discovered that the profile picture Lisa used is not actually Joe Alyssa. Joe frequently changes his profile picture to photos of people he photographs. The man in the profile picture Lisa referenced is Shawn Thompson, someone Joe photographs regularly. This undermines Lisa's claim that Candace was wrong about the photographer's appearance.

Did Jillian's Mother Know About the Photo Shoot?

Lisa Knows presents a timeline of Jillian's social media posts from March 2014 to argue that Jillian's mother knew about and facilitated the photo shoot. Lisa points to posts showing Jillian getting her nails done with her mother, buying a new dress, and getting professional makeup done before the photo shoot. She argues that a 15-year-old without a driver's license or job couldn't arrange and pay for all this without parental knowledge and support.

Lisa also highlights a post where Jillian comments on her mother's driving, which Lisa interprets as proof that Jillian's mother drove her to the photo shoot. Based on timestamps, Lisa constructs a timeline showing the mother's involvement throughout the day of the shoot. Candace had originally stated that the mother did not know about the photo shoot.

Costello acknowledges this is new information that emerged after Candace's last episode. If accurate, it would require Candace to adjust her reporting. However, he notes that these additional messages appeared on Jillian's account after the investigation began, which raises questions about how old posts suddenly reappear. Candace claims to have been in communication with Jillian, while Lisa presumably has not, so there may be conflicting information about what the mother knew and when.

The Core Issue: Inappropriate Communications

Regardless of debates about the photographer or the mother's knowledge, Costello emphasizes that none of this addresses the central concern: Erika Kirk, at age 25, exchanged inappropriate messages with Jillian, then 15 years old. The text message that reads "Let me call you. Hold on sweetheart. Give me a sex. Wow. Okay. Haha. Sack. Correction. Sex too. But not from you. Lol" followed by "I don't bat for the other team just yet" cannot be explained away by claims about mentorship.

When someone makes a typo in a text message, they typically apologize and clarify the mistake. They don't follow up with "Sex too. But not from you" and joke about sexual orientation with a 15-year-old. This is completely inappropriate regardless of gender. Costello says he might joke like this with his wife, but with nobody else, and certainly not with a teenager if he were 25 years old.

The memes exchanged between Erika and Jillian included messages like "I want to be in your lady garden" and "I want to touch your butt." Lisa discounts these because Jillian sent them to Erika, not the other way around. But when viewed in the context of the sex typo conversation, these memes take on a different meaning. They suggest an inappropriate dynamic that Erika, as the adult, should have shut down immediately.

Sex Trafficking Connections in Michigan

Candace Owens posted an update revealing that someone discovered Jillian lived in a trailer park in an area known for having the highest incident of child sex trafficking in Michigan. Candace forwarded this information to Jillian, who confirmed it was true. The tip came from a Detroit-area resident who explained that the Great Lakes Crossing outlet at 400 Baldwin Road in Auburn Hills is widely known as the number one sex trafficking location in the state.

The location's confusing layout, proximity to the I-75 Expressway for easy getaway, and nearness to urban areas like Pontiac make it a hotspot for trafficking. The tipster noted that patients and residents never go there alone as women or at night and keep children close at all times due to its scary reputation for sex crimes.

The tip also revealed that at the time of her relationship with Erika Kirk, Jillian lived in a trailer park on the outskirts of Pontiac. Costello verified this information by checking the sex offender registry using the zip code mentioned in the tip. The results showed a massive cluster of registered sex offenders in that area, confirming the tip's accuracy about the danger level of the neighborhood.

Pattern of Concerning Connections

Candace has documented several connections between Erika Kirk and situations involving children at risk. Turning Point USA opened headquarters directly across from Arizona Mills, one of the highest places for child sex trafficking in Arizona. Erika ran Romanian Angels to work with Romanian orphans. She launched her Make Heaven Crowdtor with Pastor Greg Laurie of Harvest Christian Fellowship, despite his church facing 12 lawsuits as of 2025.

Erika claims to have worked with child sex trafficking victims in China, though she denies having lived in China. And now there's the revelation that Jillian lived in the number one neighborhood for sex trafficking in her area. At the very least, this pattern raises serious questions about Erika Kirk's character and integrity.

From the most charitable perspective toward Erika, these connections should make anyone question her judgment and the nature of her involvement in situations involving vulnerable children. This is especially important because of what happened to Charlie Kirk and because Erika has stepped into leadership of Turning Point USA, steering the organization in a direction different from what Charlie wanted.

Why This Matters for Christians

Costello emphasizes that he is not a conservative, not a Republican, not MAGA. He is a Christian first. Any Christian who labels themselves with something of this world is engaging in idolatry. There is no man or party that should be prioritized over Christ and the truth. Christ is the key to remaining on the right side of history always.

This stance makes authentic Christians a problem to those in power, just as it has been throughout history. Christians who stand their ground for the faith have always been problems to the world's power structures. Costello quotes extensively from Matthew 10:16-39, where Jesus tells his disciples they are being sent out like sheep among wolves, that they will be handed over to councils and flogged in synagogues, hated by everyone because of Jesus.

