Charlie’s MURDER Sparks COLLEGE STUDENTS to Boldly Preach the Gospel!

[00:01] it this past week with Charlie Kirk

[00:05] martyed for his faith.

[00:06] >> Do you think we are heading towards the

[00:08] end of times?

[00:09] >> This is about a people's eternal

[00:10] salvation. And it's not a time to get

[00:12] silent. It's not a time to get quiet.

[00:14] It's not a time to be anxious and afraid

[00:16] and in fear.

[00:17] >> After the murder of Charlie Kirk, I

[00:19] realized the stuff I was doing, oh, how

[00:21] meaningless it was in the grand scheme

[00:23] of things.

[00:24] >> No more fear, no more regret, but he's

[00:26] filling you and empowering you even now.

[00:28] I was walking up to a girl sitting at

[00:30] the table. So, I actually found out

[00:32] she's never heard the gospel.

[00:33] >> I've never deliberately evangelized

[00:35] before. I've done nothing greater than

[00:37] this before. Truly,

[00:39] >> we returned to Eastern Kentucky

[00:41] University on the Jesus's King College

[00:43] tour to preach the gospel to this

[00:45] generation and equip them on how to

[00:47] share their faith. As I preached the

[00:49] gospel, tons of students gathered

[00:50] around. And as I gave a call for those

[00:52] who wanted to repent and put their faith

[00:54] in Jesus, we had tons of students who

[00:57] prayed along with us. Amen. Yeah. Let's

[00:59] give Jesus some praise.

[01:02] Thank you, Lord, for every heart that

[01:03] you just changed. And before moving on

[01:06] to Q&A, I felt led to talk about Charlie

[01:08] Kirk's assassination and combat some of

[01:11] the schemes of the devil that came along

[01:13] with that. There's a lot of things that

[01:14] are going to take place. There's a lot

[01:16] of trials and tribulation that are going

[01:17] to go on. A lot of persecution,

[01:20] reproaches, people being martyed. We're

[01:22] already, we've already saw it this past

[01:24] week with Charlie Kirk,

[01:28] martyed for his faith, martyed for the

[01:30] truth. Everywhere he went, preaching the

[01:32] gospel. Maybe you're Christian, you

[01:34] don't believe with his political views.

[01:36] Push that stuff aside. He was preaching

[01:38] the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was

[01:41] preaching the love of God wherever he

[01:43] went. He was preaching repentance, the

[01:45] true gospel. So things are coming upon

[01:47] the earth, right? But this shouldn't

[01:50] make us shy away from preaching the

[01:52] gospel. This shouldn't make us shy away

[01:55] from speaking the truth. This should not

[01:57] make us fear because that's what the

[01:59] devil wants. That's what the enemy

[02:00] wants. He wants us to shut our mouths

[02:02] and stop proclaiming the truth. Why?

[02:04] Because Jesus said the truth will set

[02:06] you free. This is about a people's

[02:08] eternal salvation. And it's not a time

[02:10] to get silent. It's not a time to get

[02:12] quiet. It's not a time to be anxious and

[02:14] afraid and in fear. You see, God will

[02:17] deliver us as Christians

[02:20] up until maybe it's the point for us to

[02:22] come and be with him and we would finish

[02:24] our race. Who are we to try to keep our

[02:27] own lives? But God, our lives are

[02:29] entrusted to you. Right? If it's time

[02:32] for us to go and be with him, let's be

[02:33] real. Jesus said if we try to keep our

[02:36] lives, we're going to lose it. But if we

[02:38] lose our life for his name's sake, we're

[02:40] going to find it. I feel urged by the

[02:43] Holy Spirit to speak about this right

[02:45] now. So, the enemy wants to silence the

[02:48] truth. He wants to silence the gospel.

[02:51] He wants us to get in fear and anxiety.

[02:54] But we haven't been given a spirit of

[02:56] fear, but we've been given a spirit of

[02:58] power, love, and a sound mind. Perfect

[03:00] love cast out fear. The Bible says, "Do

[03:02] not fear, for I am with you. Be not

[03:04] dismayed, for I am your God. I will

[03:06] strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. I

[03:08] will uphold you with my righteous right

[03:10] hand." the Old Testament, it says, "Even

[03:11] though I walk through the valley of the

[03:13] shadow of death, I will fear no evil,

[03:15] for you are with me. Your rod and your

[03:17] staff, they comfort me." God's breaking

[03:20] fear off of people right now. As the

[03:22] truth is being spoken out of God's word,

[03:24] I'm telling you, there's fear that's

[03:26] being broken off of people right now as

[03:27] I'm speaking. I command every spirit of

[03:29] fear that's tried to keep people silent,

[03:32] that's tried to cause people anxiety and

[03:34] worry and tried to cause them not to

[03:35] love Jesus with all their heart and not

[03:37] to follow him. I command every unclean

[03:39] spirit of fear to go now in Jesus name.

