Charlie Kirk and Dr Ben Carson Challenge Christians to Save America in 34 Days Through Ballot Chasing

October 3, 2024

Charlie Kirk delivers an urgent call to action at Dream City Church alongside Dr. Ben Carson, revealing shocking data from George Barna showing Christian voter turnout projected to hit record lows. Kirk introduces the Commit 100 strategy, challenging Christians in Arizona to chase 100 ballots each during election month, potentially delivering 200,000 votes. Dr. Carson draws parallels between ancient Israel's battles and today's spiritual warfare, addressing everything from the 320,000 missing children at the southern border to the crisis of masculinity in American churches. With Arizona's Attorney General decided by just 270 votes last cycle, Kirk argues this room of 2,000 people could determine Western Civilization's fate.

Record Low Christian Turnout Threatens Election

Charlie Kirk opened the Freedom Night in America event at Dream City Church with alarming data from George Barna showing Christian turnout is projected to be 12% lower than 2020 and 17% lower than 2016. Kirk didn't mince words about the stakes, stating that wokeism has infected the American Church and too many pastors are afraid to stand on principle and truth.

Kirk emphasized that Christians will be held to a higher standard for fighting for the nation, The Unborn, children, and liberty. He challenged the audience directly, saying Christians have no right to complain about leaders not being pro-life enough if they don't show up in big numbers to vote.

The Commit 100 Strategy

Kirk introduced the Commit 100 program, challenging attendees to ensure 100 low propensity voters cast ballots for Donald Trump. With nearly 2,000 people in attendance, Kirk calculated this could generate 200,000 votes in Arizona, a state where the Attorney General won by just 270 votes in 2022 and Trump fell short by 11,000 ballots in 2020.

Kirk explained that Dream City Church will host a secure ballot drop box starting next week, allowing people to drop off ballots at church rather than random street locations. The drop box will have 24/7 security with only authorized county personnel having access.

He urged Christians to embrace election month rather than waiting for Election Day, noting that Democrats flood Arizona with thousands of full-time workers knocking on doors. Kirk argued the movement is too big to fit everyone voting on Election Day alone, and giving supporters more days to vote increases turnout among plumbers, electricians, welders, police officers, single moms, and nurses working doubles.

Proposition 139 and Abortion

Kirk issued a stark warning about Proposition 139, which would make Arizona the most radical pro-abortion state in the country with no restrictions and late-term abortion as the norm. He called it reason enough for every Christian to vote, stating the opposition is lying and deceiving through propaganda. Current polling shows it will likely pass unless millions of Christians and pastors speak morally clear about what's happening.

Kirk challenged those who say Trump isn't pro-life enough, pointing out that Christians first need to show up in massive numbers to defeat pro-abortion ballot referendums before complaining about candidate positions.

Voting for Teams, Not Just Candidates

Kirk made the case that voters aren't just choosing between Trump and Harris, but between two teams of 5,000 people who will make decisions affecting everyday life. He explained that when a president is elected, a transition team with a Blue Book selects 5,000 people who make decisions about whether men shower with daughters, whether churches are deemed non-essential, whether babies need 72 vaccines for daycare, what food six-year-olds eat, and whether drag queens or alpha males run the military.

Kirk contrasted the two rosters: Harris would bring Alejandro Mayorkas keeping the border open and Anthony Fauci-type personnel, while Trump would appoint Bobby Kennedy to the cabinet for public health decisions, Elon Musk for the Department of Government Efficiency with Starlink, and Franklin Graham as counsel on religious liberty. He cited JD Vance's vice presidential debate performance as evidence of Trump's ability to choose quality people.

Dr. Ben Carson on Fear and Faith

Dr. Ben Carson joined Kirk on stage, receiving a warm welcome. Carson addressed Christian reluctance to engage in politics, citing Billy Graham's belief that it's wrong to complain about society without getting involved in helping fashion its direction.

Carson tackled the objection that both sides are bad and Christians don't want to vote for the lesser of two evils. He stated that unless one candidate is Jesus Christ, you're always voting between the lesser of two evils, so Christians should use their God-given brains to distinguish between helpful and harmful policies.

