Charlie Kirk's Recurring Stops at Boise State University

Boise State University became a recurring stop on Charlie Kirk's campus tour. He made a point of setting up directly on the school's famous blue turf for one Prove Me Wrong event, telling the crowd he'd long admired the Broncos program before turning to his usual mix of abortion, immigration, and campus debates.

One Idaho visit carried a specific warning: don't grow complacent. Kirk told conservatives in an otherwise reliably red state that Idaho risked following other states that turned blue if its leaders kept playing defense instead of confronting critical race theory, vaccine mandates, and an influx of transplants from Washington and California head-on.

He also used a Boise State stop to walk through Trump's tariff strategy in detail: revenue, industry protection, and a third purpose beyond those two, negotiating leverage, with pressure concentrated specifically on China given American dependence on semiconductors and rare earth minerals.

Not every appearance there was purely substantive. One group of pranksters traveled hours just to heckle Kirk with a deliberately nonsensical catchphrase. Even that produced a real exchange, though, when one member challenged Kirk's claim that college is a scam. Kirk countered by asking the English major to name his favorite Jane Austen novel.
