Independent Investigators' Disputed Google Trends Claims on the Kirk Case
Showing 13 Google Trends videos from Charlie Kirk's video collection.
A cluster of independent investigations has used publicly available Google Trends data to argue there was advance knowledge of Charlie Kirk's assassination. Commentator Baron Coleman presented searches he said originated from Washington DC, Israel, and Huntsville, Alabama in the weeks before September 10th, involving names and locations connected to the case, including suspect Tyler Robinson, medical examiner Dedra Amaro, and the Sorenson Center at Utah Valley University. Coleman has said the underlying data has since been altered and can no longer be independently reproduced. Myron Gaines and Jimmy Dore separately cited comparable analyses attributed to researcher Ian Carroll, drawing similar conclusions about search activity originating from Israel and federal facility locations.
Security staffing at the Utah Valley University event itself has drawn more conventional scrutiny. Commentators have noted that roughly six officers were assigned, compared with the dozens of officers and additional screening measures used at prior Kirk appearances. Additional videos cover unrelated theories about aircraft activity near the event location on the day of the shooting.
