Candace Owens Exposes Erika Kirk's Pastor Friend Victor Marx and His Alleged Arms Trafficking Schemes

Categories: Investigation
April 14, 2026

Candace Owens reveals disturbing allegations against Pastor Victor Marx, a close associate of Erika Kirk and Turning Point Faith. A firearms manufacturer named Corby Hall shares his firsthand account of Marx allegedly attempting to traffic 50,000 rifles to the IDF and requesting weapons for Haiti missions. The investigation uncovers Marx's troubled family history of drug smuggling, his retooling prayer rituals involving demons, and a mysterious ATF trace on a stolen Fold AR rifle the morning of Charlie Kirk's assassination. Owens argues this is further evidence that Turning Point Faith was infiltrated by individuals with shadowy connections to trafficking networks, and questions why everyone in Erika's circle seems to have ties to these operations.

The Pattern of Trafficking Connections

Candace Owens opens with a stark observation: it cannot be coincidence that nearly everyone Erika Kirk has involved with Turning Point USA through Turning Point Faith appears to have connections to trafficking. Whether they claim to be rescuing victims or working charitably in the industry, Owens finds the pattern impossible to ignore and increasingly problematic. She argues that Erika cannot continue dancing adjacent to allegations of trafficking her entire life, stating that life is not that complicated, especially for someone who constantly discusses her deep relationship with the Lord.

Owens frames this as a "battle bond kind of Tuesday" and reiterates her longstanding position: Turning Point Faith was the infiltration, the big sea change in the organization. When she left Turning Point USA, Charlie had just met Erika, a young woman who presented herself as being on fire for the Lord. In what felt like a blink, the organization transformed from being fully committed to free markets and capitalism to being all about the church.

Questions About Erika's Faith Language

Owens raises questions about Erika's religious language, noting that she rarely says "Jesus Christ" and typically refers to "the Lord" instead. She acknowledges this might be nitpicking but points to Erika's first public address on September 12th, where she said "Go to turningpoint.com right now" in a speech Owens claims was written by Blake Neff, not Erika herself. In that speech, Erika explicitly said Charlie "witnessed for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." Similarly, during the memorial, Erika said Charlie "blinked and he saw his savior in heaven."

Owens suggests this more specific language may have appeared because Erika was not writing her own speeches. She notes that Erika did not eulogize her own husband and received assistance from Blake Neff for the memorial speech. Similarly, Justin Strife did not write his own speech for the memorial. Owens finds this unimaginable and says that whenever she hears Erika discussing "the Lord," it makes her skin crawl in a way that differs from how she feels when speaking about God with other people.

Introducing Pastor Victor Marx

The investigation focuses on Pastor Victor Marx, a Turning Point Faith affiliated pastor who makes Owens's skin crawl just like many of the troubled pastors partnered with the organization despite troubling allegations. Marx is a Marine veteran currently running for governor of Colorado who chose to announce his candidacy at a Charlie Kirk memorial event in Denver on September 14th, just days after Charlie's assassination. He stated that given the weight of the assassination, God was calling him to run.

Marx teaches an online educational course for Turning Point Faith entitled "Freedom from Pornography." He also claims his 20-year-old son was at one point Charlie Kirk's assistant who "spent much time with Erika and their first baby girl." While Owens could not confirm he was Charlie's assistant, she notes Marx is not lying about his relationship with Erika. Pastor Victor Marx and his wife Eileen Marx were among the very first people to visit and comfort Erika in the days following Charlie's assassination, with cameras rolling to capture these intimate private moments.

Owens expresses disbelief that anyone would allow such invasive photography during grief, showing footage of Erika hugging Eileen for the first time after the assassination, set to the song "Held" by Natalie Grant and posted to Instagram. She also presents photos of Erika being comforted by Victor Marx in her own building approximately 72 hours after Charlie's death, questioning why they felt photography was appropriate in such personal moments of grief.

