Charlie Kirk's Case for Aggressive Deregulation

Showing 10 Deregulation videos from Charlie Kirk's video collection.

Charlie Kirk treated deregulation as the quieter, less-covered half of Trump's economic agenda, arguing it deserved as much attention as tariffs even though it generated far less news coverage. He pushed past Trump's own stated standard of eliminating two regulations for every new one, arguing there was no reason to add any new rules at all when thousands of existing ones on the books were, in his words, nonsensical and simply made it harder for businesses to hire and deploy capital. Kirk connected falling oil prices and interest rates directly to that deregulatory push, framing them as early, tangible proof the approach was working rather than abstract promises. He raised the debate in the same breath as tariffs specifically to draw a distinction: unlike the socialist-style tariff policies he associated with figures like Bernie Sanders, Trump was simultaneously freeing the domestic economy while raising trade barriers, not just closing the country off. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent made the administration's fullest case for the strategy directly on Kirk's show, describing deregulation, tariff revenue, and provisions like no tax on tips and overtime as parts of one coordinated push toward what he called parallel prosperity for both businesses and working Americans.
