The Competing Ballistics Theories in Charlie Kirk's Assassination
Showing 20 Ballistics Analysis videos from Charlie Kirk's video collection.
Ballistics analysis became one of the most contested technical battlegrounds in coverage of Charlie Kirk's assassination, with independent analysts reaching sharply different conclusions from the same limited public evidence. Dr. Chris Martinson of Peak Prosperity argued through frame-by-frame video analysis that the recovered high-velocity rifle round's trajectory made it physically impossible for Tyler Robinson to have fired the fatal shot from the position investigators described. Alex Jones later obtained what he described as surgeon-sourced details indicating the bullet struck Kirk's spine at a downward angle, ricocheted through six vertebrae, and fragmented in his shoulder without exiting, an account offered specifically to explain the absence of an exit wound that had fueled competing theories. A separate forensic analysis proposed that custom engravings on the ammunition itself may have altered its ballistics enough to prevent exit, while investigator Camron Vance used audio waveform analysis comparing the actual gunshot's sound signature against both a 9mm handgun and a .30-06 rifle to test competing distance-and-weapon theories directly. Analysts including Gary Melton of Paramount and Jesus Enrique Rosas pushed back against the more elaborate alternative-shooter theories, arguing that basic physics, body mechanics, and the recorded audio all pointed consistently to a single rooftop shot rather than the multiple-shooter or close-range scenarios some independent investigators continued to promote.