[03:42] We decree Jesus is king over Richmond.

[03:45] Jesus is king over Kentucky. Jesus is

[03:48] king over America. And Jesus is king

[03:51] over the entire world. We decree that

[03:52] now in the mighty name of Jesus. The

[03:55] gospel will not be stopped. The gospel

[03:57] will not be silenced, but we're going to

[03:59] go forth as believers, as Christians

[04:02] filled with the boldness of the Holy

[04:03] Spirit. So, we got to move forward in

[04:05] love. We got to move forward with the

[04:08] truth. And we can't let fear ever hold

[04:10] us back ever

[04:13] because the devil, he's not done. The

[04:15] reality is he's angry and he's waging

[04:17] war because he knows his time is short.

[04:20] He's not done. But I can tell you for

[04:23] me, and I know there are many other

[04:25] people here, we're not going out without

[04:27] a fight. First off, we have the victory

[04:29] already in Jesus' name. But if it comes

[04:32] time for any of us to finish our race,

[04:35] no matter what age we're at, Jesus 33,

[04:39] Charlie 31,

[04:42] we got to continue to follow Jesus no

[04:44] matter what because he's faithful. He's

[04:48] good. He's given us eternal life. and

[04:51] the worst somebody can do to us is push

[04:54] us into him.

[04:55] >> As we transitioned to Q&A, we had a long

[04:57] line of students line up, some

[04:59] believers, some unbelievers, and we had

[05:01] all types of questions.

[05:03] >> So, how can you tell them that they are

[05:04] free from sin at this moment after

[05:06] saying a prayer and they haven't been

[05:08] led to the water? Do you think we are

[05:10] heading towards the end of times?

[05:11] >> I was curious your thoughts on uh if

[05:13] Zionism is biblical.

[05:15] >> You always get hate thrown at you and

[05:17] you just let it fly over your head and

[05:18] I'm just wondering how you do that.

[05:19] What's the difference between hearing

[05:21] God's voice, your voice, or something

[05:23] else?

[05:23] >> Since tattoos are sometimes considered a

[05:26] ceremonal sin in the Old Testament, what

[05:28] is your perspective on that?

[05:30] >> We'll be releasing several of those

[05:32] conversations. So, make sure to keep an

[05:33] eye out for those after students asked

[05:35] questions. They came over and we offered

[05:38] them a free shirt and we had some of our

[05:40] team members there to answer any

[05:41] additional questions that they had as

[05:43] well as to pray for them. And we even

[05:45] had students coming up not to get a free

[05:47] shirt or because they asked a question,

[05:49] but just to receive ministry from some

[05:51] of those team members. As we finished

[05:53] the event, I got to meet so many

[05:54] students who came up and shared how

[05:56] grateful they were for all that God was

[05:58] doing through the event. And there was

[05:59] one girl who came up to me and said that

[06:01] she had been walking by earlier while I

[06:03] was preaching and she was really

[06:04] impacted, but she couldn't stay because

[06:06] she was on her way to class.

[06:08] >> There were people coming up to the mic

[06:09] and I had to get to class. I was like, I

[06:10] have got to see if I can come speak to

[06:12] him

[06:12] >> because I was truly so motivated. Like,

[06:14] I'm tearing up right now. Your message

[06:16] and your passion really.

[06:19] >> Hallelujah. Yeah. That that's all him

[06:21] him working in and through me. We didn't

[06:22] catch this on camera, but when she

[06:24] initially came up and started talking to

[06:26] me, she expressed that she really wanted

[06:28] to become a Christian. So, I walked her

[06:30] through the gospel and asked her if she

[06:32] was willing to repent and put her faith

[06:34] in Christ. Are you willing to make that

[06:37] change of heart and change of mind? I

[06:39] don't want to live a self-centered,

[06:41] sinful life, but God, I'm turning to

[06:43] you. And do you believe that Jesus is

[06:46] your Lord? Um, that he died for your

[06:48] sins. Yeah. Yeah. Amen. Can I pray with

[06:50] you really quick? Yeah. Can I lead you

[06:52] through a prayer? Okay. And it just goes

[06:54] to show how ready people are to call

[06:56] upon Jesus and the need for Christians

[06:59] to go out and preach the gospel. Every

[07:01] college we go to, we have an evening

[07:02] session that includes evangelism

[07:04] training. And last semester when we came

[07:06] to EKU, we had around 15 students that

[07:09] showed up. But this semester, we had

[07:11] over 80 students that came out. We

[07:14] started out with worship and moved into

[07:16] a message, ending with ministry time and

[07:20] Q&A. But during our ministry time, the

[07:23] Lord was really moving upon people's

[07:25] hearts and even releasing specific words

[07:28] over people's lives. God, I thank you

[07:30] for bringing a deep healing to his

[07:32] heart, even a compassion. uh you're

[07:34] you're placing a deep compassion in his

[07:36] heart even for the lost right now.