Victor Marx's Troubled Background

Owens reveals that Victor Marx's real name is Vaughn Victor Kennedy (though military records show "VO" without the N). By age 17, he had lived in 17 homes and attended 14 schools, involved with drugs, fights, and theft in high school. He regularly tells the story of abuse at the hands of his stepfather, a man he calls Mr. K, whose real name was Glory Dean Kennedy.

His stepfather served in the army doing counter intelligence and later ran an international drug smuggling ring out of Jamaica. He eventually pled guilty to conspiracy in 1987 for attempting to import 1,400 pounds of marijuana from Jamaica, with charges including money laundering, aiding, and abetting. He was sentenced to 14 years in prison. Victor's brother, Mike Kennedy, who became an attorney, also pled guilty as a co-conspirator in the drug trafficking ring, taking a plea deal to serve only a year and a day in exchange for testifying against his stepfather.

Victor's biological father, Karl Marx, was a pimp, drug dealer, and world-famous martial arts expert who spent time in a mental hospital for homicidal tendencies. His grandfather on his dad's side killed his grandmother before turning the gun on himself and committing suicide in public. Victor himself killed a man at age seven, though he makes clear his stepfather forced him to do it in a moment of terrifying abuse. He describes how his stepfather made him shoot a man in the head, then wiped the victim's blood on his face like they do when you kill your first deer, saying "that's your first kill of a man."

Owens notes that Victor claims he walked into a police station 40 years later to confess, but the officer told him it was okay since so much time had passed. She acknowledges some people struggle to believe his stories, but suggests it would be fair to assume that growing up in this environment, Victor Marx might have learned about moving illegal product across borders.

Marx's Military Service and Ministry

At age 18, Victor joined the Marine Corps, serving only two years during peacetime stateside with no deployments before being discharged. During this period in 1986, he says he found Jesus Christ while stationed at Camp Pendleton in California, beginning to attend the nearby Calvary Chapel. Owens notes this is her "personal favorite church at this point," referencing Calvary Chapel's long history of such characters becoming pastors.

In 1988, Marx married his wife Eileen Brining Marx, and they had five kids and grandkids. In 2003, he and his brother who received the light sentence began All Things Possible Ministries. However, in 2003, Eileen's brother Kenneth tried to shoot Victor on his own property. Kenneth would later kill his own girlfriend, for which he is currently awaiting trial.

Owens questions Marx's character as a husband and father, noting he openly admits to punching holes in the walls of his house about once a year, telling his wife and kids not to cover them up so people can see what he's done when they visit. He also openly states he struggles with suicidal and homicidal tendencies. Owens asks what it means to struggle with homicidal tendencies and sarcastically wishes Colorado good luck if this man wins the governor's race.

The Fold AR Connection

The story connects to Charlie Kirk through Corby Hall, a firearms manufacturer who invented the Fold AR, a uniquely compact rifle that remains fully assembled and deployable from a standard-sized backpack within seconds. Hall created this after a school shooting, becoming passionate about helping school resource officers have an AR they could keep in backpacks and deploy if necessary while remaining unassuming in schools.

On December 1st, 2023, at Victor Marx's request, Corby and his then-girlfriend Melody drove from Texas to Colorado Springs to provide a demo of the Fold AR. Melody had followed Marx on social media for years and noted he was seeking the ultimate compact weapons system for "high-risk missions." During the demo at Marx's gun range, he asked Corby to make a signature series rifle for him, proclaiming he felt the hand of God on them and that God told him abundance was headed their way.

During a meeting at the Marx home, Eileen questioned why Corby and Melody were not married. After learning Corby's story about being briefly falsely identified as a person of interest in the Columbine massacre in 1999, the Marxes went into another room. When they returned, they stated Eileen had a dream and vision the night before about being part of a greater mission to protect children. With the revealing of Corby's story, they concluded the mission would be helping get the Fold AR on the backs of school resource officers around the country.