He posed a powerful question: Do you hate a particular person more than you love your children and grandchildren? Carson reminded the audience of Benjamin Franklin's famous quote when asked what kind of government the Constitutional Convention created: "A republic, if you can keep it." He warned how close America is to losing it, with the justice system being weaponized against political enemies.

Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness

Carson pointed to the Declaration of Independence stating rights come from the Creator, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. He said it doesn't take a great intellectual to figure out which side is for life and which is for death.

Drawing on his experience as a pediatric neurosurgeon, Carson described operating on premature babies at 25, 26, and 27 weeks gestation who needed anesthesia because they could feel everything. He contrasted this with late-term abortions where forceps grab limbs without anesthesia, pulling and twisting until an arm, leg, or other body part comes out. He called this barbaric and questioned whether America is any better than ancient societies that sacrificed children.

Carson referenced Proverbs 24:11-12 about the responsibility to help those drawn unto death and about to be slain, noting that God who sees and knows everything knows what each person did or didn't do. He emphasized the responsibility extends beyond the unborn to homeless people, most of whom are either addicted to drugs or mentally ill.

Addressing Addiction and Homelessness

Carson explained that housing first policies don't work, with 90% of homeless people ending up back on the street. He shared insights from the head of the American Psychiatric Association that the vast majority of mentally ill homeless people could become functional with medications and supervision.

On addiction, Carson noted that most addicts would love not to be addicted and would wear out a button to end their addiction if one existed. He explained addiction is a physiological process in the brain that's extremely difficult to overcome, requiring compassion and professional help. Without understanding this and providing appropriate intervention, society just adds to the numbers.

The Marxist Threat and Intimidation

Carson explained that Marxism, socialism, and communism thrive on intimidation through political correctness, woke ideology, and cancel culture. He emphasized Christians must recognize that persecution may come from being vocal and aggressive, but against the backdrop of eternity, a little persecution in this life is insignificant.

He shared a childhood story about overcoming his fear of dogs after a man told him dogs won't bother you if you act unafraid. Carson tested this with Rusty, a nasty dog in his neighborhood who came running, barking and snarling, but just sniffed his leg and went back to the porch. From that day forward, Rusty never bothered him because the dog knew he wasn't afraid.

Carson drew the parallel that the same thing will happen with Marxists in society if Christians are brave enough to trust God and do what needs to be done without worrying about silly threats, because God is ultimately in charge.

The 320,000 Missing Children

Kirk highlighted one of the biggest border issues: 320,000 missing children in just the last four years who are now prostitutes and sex slaves for the cartel. He explained that drug cartels shifted from selling drugs to selling human beings, getting $10,000 per person.

Kirk emphasized that slavery is alive and well, referencing James O'Keefe's new documentary "Line in the Sand" showing border patrol agents blowing the whistle. They report being told by superiors, including Mayorkas and Harris, to get as many kids in the country as possible with people who aren't their parents. These unaccompanied minors get thrown to pimps, and 13-year-olds become sex slaves for life while the government co-sponsors and facilitates it and the media doesn't care.

Carson responded by citing Jesus saying it would be better for a millstone to be placed around someone's neck and thrown into the depths of the sea than to lead children astray. This shows how the Lord feels about children and protecting them.

The Science of Life and Child Development

Carson provided a detailed scientific explanation of fetal development, describing how at fertilization a zygote with 46 chromosomes forms, creating a complete genetic map for a new person, not part of the mother or father. The brain starts developing immediately with millions of neurons daily, later billions per day.

He explained that when a baby is born, the brain is still developing at a terrific rate, which is why newborns sleep 20 to 22 hours daily. Brain development continues right into the mid-20s.

Carson called it child abuse that adults in school systems and other locations tell 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13-year-old kids with non-developed brains that they may not be a girl or boy. He emphasized that God gives children parents to protect them when they're vulnerable.

Getting Involved in Civic Life

Carson challenged people to get seriously involved in the legislative process, perhaps as state representatives or school board members, to ensure child abuse doesn't happen. He said it's not just failing to vote but failing to get involved that's hurting America. Christians need to be leaders and wield power in these areas.

He pushed back against the cultural message that religion and politics are two things you should never talk about in public, saying those are exactly the things Christians need to discuss because that's where the attack is coming from. With an election approaching, it's the perfect time.

