Candace Owens Interviews Military Eyewitness Mitch Snow Who Claims He Saw Brian Harpole and Erika Kirk at Fort Huachuca Meeting

Categories: Investigation
December 18, 2025

Candace Owens speaks with a former military intelligence soldier Mitch Snow who claims he witnessed what appeared to be Brian Harpole and Erika Kirk at Fort Huachuca the day before the Charlie Kirk incident. The witness, whose life was destroyed after discovering a major cartel tunnel in 1989, details his account of a high-level meeting on September 9th involving what he believes were Turning Point USA personnel and a congressman. After 35 years of government-imposed silence and cartel threats, this veteran shares his testimony about stumbling upon what may be a crucial piece of the Charlie Kirk investigation.

The Witness Comes Forward

Candace Owens begins by addressing the overwhelming response from law enforcement and military personnel who found certain aspects of the Charlie Kirk narrative particularly unbelievable. She explains her decision to bring forward an eyewitness from Fort Huachuca, understanding the firestorm both she and her guest are about to face. The witness, referred to as Mitch, is a military veteran whose life has been marked by extraordinary and difficult circumstances.

Unexplained Evidence in Charlie Kirk's Vehicle

Before the main interview, Owens addresses a viewer question about unusual debris visible in photos of Charlie Kirk's SUV. She confirms noticing what appeared to be black plastic fragmentation or tempered glass shards scattered across the vehicle's floor, particularly on the back seat rear floor area. While hesitant to draw definitive conclusions, she acknowledges the debris's unusual appearance, noting it could represent various possibilities including broken equipment, though the exact nature remains unclear.

Owens expresses caution about releasing additional photos to protect federal officers who have assisted in providing information, wanting to ensure these individuals are not identified and potentially fired for helping with the investigation.

Data Points That Don't Add Up

Owens systematically reviews the mysterious circumstances surrounding the Charlie Kirk case, emphasizing the lack of concrete evidence against Tyler Robinson. She lists several troubling facts:

  • The surgeon never confirmed Charlie was shot with a 30-06 or mentioned a steel neck, but rather suggested a frangible bullet may have been used
  • The lone confirmed eyewitness to the alleged shooter on the Loy Center rooftop has not been contacted by lawyers or investigators on either side, despite being a gun range instructor who claims the weapon looked like a .223, "something shorter than the one they found"
  • The eyewitness describes the person he saw wearing black tactical gear and a face mask, appearing professional
  • Bomb dogs failed to locate the weapon in the field where it was eventually discovered
  • The canines were not provided with the weapon's scent after discovery to trace it back to the rooftop
  • Terryl Farnsworth immediately removed the camera directly behind Charlie's head
  • Federal agents prevented the surgeon from returning to his operating room
  • Federal agents removed hospital surveillance footage during an active manhunt
  • The vehicle that transported Charlie to the hospital was not impounded
  • Multiple sets of fingerprints were found on the recovered weapon
  • Footage of Tyler Robinson turning himself in is reportedly missing

Owens disputes the official narrative that the parents voluntarily turned in their son, claiming instead that the family was given an ultimatum about their doors being broken down. She reports that police officers present when Tyler came in were told not to look at him and to avoid cameras.

Intelligence Operations Targeting Christianity

Owens transitions to discussing what she describes as the infiltration of Christianity by military intelligence operations. She references her previous coverage of problematic patterns within Calvary Chapel leadership, including the placement of former criminals in pastoral positions with access to children. She specifically mentions Rob McCoy and what she perceives as dangerous practices within certain church circles.

She also addresses Christian influencers and conservative media figures with backgrounds in military intelligence, naval intelligence, and foreign intelligence services who have positioned themselves as faith leaders. Owens suggests this represents a broader pattern of faith communities being infiltrated by intelligence operations.

