Kirk's Vision of Biblical Femininity in Dating and Marriage

Femininity became a recurring theme in Charlie Kirk's commentary on dating and family formation, framed as a complement to what he described as biblical masculinity rather than a competing claim to authority within a relationship. Kirk and his wife Erika Kirk discussed the subject directly, with Erika describing herself as a strong, self-described alpha female while distinguishing that identity from what she called the dangerous hyper-feminization of relationships in which women effectively assumed the traditional male role by default, a shift she attributed partly to young men who avoided responsibility and commitment. Erika's own account of her path toward that identity traced back to a self-described tomboy childhood playing NCAA Division II basketball at Regis University before what she called a late blooming into more traditionally feminine interests. Kirk extended the theme into broader dating advice at Turning Point USA leadership events, urging women to reject what he characterized as modern feminism's promises in favor of biblical gender roles, delayed gratification, and prioritizing marriage, arguments he paired with parallel advice to men about abandoning pornography and video games. Candace Owens joined Kirk in extending the femininity argument into a rejection of the feminist label altogether, describing her own advocacy for women's spaces as compatible with, rather than dependent on, formal feminist identification.