[07:39] Father, I thank you for it.

[07:42] Jesus mighty name. No more fear, no more

[07:45] regret from this moment forward. No more

[07:50] uh feeling like you let the Lord down or

[07:52] you haven't been doing exactly what he's

[07:54] called you to, but he's filling you and

[07:56] empowering you even now to boldly obey

[08:00] and say yes to him continually. Father,

[08:03] I thank you for a deep work of

[08:04] compassion and love in his heart. Lord,

[08:07] even like uh the prophet Jeremiah said,

[08:10] it's like a fire shut up in my bones

[08:12] that I can't hold back the word of God.

[08:15] Lord, I thank you. It's going to be a

[08:17] love and a compassion that he can't hold

[08:19] back. He can't keep silent any longer.

[08:21] It's like going to be like a a bursting

[08:24] forth of love and the word of God out of

[08:27] your mouth that you've wanted to speak

[08:28] boldly for so long. But uh he's given

[08:32] you the boldness. So it's it's going to

[08:33] feel so good even to release the word

[08:36] and everything that he's called you to

[08:38] be filled with the Holy Spirit in Jesus

[08:40] mighty name. Father, I thank you for it.

[08:43] Lord, any witchcraft that's tried to

[08:45] attack her life, any manipulation or

[08:48] intimidation or people trying to

[08:50] manipulate her or those ways being in

[08:53] even uh around her, anyone that that it

[08:56] may have been uh that was trying to even

[08:59] exercise witchcraft on her or have her

[09:01] thinking uh or using carnal ways.

[09:05] Father, I thank you for delivering her,

[09:08] for rescuing her, that she's yours.

[09:11] You've claimed her to be your own and

[09:13] witchcraft has no power over her in the

[09:16] mighty name of Jesus. Be filled with the

[09:17] Holy Spirit. And Lord, I thank you that

[09:20] you're pushing anything else out that's

[09:21] not of you. That her body is your temple

[09:25] for your use, for your glory. Be filled

[09:28] with the Holy Spirit. All fear go in

[09:30] Jesus' name. Did the Lord reveal himself

[09:33] even now through any kind of feeling to

[09:36] anyone? Yeah. Okay. What What did you

[09:39] experience? As I was standing up here

[09:42] and you put your hand on me and you

[09:43] prayed over me, I couldn't help but just

[09:46] burst into tears because I just felt

[09:49] this

[09:52] I just felt light in a way and so much

[09:55] peace in a way that I don't I don't know

[09:59] I don't even know how to describe it.

[10:01] >> I felt a lot of things through it. One

[10:03] thing you mentioned was

[10:06] manipulation which I've experienced

[10:08] throughout my whole life.

[10:10] And I felt

[10:13] like I've finally been able to forgive

[10:17] the people that have done that.

[10:20] >> Amen. Praise God. Amen. Forgiveness

[10:23] really sets us free. Yeah. Amen. That's

[10:27] amazing. Thank you, Lord, for all that

[10:29] you're doing.

[10:32] The next day, we had a personal

[10:33] evangelism outreach. And similar to how

[10:36] our evening session exponentially grew,

[10:39] last semester we had around four

[10:41] students who came out for the bangalism

[10:43] outreach, but this year we had around 50

[10:46] students. And I believe the reason

[10:47] behind this growth has to do with

[10:49] Charlie Kirk's murder. Even though the

[10:51] enemy meant it for evil, we know that

[10:53] God is able to work all things together

[10:55] for good to those who love him and are

[10:58] called according to his purpose. And we

[11:00] actually had two different people tell

[11:02] us the reason that they came was because

[11:04] of what happened to Charlie.

[11:06] >> See, this is totally out of my comfort

[11:08] zone going out and speaking to people

[11:10] about Jesus. But since the death of

[11:13] Charlie Kirk, there's such a great need

[11:15] for it. was after the the murder of

[11:17] Charlie Kirk. I realized the stuff I was

[11:20] doing, oh, how meaningless it was in the

[11:22] grand scheme of things. When I could be

[11:24] helping people who don't need me to be

[11:28] really good at math and engineering, but

[11:30] what they do need is someone to love

[11:32] them and to share the gospel with them.

[11:34] We started out the event with a short

[11:36] training and some tips on how to

[11:38] effectively share your faith. And then

[11:40] we broke up into groups of two to three

[11:42] and sent the students out to go witness.