Fort Huachuca: An Intelligence Training Hub

Owens explains that Fort Huachuca is not a traditional military base but rather an intelligence training facility where civilians can be turned into intelligence assets. She shares correspondence from military personnel explaining that Fort Huachuca is where soldiers attend MIT (Army Military Intelligence Training) courses after basic training for advanced training in their intelligence specializations.

She then shares a detailed email from someone who grew up near the base in Sierra Vista. This person recounts opening a gym in May 2013 and encountering a couple who were "on fire for the Lord" and became founding members with a sizable investment. According to the account, this couple later staged what amounted to a hostile takeover of the gym, undermining the owners while pretending to be friends, ultimately forcing the business to relocate and downsize.

Training to Infiltrate Christian Organizations

The email continues with a remarkable account from 2015, when a distressed female military member lingered after a gym class. During a 45-minute conversation, she allegedly revealed she "could not take it anymore" and described a class at Fort Huachuca taught by someone named Bruce Bevans, whom she called "the most evil man she had ever met."

According to this account, the class objective was teaching military personnel to infiltrate Christian groups and organizations through covert psychological operations, with training focused specifically on deceiving Christians. The gym owner now wonders if the earlier infiltration and destruction of their business was actually a training exercise or field assignment.

The email describes two other military students who shared similar stories about their training, including overnight field training missions in Tucson where they practiced deceiving civilians at bars and public venues, telling lies, remembering those lies, and maintaining false personas without breaking character. The students allegedly laughed about their conquests, with some deception apparently extending to sexual encounters with targets.

Owens states that on a fundamental level, she believes this account is accurate and reflects patterns she has observed throughout the year regarding pastors and Christian influencers behaving like operatives.

Mitch's Background: The Cartel Tunnel Discovery

The interview begins with Mitch recounting his experience as a young soldier assigned to JTF6 (Joint Task Force 6) at the border near Douglas, Arizona. At 20 years old, he was part of a 10th Mountain unit sent to replace a Marine Corps unit after an incident. His team's mission involved placing sensors along the border to detect crossings.

After installing approximately 80 sensors, they began receiving what appeared to be glitch signals. Mitch, having just completed updated training, realized the signals were not glitches but rather subterranean movement indicating an underground tunnel. Working with a Border Patrol officer, they triangulated the signals and pinpointed the tunnel's location, providing the probable cause needed for a warrant and a coordinated raid with Mexican authorities.

The discovery turned out to be the largest cartel tunnel ever found at that time. However, what should have been a career-making achievement became a nightmare when photos recovered from the Mexican side showed a US commander with the Border Patrol posed with Mexican military and cartel figures, revealing that American officials had helped build and maintain the tunnel for at least six months before Mitch's team arrived.

35 Years of Persecution

Following the tunnel discovery, Mitch was subjected to a 35-year gag order preventing him from discussing what happened. During this time, his personal information was fed to the cartels, forcing him to change his name and live on the run. His family accumulated debt fighting legal battles, with the government refusing to protect or assist him despite the threats stemming directly from his military service.

People came through his windows. Court documents verify the ongoing harassment and attempts to bury records of what occurred. Every attempt to seek answers or obtain original documentation has been met with obstruction, with Mitch describing feeling like he steps on more toes the higher up the chain he goes.

After his gag order finally expired in May of this year (the original transcript says "this year" but appears to mean the 35th anniversary would have been around 2024), Mitch decided to visit Fort Huachuca to obtain original records from the Criminal Investigative Division and finally get answers about why his life had been effectively ruined for following orders.

September 8th: Arrival at Fort Huachuca

Mitch booked a room at the Candlewood Inn and Suites on Fort Huachuca for September 8th. After some delays getting a rental car in Tucson, he arrived at the base that evening. He was struck to discover the hotel was actually his former barracks from AIT training, now converted.

While checking in, he noticed a man on the couch who stood out - appearing to be 35-40 years old with what Mitch describes as a "professional military sheen" suggesting special forces background, possibly contract work. As someone with special forces experience himself, Mitch almost approached the man to ask what group he was with and thank him for his service.