Marx then performed what he described as a "retooling prayer" on both Corby and Melody. Owens explains that in these rituals, Marx pretends to summon and extract information from demons inside people, telling them to kneel in a circle in what parallels occult ritual frameworks. He confronts demons and demands they tell the truth about what God is trying to tell the person, commanding demons to reveal what God wants. Owens questions how demons have such power in this theology.

The Haiti Arms Trafficking Attempt

Following their initial meeting, they released the Victor Marx signature series rifle at Shot Show in 2024, with Marx attending their booth for several hours each of the four days. On January 24th, 2024, Marx married Corby and Melody in his hotel room with several industry friends present. Marx later appeared on Sebastian Gorka's America First show with Melody to discuss the Fold AR and his mission to put one on every school resource officer's back in America.

While All Things Possible Ministries purchased five Fold AR weapon systems for Lindale High School in Texas, no further participation was ever made or offered without explanation. In late fall 2024, Marx flew to Henderson, Texas to tour the Fold AR facilities. During this visit, Marx stated he needed 50 rifles for a mission to Haiti where he would drop off and leave the firearms. Corby responded that would constitute illegal exporting and he couldn't help, advising Marx not to do it with any other firearms either. He questioned what good dropping off firearms in Haiti would do anyway, receiving no material response from Marx.

In October 2024, Marx invited Corby to his Colorado Springs house, requesting he bring a 1,000-yard capable rifle with scope and scope camera mounted. When Corby arrived, Marx explained he was trying to protect an orphanage in Haiti and the team was already packing gear to leave shortly. He stated the long-range rifle and camera would be used to blow someone's head off if they attempted to scale the orphanage fence, with the video used as propaganda to deter further gang attempts.

Corby questioned his strategy and moral implications, offering a different solution: simply use a watermelon. He stated he would not leave the rifle if Marx was going to kill some random person with it. Marx eventually responded in slightly annoyed agreement, then explained his team was actually going to capture or execute Jimmy Barbecue, the top gang leader of Haiti at the time. Corby suggested Marx just go have a meeting with the guy and talk, then departed, leaving the long-range configured Fold AR rifle with him.

Marx's Haiti Mission

Owens shows a CBN News clip about Marx's Haiti mission. The report discusses how the FAA banned US flights to Haiti after three planes were hit by gunfire, with the leader of a deadly group of gangs at the center of chaos in Haiti's capital. After a visit from Marx, the gang leader pledged to protect orphanages and Christian workers. Marx states he responded to an urgent request from an orphanage under imminent threat of attack by the Moaza 400, considered Haiti's most notorious gang.

When gang leader Jimmy Barbecue Cherzier offered an interview, Marx and his team quickly accepted, despite entering his territory uninvited being all but suicidal. Marx claims Barbecue is "truly fighting for reformation and some level of better equality," stating he prayed with him. The clip shows Marx praying: "Pray you fill him with your spirit God. Give him new eyes of heart. Increase his capacity for love." Owens sarcastically calls this a "beautiful story" about evangelizing gangsters.

The Attempted Business Deal

In the first quarter of 2025, Marx offered to help find an investor for Fold AR, knowing Corby and Melody were barely scraping by financially with little margin and lots of risk in manufacturing rifles in a saturated volatile market. They were willing to make a deal on two conditions: guns would be used for school resource officers as the primary permanent mission, and they would receive enough money to no longer have to work.

As stress built up, Corby drove to Marx's house to discuss personal and business matters. When he arrived late at night, Marx and his COO Chaz Yandel met him at the hotel, both wearing bulletproof vests. Marx stated he intended to perform another retooling prayer on Corby, but Corby politely rejected the offer, advising it would be akin to making an idol of Marx, as continually seeking deliverance from man is man worship. Marx appeared to respect the rejection, though later revealed his underlying reaction.