[11:44] I led a few groups myself and we had

[11:47] some great conversations where multiple

[11:49] people gave their lives to Jesus and we

[11:52] planted and watered seeds in other

[11:54] people's lives. And I'm always so amazed

[11:57] as the students come back and we wrap up

[11:59] the outreach to hear their personal

[12:01] encounters and some of the things that

[12:03] God did. Were you facing any temptations

[12:06] or hindrances uh before you came out

[12:08] today?

[12:09] >> I was a little nervous. I love going

[12:11] evangelizing, but sometimes I just face

[12:13] a little bit of nervousness before I go.

[12:15] >> Just like some nervousness, some some

[12:17] fear, anxiety. I was scared to preach

[12:20] the gospel. I actually didn't know I was

[12:22] going to do that. Uh when I went into

[12:23] the group, I found out we were going to

[12:24] other people. And I was like, "Oh, I

[12:26] didn't know that that we in our safe

[12:27] zone."

[12:28] >> I woke up this morning trying to like

[12:30] get out of bed, be ready on time, and I

[12:32] woke up and was like, "All right, it's

[12:33] time to go evangelize." And I kept

[12:35] feeling like this weight, this fear is

[12:37] like, "You don't need to go talk to

[12:38] people today. you can just you can just

[12:39] get back in bed. It's not a big deal.

[12:41] You don't have to go. I didn't feel like

[12:42] I wanted to get up and I immediately

[12:43] stopped myself. I'm like, no, this is

[12:45] what God has me doing today and devil,

[12:48] you aren't going to stop me. I'm here.

[12:49] I'm a mom. I'm here with my daughter.

[12:51] I'm on a campus with all these young

[12:53] people. I felt this nervousness. I just

[12:55] thought, well, I could step back and I'm

[12:57] like, no, that's not what God called me

[12:59] to do. God called us to make disciples

[13:01] of all nations. As we got going, I was a

[13:03] little nervous, but the more um I

[13:06] allowed myself to just focus on Jesus

[13:08] and allow the Holy Spirit to work, the

[13:10] more comfortable I felt.

[13:12] >> What is one testimony that you could

[13:13] share from what God did today?

[13:15] >> I was walking up to a girl sitting at

[13:17] the table. I was like, "Do you know

[13:18] Jesus?" And she's like, "Yeah, yeah, I

[13:20] do." And I wanted to push a little more.

[13:23] Like what you said like kind of really

[13:25] touched me like just push a little more

[13:26] and see like where that relationship

[13:27] stands. And so I actually found out

[13:29] she's never heard the gospel. So, she

[13:31] just thought reading the Bible means,

[13:32] you know, she's a believer now. And so,

[13:34] I got to sit down and explain the gospel

[13:36] to her. And as I was explaining, I was

[13:38] like, "Would you want to give your life

[13:40] to Jesus?" And she's like, "Yes." And

[13:42] she just got excited. She's like, "I've

[13:44] never heard the gospel." And so, I

[13:46] prayed with her, she received Jesus, got

[13:48] connected, and I mean, she was like

[13:50] crying and so thankful. And I'm like,

[13:51] "Ah, that's why we do it." Like, the joy

[13:53] of the Lord that filled me, filled her,

[13:56] it's so worth it, you know? just go out

[13:58] there and preach the good news.

[14:00] >> Amen. So worth it compared to just those

[14:03] wimpy temptations of fear and selffocus

[14:06] and insecurity and all that and pushing

[14:08] beyond those and obeying him. Then we

[14:11] get to see him do such amazing things

[14:14] even like you just shared. That's

[14:15] amazing. Thank you, God. How do you feel

[14:17] now that the outreach is over?

[14:19] >> Like I said, I've never deliberately

[14:21] evangelized before.

[14:22] >> I've done nothing greater than this

[14:24] before. Truly, it gave me such

[14:26] fulfillment doing this. Uh it's such out

[14:28] of my comfort zone. I I kind of struggle

[14:30] going up to people and talking and I

[14:32] loved it. I loved it.

[14:33] >> To see other people that are like

[14:35] wanting to be hungry and spread the

[14:36] gospel was really inspiring. Uh

[14:38] especially like younger people and they

[14:41] want to get out there and push past like

[14:43] fear, comfort zone, and share Jesus. It

[14:44] just like inspired me to to do that more

[14:46] too. You know, when you see someone come

[14:48] to the Lord, like I just picture all of

[14:49] heaven rejoicing because that's really

[14:51] what the Bible teaches us that all of

[14:53] heaven rejoices over every lost soul

[14:55] that comes to God. And I'm like, man,

[14:57] all of heaven is throwing a party right

[14:59] now. And I'm like, I'm going to throw

[15:00] more parties for heaven. So, I want to

[15:03] reach more people for for Jesus.

[15:05] >> Yeah.

[15:05] >> Yeah.

[15:05] >> You're like a party planner for heaven.