This man was soon joined by a well-kept woman who was clearly "dressing down" despite being well-off. Mitch particularly noticed her striking blue eyes, which reminded him uncomfortably of an ex who had caused him problems. He even mentioned the woman's distinctive eyes to his wife on the phone that evening.

The pair got into a large, shiny green truck that appeared to be a GSA (Government Services Administration) vehicle and drove off. Mitch went to dinner at a Mexican sushi restaurant in Sierra Vista, then returned to the hotel for the night.

September 9th: The Morning Meeting

Mitch woke early on September 9th wanting to see the sunrise and reminisce about his time at the base decades earlier. He spoke with base police who tried to give him directions to CID (Criminal Investigative Division), but the old World War II-era buildings built on Alamo-era foundations were poorly marked, leading him on a wild goose chase.

While trying to document his journey (thinking he would finally get justice), Mitch accidentally recorded an 18-minute video while getting directions. He eventually decided to get coffee and wake up properly. While wandering, he noticed signs for JTF (Joint Task Force) headquarters. After getting coffee and encountering some 10th Mountain personnel there for JTF work, he asked for directions to headquarters.

Following detailed instructions from a gate guard, Mitch arrived at what appeared to be a temporary setup for a new command - a building with barbed wire around the field but an open parking lot. He parked and called his wife, telling her he would call back in a few minutes after seeing what they said. He ended up unable to call her back for seven hours.

The High-Level Meeting

Upon entering the building, Mitch immediately noticed a significant number of high-ranking personnel and an unusual buzz of activity. He spoke briefly with a captain at the front desk about his purpose, then waited while the captain went to get someone.

While standing at the front, the man he had seen the previous evening at the hotel walked out from inside the building and stood waiting at the front doors. Three more people then appeared, including someone who "looked like a congressman" - wearing a flag pin and congressman-style suit. Two other individuals were with this person, trying to talk with him in what appeared to be a serious but animated conversation.

Military personnel including lieutenant colonels and the unit sergeant major escorted this group out to a GSA vehicle. The sergeant major returned, and Mitch was chatting with him about his tabs (teasing him about not having a long tab, while the sergeant major had Ranger and Air Assault tabs) when several captains came around corners and escorted Mitch out of the building.

Detained and Interrogated

Mitch thought he was being arrested, not understanding what he had done wrong. He had been polite and discreet, giving his name, the missions he had been attached to, and explaining his purpose. The captains escorted him across the parking lot to park benches, where he spoke with Captain Neff, described as a decent gentleman.

As Mitch began telling his story, the other captain went to get the sergeant major. Before long, multiple police cruisers arrived with law enforcement officers from different levels of government surrounding Mitch and creating a wall between him and the front door. He noticed what appeared to be the same or another GSA vehicle returning to the building but could not see who got in it.

The situation escalated into what Mitch describes as a major overreaction. Officers interrogated him, attempting to gaslight him and asking if he was some sort of spy. They mentioned a bomb threat and wanted to check his vehicle, suggesting that because he was special forces, he must represent some kind of bomb threat.

A woman in plain clothes, undercover, wearing big sunglasses - who Mitch guessed might be Secret Service - seemed to be conducting the operation. She would not approach Mitch directly but directed how others would approach him, ask questions, and obtain his documents.

Authorities repeatedly mentioned wanting to ensure what would happen in the "next 24 hours," with that specific timeframe being repeated multiple times. Eventually, they took Mitch to what turned out to be the CID building, recorded him, and asked questions, but provided none of the documentation he had come for. They gave him a report number, which he provided to Candace Owens.

Unable to find any justification to hold him and determining he was not a harm to himself or others or there for espionage, they told him to stay off base for 24 hours. Mitch immediately left for Tucson, stayed in a hotel, and never received a refund from Candlewood Suites. On his flight home with a stop in Salt Lake City, he learned about the Charlie Kirk incident.

