DOGE: Kirk's Praise and TPUSA's Disputed Cancelled Audit
Showing 63 Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) videos from Charlie Kirk's video collection.
The Department of Government Efficiency gave Charlie Kirk both a policy framework he actively championed, celebrating Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy's appointment as a historic step toward eliminating federal waste through discoveries like Brown University's employee-to-instructor ratio and outdated retirement-processing systems, and, after his death, a specific and disputed detail in his own organization's story: reporting that Kirk had ordered a DOGE-style internal financial audit at Turning Point USA just eight days before his assassination, an audit some donors and journalists alleged was subsequently cancelled by his successors without clear explanation.
That internal-audit dispute gave DOGE an unusually direct connection to the broader post-assassination conflict over Turning Point USA's finances and leadership, distinct from Kirk's earlier, purely celebratory commentary about the federal version of the initiative. Together, Kirk's genuine enthusiasm for DOGE as a governing model and the specific, contested claim that his own final internal reform effort at his own organization went unfinished after his death gave the term two entirely separate meanings depending on whether a given video addressed federal policy or Turning Point USA's internal governance.
