Candace Owens shares her experience traveling to Russia and explores the historical connections between radical movements and the Bolshevik Revolution that led to the murder of over 60 million Russian Christians. She examines the assassination of Tsar Alexander II, the execution of the Romanov family, and the subsequent communist genocide that Hollywood refuses to discuss. After visiting Moscow and St. Petersburg, Owens challenges everything Americans have been told about modern Russia, describing a country that is safe, clean, and spiritually rich, contrary to the narratives promoted by Western media. She questions why Russia maintains a level four travel advisory while American cities like Chicago and Los Angeles face their own safety crises, and argues that the West is using sanctions as weapons of control.
The Assassination of Tsar Alexander II and the Roots of Revolution
The story begins with the assassination of Tsar Alexander II, which was plotted by a terrorist group in Russia known in English as the People's Will. Despite the fact that Jewish people represented only 4% of the population, they were overrepresented in this terrorist cell involved in the plotting and eventual assassination of the Tsar in 1881. As his carriage was passing through St. Petersburg, an assassin stepped forward and threw a bomb at his carriage. The Tsar was unhurt, but one of his soldiers was wounded, and he stepped out to check on him. At that moment, a second assassin stepped forward and threw a bomb directly at the Tsar's feet. He died from his injuries.
The background of this story emerged from research into the history of radical feminism in America, which led to Russia and the Jewish women who were involved in the plotting and planning of this assassination. American Jewish woman Deborah Hertz offered an article examining why so many Jewish women in particular were involved in terrorism. The article is entitled "Dangerous Politics, Dangerous Assassins, Love and Terror Among Jewish Women Radicals in Tsarist Russia."
Hertz writes: "Luckily, we do possess meticulous numbers on the People's Will, a notorious radical organization from the 1870s and the 1880s. These figures reveal that Jewish women were spectacularly overrepresented in this circle. The People's Will attracted 2,193 activists during the decade of the '80s. Among these 2,000 some radicals were 95 Jewish women who represented almost a third of the only 348 women that were in the party. Moreover, the 95 Jewish women were twice as well represented among the Jewish activists as the Christian women were among the Christian activists."
After the assassination, there were pogroms in Russia. The overwhelming majority of Jews were confined inside the Pale of Settlement, the western region of Russia, the former territory of the historic Polish-Lithuanian states. Many willfully left when people said they couldn't kill tsars and plan assassinations. After the Tsar's death, the Christian Romanov dynasty was still in power, so the revolution against the empire was not complete—not until 1917.
The Bolshevik Revolution and the Murder of the Romanov Family
The utterly satanic Bolshevik Revolution murdered the entire Romanov family in 1917. The assassination of the Romanov family was led by the Bolshevik executioner Yakov Yurovsky, a Talmudic Jew. The family was awakened and told to dress under the guise of being relocated to a safer place. They were then led into a cellar room and arranged for a photograph first to quell rumors that they had escaped. Then Yurovsky read out an execution order, surprising them, and the guards opened fire in a chaotic bloodbath.
Because the daughters had family jewels sewn into their corsets, many of the initial bullets were deflected. This forced the executioners to use bayonets. Women and children were bayoneted in a cellar. At that moment, the revolution was won. The communist regime began under Vladimir Lenin, and the greatest genocide of all time began. More than 60 million Russian Christians were ruthlessly murdered. Their churches were intentionally closed, destroyed, and burned. State atheism was mandated. It's the genocide that Hollywood for some reason has never been interested in creating any films about.
The Stolen Wealth of the Christian Empire
An important element of this history is what happened to the wealth of the Christian empire. The jewelries, the diamonds, and the arts which belonged to these murdered Christian families who were thrown into gulags—where did it all go? Where is the stolen heritage of the Christian empire? There is an idea where some of it went: to America, specifically to the diamond district in New York City.
The family story of actor Armie Hammer provides insight into how this wealth was transferred. His family history and how they came to America is quite amazing. From the New York Times article titled "The Riddle of Armand Hammer," which discusses his grandfather: "After Lenin seized power in 1917, Washington, D.C., not only refused to recognize his government—it did not relent until 1933—but it also effectively cut off Moscow's access to all of its gold and currency reserves in the United States. The net effect was that the Soviet government could not buy the supplies that it desperately needed to retain power."
"To remedy the situation, Lenin appointed a Russian-German engineer named Ludwig Martens as his ambassador to the United States with the mission of organizing shipments of supplies to the Soviet Union. But since Martens could not get control of the Russian funds immediately, he turned to Julius Hammer for interim financing. Hammer paid the rent and other expenses of Martens' unofficial Soviet Bureau in New York. Hammer was officially appointed the commercial attaché of the Soviet Bureau and also was given an exclusive license for Russian trade."