Yandel stayed at the hotel that night in a room down the hall from Corby, with Marx's bodyguard nearby, all wearing bulletproof vests at all times. Marx represented they were just breaking in the vests. Corby spent three days with Marx discussing biblical prophecy, end times, underground bunkers, marriage, salvation, and finding a business investor.

Marx revealed he was discussing acquisition with Sig Sauer and their top shooter Daniel Horner, who Marx stated had received, tested, and given the thumbs up for Sig's involvement. He stated his accountants valued the company including the patent at only $2 million, then said he personally wanted to purchase 51% of the company. While Corby presented challenges to the proposal without initially accepting or rejecting it, Marx assumed he was on board.

The IDF Arms Deal Proposal

As they walked Marx's property discussing this, Marx stated the IDF needed Corby's guns. Corby responded enthusiastically that would be great since they have 3,700 schools. But Marx stopped walking and clarified: "No, they need 50,000 guns for operations in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria." Corby dead-stared him in the eyes waiting for a response. After telling his bodyguard to step back, Marx responded: "Do you know that I could whoop your ass right here and there's nothing that you could do about it?"

Corby remained motionless, staring Marx in the eyes with no response while Marx got fidgety. After about 15 seconds, Marx started walking again and said, "That's why I'm never going to engage in scripture with you," following prior discussions where Corby had challenged his plans and doctrine using scripture respectfully. During that walk, Corby reaffirmed he would not accept an investor or buyer who would not fully commit to the obvious mission of protecting children in schools.

While at Marx's residence, Marx showed Corby a structure being built behind his house including a large underground bunker, a front-facing firearm port built into the concrete structure, and an indoor shooting range. He stated the complex would be used for spiritual retooling of traumatized officers who worked child sex trafficking cases in partnership with local, state, and federal agencies, exclusively funded by donors.

The Relationship Ends

Days after Corby left, conversations continued in a different tone. Marx kept stating there was no longer a need for Fold AR in schools, citing school shooting statistics in error. Corby responded that despite any error in stats, temporary statistics don't matter while dormant sleeper cells are the issue. It became clear to Marx that a deal would not happen.

Marx asked if they were still friends. Corby responded yes, but stated he no longer considered Marx his or Melody's spiritual mentor and requested Marx not contact her anymore, discussing anything directly with him instead. That same day, Marx sent a group message to the couple he had married just a year prior, rambling about how much he had helped them before stating Corby was demonically influenced because he refused a retooling prayer. This pursuit of Melody caused friction and separation in Corby and Melody's relationship.

The Mysterious ATF Trace

On June 6th, 2024, Corby met with a Texas deputy who purchased a Fold AR with serial number 02735. About a month later on July 4th, 2024, the deputy contacted Corby stating the gun was stolen at a gas station in Midland, Texas. He claimed he accidentally left car windows down and someone grabbed the backpack with the Fold AR inside. The deputy claimed he reported it to local Midland police with no follow-up.

On September 10th, 2025, the morning of Charlie Kirk's assassination at 9:33 AM Central time—a full year and two months after the gun went missing—Corby received an email from the ATF conducting a trace on that exact gun. An ATF trace seeks to identify the first retail purchase of a firearm determined to be involved in a crime. The email effectively stated the gun was involved in a crime, asking where Corby sent it with 24 hours to respond.

Corby responded but mysteriously heard nothing back with no follow-up. Feeling weird about it given the assassination and circumstances surrounding the gun, Corby reached back out to the Texas deputy who sold the gun. The deputy said ATF never contacted him and that he checked a system he has access to showing the gun is somehow not even reported as missing. There has been no follow-up on that matter.

Owens confirms she has seen the forwarded ATF email and all evidence for everything Corby is saying. She believes his testimony about what happened, where his heart was when creating the Fold AR, and how people wanted to use his company. She calls the $2 million valuation ridiculous and states there is much more investigating needed, but the timing of the ATF trace is indeed odd and precise. She is looking into where he sold the gun and finds it already quite interesting.

