How to Save America: Local Activism and Fighting for Your Community's Future

September 25, 2025

America is at a turning point, but the solution isn't found in Washington, it's in your neighborhood. This conversation breaks down the urgent need for grassroots activism, from dissolving corrupt teachers unions to running for local school boards. The message is clear: politics may not interest you, but politics is already involved in your life. Whether it's fighting anti-American curriculum in schools or supporting conservative candidates at the community level, change starts with individuals willing to step up. You don't need wealth or connections, just commitment to preserving Judeo-Christian values and the standard of living that makes America exceptional.

America at a Turning Point

A significant portion of America has reached a breaking point. People across the country are fed up and willing to band together in ways they haven't before. This moment represents a genuine turning point in the minds of everyday Americans. But awareness alone isn't enough—the critical question becomes: what can we actually do about it?

The Long Road to Restoration

The path forward requires electing more people who hold beliefs rooted in Judeo-Christian values and the sanctity of life. This isn't just about policy positions—it's about teaching people to value human life, to respect one another rather than being willing to commit senseless violence. The journey to restore America to its foundational principles is a long process that demands sustained effort, dedicated people, and financial resources.

Money and Politics: A Necessary Investment

Many people devote significant money to universities, libraries, and hospitals, which are worthwhile causes. However, there's a critical need to also invest in politics. Some people claim they're not involved in politics, but this is a dangerous delusion. You may not be involved in politics, but politics is absolutely involved with you. Every aspect of your life—from education to healthcare to public safety—is shaped by political decisions made by elected officials.

The Crisis in American Education

One of the most alarming developments in recent years is what's being taught in schools across America. In high schools and junior high schools, students are being indoctrinated with the idea that America is fundamentally a racist country. Instead of learning about American exceptionalism and the values that built this nation, young people are being taught the supposed evils of America. This represents a direct assault on the country's future.

Dissolving the Teachers Unions

The teachers unions have become a major obstacle to educational reform and truth in the classroom. These organizations protect teachers who push anti-American philosophy onto impressionable young minds, teaching children to hate their own country. This situation has become so severe that those responsible should face serious consequences for undermining American values from within the education system. The teachers unions must be dissolved to restore sanity and patriotism to American schools.

Local Politics: Where Real Change Happens

Real change doesn't start at the federal level—it starts in local communities. Consider the example of a school board near one neighborhood with five members: three leftists and two common-sense conservatives. The conservatives consistently get outvoted, allowing harmful policies to continue. This pattern repeats across thousands of communities nationwide. The solution is voting the right people into these positions—individuals who will stand for traditional American values and quality education.

The work happens at the individual community level. You don't need to save the entire world—focus on saving your own community. Get involved in local governance. Run for local office, even if it's not a high-profile position like mayor. School board positions, planning associations, and other local bodies desperately need good people willing to serve.

Taking Action Without Breaking the Bank

One common misconception is that political involvement requires significant wealth. This simply isn't true. Running for a school board or becoming a council member doesn't demand large sums of money. What it requires is willingness—the commitment to step up and serve your community. Joining a local conservative chapter costs nothing but time and effort. Supporting a candidate doesn't require massive donations—even small contributions and volunteer hours make a difference.

The HOA Example: Every Platform Matters

Political engagement can happen in unexpected places. One speaker mentioned serving on their HOA board specifically for these reasons. While it takes time and effort, it's necessary work. If you want to maintain the great country we have and preserve the standard of living Americans enjoy, you must get involved. No position is too small, no organization too local. Every platform where decisions are made about how communities function is an opportunity to influence the direction of the country.

The Bottom Line

America stands at a crossroads. The path forward isn't mysterious or complicated—it requires engaged citizens willing to invest time, effort, and resources into local political action. From dismantling corrupt teachers unions to serving on neighborhood boards, every action counts. The choice is simple: get involved or watch the country continue its decline. Politics is already involved in your life whether you acknowledge it or not. The only question is whether you'll participate in shaping that involvement or remain a passive victim of others' decisions.

[00:00] You don't have to think about how you're

[00:01] going to save the world. Save your

[00:04] communities.

[00:06] >> America, a good portion of it is fed up.

[00:09] >> Fed up.

[00:10] >> And they're willing to band together

[00:11] now.

[00:11] >> And people are saying this is a turning

[00:13] point. Not to overuse that phrase.

[00:16] >> It is a turning point in people's minds.

[00:18] But what can we do about it? Right? This

[00:20] is the question. We have to vote in more

[00:23] people who have the beliefs that you and

[00:26] I do in Judeo-Christian values. about

[00:30] the sanctity of life. And I I'm not

[00:32] getting into the abortion thing, about

[00:34] the value of life. You have to be taught

[00:36] to value people, not to be willing to

[00:40] just slit their throat on a bus for no

[00:42] particular reason. But it's it's a it's

[00:45] a long process to get us back to where

[00:47] we were, Jared. A lot of process

[00:50] >> to do anything. Um takes effort. It

[00:53] takes it takes people and that takes

[00:55] money. So I'm I always urge my friends

[00:58] or my colleagues, people that I know,

[01:01] okay, look, you can devote a lot of

[01:04] money to giving it to universities and

[01:06] libraries and hospitals, but you know

[01:08] what? You have to devote some money to

[01:11] politics.

[01:12] >> You must I know people, well, I'm not

[01:15] involved in politics. Well, you may not

[01:17] be involved in politics, but politics is

[01:20] involved with you. All right? So, and to

[01:23] be and to change the educational system

[01:25] in the high schools, in the junior high

[01:27] schools, where they're now being taught

[01:29] that America is a racist country. I

[01:31] don't know if you know this. This is

[01:32] what's being taught. The evils of

[01:35] America.

[01:35] >> Oh, yeah.

[01:36] >> So, that has to be changed. The teachers

[01:38] union has to be dissolved. These people

[01:42] should be frankly they should be in jail

[01:45] >> for teaching anti-American philosophy to

[01:48] Americans to teaching people young

[01:51] people to hate this country. What is

[01:53] this Okay.

[01:55] >> Right.

[01:56] >> So the teachers union has to be

[01:58] dissolved. We have to vote in and it's

[02:01] on the local level. I have friends who

[02:03] are on school boards but there are there

[02:06] are five members in this particular

[02:07] school board in near my neighborhood.

[02:10] Three of them are leftists and and two

[02:12] are common sense people. Well, they get

[02:14] outvoted. So, we have to vote these the

[02:17] right people in. And it's it in each

[02:19] individual community. You don't have to

[02:21] think about how you're going to save the

[02:23] world. Save your community. Get

[02:26] involved. Run for a local office. It

[02:30] doesn't You don't have to run for mayor.

[02:32] Run for the school board. Run from the

[02:34] planning association. Yeah,

[02:35] >> you know, I happen to be on the board of

[02:37] my HOA for these kinds of reasons. Now,

[02:41] it takes time. It takes effort,

[02:44] >> but it's necessary if you want to live

[02:47] in in if you want to maintain the great

[02:50] country that we have, the standard of

[02:52] living that we have, you have to get

[02:54] involved. And it doesn't mean you need a

[02:56] lot of money. You don't need money to

[02:57] run for a school board or for a

[02:59] committee council member or something.

[03:01] No, you just have to be willing to do

[03:04] it.

[03:05] join a local conservative chapter of

[03:07] some kind,

[03:08] >> right? And support a candidate, right?

[03:11] And it doesn't, again, it doesn't mean a

[03:13] lot of money.