The Identification

Mitch explains that while he was not familiar with Turning Point USA and could only vaguely recognize Charlie Kirk, when he began seeing coverage of the incident and noticed someone in a ponytail with distinctive eyes, he immediately recognized this as the woman from the Fort Huachuca hotel lobby the evening of September 8th.

When asked to put a percentage on his certainty that he saw Brian Harpole, Mitch states 95-99%, explaining that when he saw Harpole in interviews, the face and gestures struck him viscerally. He describes recognizing the same mannerisms, crick in the neck, facial features, waxy appearance, hand gestures, shoulder shrug, gait, approximate height, and haircut of the man who walked past him at the JTF headquarters on September 9th.

Regarding the woman with the ponytail and striking blue eyes, Mitch puts his certainty at 95-99% that this person matches Erika Kirk based on photos from her past. He emphasizes that those "really rare eyes" make the identification particularly strong.

Candace Owens shows Mitch photos of various congressmen without telling him where they were from. He identifies one as the man in the congressman suit with 95% certainty - later revealed to be Mark from Las Vegas (a congressman from Nevada based on Owens' investigation).

Corroborating Evidence

Owens explains that she has been able to confirm every step of Mitch's story through metadata, documentation, and independent verification with people currently at Fort Huachuca. She has confirmed the location, timing, and that a major meeting took place. While she cannot independently verify the identifications, she can verify his presence and the circumstances.

She reveals that through flight tracking, they identified a call sign at Fort Huachuca that morning belonging to someone "heavy duty" who made sure to turn off their transponder. The call sign later changed at a certain time, which could indicate the transponder was transferred to a congressman. Owens speculates this could potentially have been Kash Patel or another high-level official.

Owens believes the reason multiple law enforcement officers surrounded Mitch was specifically to block his view of whoever was walking out of that building, preventing him from seeing who was at that meeting.

The Decision to Come Forward

Owens shares her internal conflict about bringing Mitch on the show. She struggled with the fact that while she could verify where he was and when, she could not independently confirm his identifications. She worried about people wrongly extrapolating or assuming guilt by association, noting that even if Erika Kirk was at Fort Huachuca, it could have been for unrelated reasons given her mother's military connections in Arizona.

However, Owens ultimately decided that turning her back on a military hero who had already suffered tremendously would be wrong. She describes receiving Mitch's contact information as an answer to prayer - literally the first email she saw after attending church on a day of holy obligation and praying for a missing piece of the investigation. Out of 51,000 unread emails, this was the one that appeared, and she called just four minutes after it was sent.

Owens frames her decision as a matter of conscience, stating this is not her platform but rather God's platform, and she is merely a conduit. She does not know why Mitch has such extraordinary luck in stumbling upon significant events, but she believes his testimony deserves to be heard.

Mitch's Motivation

Mitch acknowledges that coming forward does not help his situation and will likely aggravate his already difficult circumstances. However, he emphasizes that truth matters. He notes there are many people in the military who see things but stay quiet to avoid conflict, to "stay nice."

He explains that he had to pray about whether to come forward, understanding the personal cost. He never imagined Candace Owens would call him - he simply wanted to provide a tip as she pulled on threads of the investigation. The rapid response surprised both him and his contact.

Mitch expresses appreciation for Baron Coleman's work and encourages continued investigation. He thanks Owens for her willingness to listen and provide a platform for his testimony despite the risks to both of them.

Moving Forward

Candace Owens commits to standing with Mitch and his family, promising to establish a fundraiser to help with the legal costs he has incurred fighting the federal government over decades. She acknowledges the hell his family has endured simply because he did his job and performed his duty honorably.

Owens expresses her disgust with government corruption and the protection of bad actors while good men are persecuted. She emphasizes that her audience consists of fighters who will support Mitch just as they have supported her investigations.

She promises this is just the first conversation and makes clear that Mitch has an ally in her moving forward, whatever comes next from this revelation.