Why This Story Matters

Owens explains she is sharing this story because they have spent months trying to dissuade the idea that something bigger could be going on. She has been stating something is not right specifically with Turning Point Faith's background history—the Calvary Chapel connections, Rob McCoy-type characters, their bizarre commitment to Israel first and foremost and always, their shady backgrounds, their connections to the military.

Now there is a stunning example of a person willing to testify about Victor Marx, his experience with Marx, what was asked of him, and what he declined to do for Israel. Owens notes the US government has been implicated many times in trafficking arms and doing deals overseas with the Taliban, ISIS, al-Qaeda, and rebels in the Middle East. She questions how militants get these weapons, referencing Angola Gate when people tried to pretend such trafficking was crazy.

She emphasizes this is real global trafficking and it's time to wake up to how the world really works. She points to Trump accidentally admitting during the White House Easter celebration that the US sent guns to protesters in Iran—something once deemed conspiracy that the Iranian government had claimed. Trump stated they sent many guns that were supposed to go to people so they could fight back against thugs, but the people they sent them to kept the guns. He expressed upset with a certain group of people who would pay a big price for that.

Owens asks viewers to imagine if Iran openly admitted on camera to sending guns to American protesters for an uprising against their government. She argues nothing they are telling us is real about what goes on in the Middle East, questioning how the military gets weapons into Iran and demanding follow-up questions about the plan and leadup.

The Bigger Picture

Owens introduces this story about Victor Marx to remove people from the media illusion that it is crazy to think pastors, churches, government, and multiple nations could all be involved in a trafficking ring. She reiterates it's not possible that everyone around Erika is so committed to trafficking charitably—rescuing people in high-risk situations. Marx claims to have dealt with the Taliban and ISIS, which Owens questions whether this is CIA contracting work.

She states she has said from the beginning that her sense is Charlie was betrayed. After looking at this for seven months, it is very obvious to her that these pastors claim to be evangelizing while saying they used to be arms traffickers or dealers before finding God. She calls this a perfect cover—continually claiming commitment to God and the Lord while committed to anything but, telling people they're demonic if they question it.

Owens expresses happiness to question everything Turning Point USA is doing, what they have done, and how long it has been going on. Her deep suspicion regarding the 2018 timeline is that it perfectly lines up with when Epstein went down. It seems there was an implosion across the nonprofit world with people suddenly getting into churches. Her deep suspicion is that they are looking at Epstein not having gone down but reemerging somewhere else, because something that global and big doesn't just go down overnight with one man—it gets a new head.

She vows to continue probing this narrative, expressing disbelief at people still pretending Erika is some perfect victim who just has all the wrong friends. She calls this stance dumb and states it's dumb to be dumb, which is why people should stop doing that.

Additional Context on Global Arms Trafficking

Owens addresses chat comments about arms being used to kill civilians in broad daylight, stating it is clear to her what is happening in this world and that "we are not the good guys." She warns viewers to be very wary of these sorts of pastors, noting Marx is running for governor of Colorado despite a checkered background, admitting to being brain damaged, and being caught lying extensively.

She compares this to Erika possibly having a bad memory, but notes it's never a bar to entry—they just welcome this at Turning Point USA. She references Greg Laurie and Harvest Church being accused of trafficking people from Romania, finding it incredible how this keeps happening to the very godly woman Charlie married. She notes none of her friends have this many people around them accused of trafficking, whether arms or children—zero percent of her friends.

Owens promises to continue investigating, planning to have Corby Hall on the show to further discuss the mysteriously disappeared gun. She will attempt to get a response from ATF, though she highly doubts it, as anything involving the Charlie Kirk assassination tends to receive no response. She expresses interest in knowing what crime the gun was associated with on September 10th, vowing to find out because they are nosy and not going away. She pledges to continue prodding the narrative regarding what happened and did not happen on September 10th.