The Breakdown of the American Family

Carson addressed how American families are being dismantled and not forming. People aren't getting married or are marrying late, and women aren't bearing children. America is down to 1.6 births per woman when it takes 2.1 to maintain the population.

He explained that families are where values are passed through. If children don't get appropriate counseling and guidance from parents, they get it from somewhere else. This explains what's happening on college campuses with kids proclaiming Hamas as the victim when they destroyed the lives of 1,400 Israelis on October 7th.

Carson said these students don't know the history of the Holocaust, hatred, or anything about Jacob and Esau, Ishmael and Isaac, or any relevant history, making them easily manipulated. He noted that Marxists always dumb down the population first so they can gaslight people, which is exactly what's happening in American society.

Questions from the Audience

During the Q&A session, attendees asked about exposing Kamala Harris's real character beyond her rolled-out persona. Carson responded that Harris was the most left-wing senator and destroyed San Francisco as DA and California as Attorney General. The pattern is set for what she would do as president. He noted her far-left base isn't mad at her, which proves she hasn't actually moved off those positions.

Kirk added that if Harris wins, there will be 30 million new illegal people in the country within two years, all getting amnesty. She will pack the Supreme Court and add DC and Puerto Rico as states, ensuring Republicans never win again.

The Gender Divide in Faith

One attendee asked about a Fox News post showing men pouring into church pews and flipping the female trend on faith for the first time in modern American history. Kirk explained that men are the most conservative and religious they've been in 50 years, while women are the most liberal and least religious in 50 years.

Kirk attributed this to the culture women are ingesting, including pop artists like Taylor Swift glorifying a non-married, single, career-driven boss babe culture about body sovereignty without morals or objective truth. The screed for that worldview is abortion as a way to declare sovereignty.

This worldview contradicts religion because when you enter a church, you acknowledge you aren't the boss of your own life, that there's a God and you aren't Him, and you should bow at the cross where Jesus died for you. The culture tells young ladies to freeze their eggs, get on hormonal birth control, and not need support or a man, creating the least married, most oppressed, most suicidal, and most anxious generation of women in history.

Meanwhile, young men ingest culture from Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh, and others presenting a perspective that masculinity is good, that God built a world with distinctions between male and female, good and evil, man and nature, and holy and profane. You fit into these distinctions through hierarchy, above animals but below God.

Kirk explained that masculine content leads eventually to the Cross, while cultural content for young ladies leads further away. He called for better godly female role models who can be female Jordan Petersons laying out a deep, biblical, exciting, and thoughtful philosophical worldview.

The Church Must Stop Feminizing Its Approach

Kirk clarified that stopping feminization doesn't mean women can't be involved in ministry. It means watering down the truth of the Gospel to avoid offending somebody. Women are generally more agreeable and far less likely to say something that might offend others because of how God made them.

Men are more likely to say something blunt that might offend a group and be an outlier. Women want to fit in, which is why they're more likely to be part of social contagion, more likely to be trans, cut themselves, be goth, or part of suicide cults due to hive-mindedness.

The solution is for the church to get back to preaching the Word of God as written, not trying to put it through a worldly secular lens. This also explains why women don't seem upset about men playing in women's sports. If you study second and third-wave feminism, transgenderism is the logical endpoint. It was never about women's rights but about sympathizing with anyone who identifies with the struggle of a woman.

Final Challenge and Call to Action

Kirk closed by reminding attendees that the room of nearly 2,000 people could deliver Arizona for Donald Trump and save the country and Western Civilization. He emphasized that everyone is present for such a time as this, referencing the Book of Esther.

He countered the enemy's message that individual actions don't matter by pointing out the Arizona Attorney General won by just 270 votes in 2022, and Trump fell short by 11,000 ballots in 2020. If everyone in the room finds just six new Trump voters, that exceeds what Republicans fell short of in 2020.

Kirk's message was clear: this election is within grasp, it will be close, and the opposition is desperate, having tried to impeach, indict, and assassinate Trump. Since he still stands to fight for everyone, the least people can do is fight for him by downloading the Turning Point Action app, signing up for Commit 100, and chasing ballots for the next 34 days.