"By 1918, the Soviet Union was financing the Soviet Bureau by smuggling diamonds into New York. It was also art. Julius Hammer was responsible for converting these diamonds into cash to finance the purchase of Soviet supplies, according to the autobiography of one of Julius Hammer's fellow party members. Armand Hammer denies this, but in any case, the Hammer family soon moved from their modest home in the Bronx to luxurious quarters in the Hotel Ansonia in Manhattan, and Julius Hammer noticeably improved his style of living."
The Survival of Orthodox Christianity
Despite hundreds of thousands of priests murdered and tens of millions of women and children murdered in concentration camps, Russian Christianity survived. Orthodox Christianity survived. Beauty and truth persisted. In the place where the revolutionaries bombed the royal carriage of Alexander II, Christians built a church right in the heart of St. Petersburg called the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood.
The church stands as a testament to the Christian heritage that survived the communist genocide. The ceiling and icons inside are among the most beautiful expressions of Orthodox Christianity. This represents the endurance of faith through one of history's darkest periods.
Modern Russia: Challenging Western Narratives
What is feared about Russia is the fact that it is no longer communist. It hasn't been communist for over 30 years. It survived communism, and the true history of what it went through and how it came to be awaits any Christian or any person who is curious. Certain commentators like Ben Shapiro and Mark Levin resent this history. They rewrite history and seek to control Christians with concepts like "Judeo-Christian," whatever that means.
Megyn Kelly stated that she truly believes that if Mark Levin could get away with it, he would hurt her. He hates Russia and says his grandparents are from Russia, which raises questions: When did they come over? Who were they? What did they do? Why is he so maniacal? Why are these voices always calling for war and death and destruction? What is their true inheritance? The Bible says you will know them by their fruit.
Every person in the world should visit Russia and apply for a visa. Go see the Kremlin Museum. Visitors will be spiritually moved by Russia. Everything—and this means everything—that we have been told about Russia is a lie. When Tucker Carlson was looking at the grocery stores, that was not propaganda. That was real. An entire Catholic family moved to Russia from Iowa, and when asked if this was just in Moscow, they said no. They live an hour and a half outside the city. They said one of the most amazing things is how cheap the food is, how healthy the food is, and that every place is like Whole Foods. They particularly pointed out the grocery stores.
Don't take it from any commentator. Don't take it from Tucker Carlson. Go for yourself. Use your own eyes and believe your own eyes. The takeaway from visiting Russia is that it is American society that is on the decline, not theirs. Russia has not been communist in over 30 years. What about the United States? Pornography, welfare dependency, non-stop war, debt—people telling Americans that this is freedom. This is the boogeyman syndrome, comparing America to something people have never seen so they don't riot in the streets demanding change, recognizing that Americans are actually being stolen from.
The Travel Experience and What It Reveals
The grocery stores in Russia were amazing. The Christian icons—the oldest Christian icons—create an almost metaphysical experience. You feel the experience and recognize that something has gone wrong in the West. Why doesn't American society look like this? Why is Russia safe? Why is it clean? Why are they lying about how safe and clean it is? How on Earth is this a country at a level four travel advisory? If Moscow is at a level four travel advisory, what travel advisory should Washington D.C. have? Chicago? Los Angeles?
Americans are so far in the cave, and people are creating shadows on the wall. The country is at a very bad time, listening to certain voices while ignoring others. When attending a conference in Russia and listening to Putin speak, the translations are important to understand what is being said. What he is saying appears to be correct: The West is on a decline because it has used sanctioning as a weapon.
Look at how sanctions are being used domestically. Candace Owens and Kanye West face restrictions. Owens can't even get into Australia—she's banned. Kanye can't perform in the West. He's not allowed to do his songs because it's now ideological. Americans are told they must support certain policies and leaders, but as Putin said, the sanctions are not applied evenly. Israel is not sanctioned by the United States despite the number of people and children killed. They'll find any reason if they want to sanction someone. They'll say you didn't support certain movements enough, so they'll sanction you. That is a controlling mechanism and it is a weapon that is failing.
A New Power Rising in the East
There is now a power building in the East that is reality. Americans have to face that. They have to understand what is happening on a global scale and understand why they are being lied to about the state of Russia. The country is beautiful. Moscow felt futuristic. The beef conference attended was futuristic. The truth must be told. There's no one funding this message, which is why there are constant attacks—because it has been figured out that this message cannot be controlled by money.
The goal is to tell the truth so that children have a chance in the future. Right now it feels like America is being squeezed, that servicemen are being lied to and squeezed, and it is not to the benefit of any families. It's only to their detriment.