Jesus warns that brother will betray brother, children will rebel against parents, and a man's enemies will be members of his own household. He tells them not to fear those who can kill the body but cannot kill the soul. This has always been the universal truth of the Christian faith—authentic Christians throughout centuries have been a problem to those in power, and this isn't going to change now.

The Zionism Battle Facing Christians

Costello warns that Christians are entering a time where those who hold to 2,000 years of Orthodox Christian belief will be labeled as anti-Semites. There is a powerful lobby working to crack down on authentic Christian voices, not just through social media censorship but through repealing Section 230 to enable lawfare against social media companies for allowing the spread of what they call anti-Semitism.

He points out that 401 out of 535 members of the House of Representatives and 62 out of 100 senators receive funding from the pro-Israel lobby AIPAC or are associated with AIPAC or other pro-Israel interest groups. That's a major portion of the government bought and paid for by the pro-Israel lobby. Connected to this lobby are militant organizations like the ADL and Fight Anti-Semitism.

These organizations wage lawfare against anyone they deem anti-Semitic. They are attacking social media companies, trying to get dissenting voices off alternative media. They are going after people's employment and jobs, publishing work addresses, essentially doxing people they consider anti-Semitic. The president of Stop Anti-Semitism has stated they have people working full-time to financially ruin the lives of anyone they consider anti-Semitic.

The Call to Stand Firm

This is a serious problem Christians are facing, and it's a historical religious issue. The verse from Matthew is extremely relevant: "I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves. Be on your guard. You will be handed over to the local councils and flogged in the synagogues." Costello emphasizes that Christians need to wake up—this is happening right now.

The target is not individual people to hate, but the ideologies that consume them. The role of Christians has always been to go forth and make disciples of all nations, to win people over to the way, truth, and life through love. But that witness must be sharp and effective, done through truth and love even if it means putting ourselves in danger.

If the call of this time requires getting in the trenches, getting on the front lines, getting into trouble with opposing powers, then that's the call Christians must answer. Church fathers, saints, and martyrs throughout history were fed to lions, crucified upside down, burned at the stake, roasted alive. Christians today have it pretty easy if the worst that happens is getting shadowbanned on YouTube.

The Upcoming Debate with Lisa Knows

Costello has invited Lisa Knows to appear on his show Friday to debate the Erika Kirk situation. The interaction leading up to this debate has been frustrating. Lisa initially agreed to appear Tuesday but said she had the flu and couldn't speak. They rescheduled for Friday. Then Lisa posted that she was going into "enemy territory," which Costello found strange since they were just going to have a conversation.

Costello expressed surprise that so many Christians are willing to die on the hill defending the way Erika Kirk talked to a 15-year-old girl. Lisa responded by posting a video about enemies of Christianity. When Costello pointed out she claimed to have the flu and couldn't talk but was now posting videos, Lisa said the video was from last week and was about Candace Owens being an enemy of Christianity, not about Costello.

This back-and-forth left Costello frustrated. Gary from Paramount Tactical then joined the conversation, called Costello a Karen, accused him of being a bad faith actor, and blocked him so he couldn't respond. Costello says he's still willing to have a conversation with Gary if he unblocks him, despite their disagreements.

A Parent's Perspective

Costello approaches this issue from the perspective of being a parent. It's common sense that if someone was engaging with your child the way Erika engaged with Jillian—joking about sex, pretending typos, sending suggestive memes—a parent should step in immediately and cut off contact. If Costello's son or daughter were sending memes like the ones exchanged between Erika and Jillian to someone 10 years older who was trying to advance their career, he would intervene without hesitation.

As a father, he would say absolutely not, cut this person off, get away from my child. But Jillian didn't have a father. If her mother knew what was happening and took her to the photo shoot anyway, then the mother's parenting decisions are also questionable. The debate with Lisa will likely involve her going through mental gymnastics trying to prove Erika was being a good mentor, but from a parent's perspective, the inappropriateness is obvious.

The Exhaustion of Fighting for Truth

Costello opened the video by saying he's exhausted after engaging with various accounts on social media about the debunking videos targeting Candace Owens. He's been working to prepare everything to present to his audience. The battle for truth on social media is draining because there are so many different opinions and bad faith actors making it hard to make progress.

He knows what to expect from the upcoming debate—Lisa will go through elaborate arguments trying to prove Erika was a good mentor. But it will come down to fundamental disagreement about what's appropriate for a 25-year-old to do with a vulnerable 15-year-old girl. It's not going to be a great conversation because the common sense answer is so clear when viewed from a parent's perspective.

The reason Costello continues despite the exhaustion is because his main purpose for the channel is to communicate truths about the Christian faith in what he hopes is a unique and effective way from his own perspective. The fight is nasty, progress is hard, but standing for truth is the calling. Christians in other parts of the world are literally dying for the faith. American Christians face different battles, but they're still real battles that require standing firm.
